If you want to eat excellent pizza and enjoy beautiful nature, this is the perfect place for you. On top of that, the staff is extremely friendly and cheerful, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommended! 😊

THE place for Pizza with the Maestro Pizzaiolo Santos doing his magic and the Host with the Most charming Luigi keeps everything happening with his home like welcoming and excellent knowledge. A must go to if you’re in the Castellina area. We look so forward to visiting them from Vancouver. Ciao for now hope to visit you again soon ♥️

We arrived late without a reservation, received a warm welcome and very good service. Large portions. We weren't really that hungry, so we ordered too much food, if you eat normal amounts and want to eat several dishes, I recommend sharing each dish with two. Large selection of wines and we were very happy with the advice we received. The best Chianti Classic (50 euros) we tasted during our week in the area. The staff were happy and nice and we felt well taken care of. The restaurant offered avec and let us sit as long as we wanted. Recommend a visit! Addition: The next day we tried their Caprese (a large ball of mozzarella), pizza and a bottle of house wine (really good) and were very happy with this dinner for two people for under 60 euros.

The bread was the best we tried during our visit to Tuscany and so was the tiramisu. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly.

We were travelling and starving in the afternoon and we found this place open. They served us four fabulous pizzas, tiramisu and marvellous coffee. Really hospitable staff. Thank you very much.

The pizza was absolutely delicious, the lasagna was excellent, and the wine was very good. The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and welcoming — and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and very pleasant. We definitely recommend it.

09/06/2026: Not great. Food was average, ordered a margherita pizza and it was basically a regular pizza with a ton of cheese on top, like a 4 cheese type of pizza. I’d make a better one at home. Service was quite bad too, asked for the possibility of a small side salad and were served a big salad from the menu (15 euros), we didn’t eat it and they accepted to take it back. Then 2 times they got tables wrong for the orders and brought us things we didn’t order, which is ok but .. 2 times.. so all in all would not recommend.
06/06/2026: Aperitif and not the usual aperitif... completely gluten-free, finally there is someone who remembers us celiacs and makes us eat well, they were very kind in the service, I will definitely be back it was a nice discovery, thank you

Osteria Alla Piazza

20/05/2026: One of our tastiest pasta was here. The pasta with cod fish, it was in the special dishes. Amazing.
17/05/2026: Our cheese starter was served with bread that didn't seem fresh. It was hard and very dry. The olive oil was of very good quality. The main course was rather uninspired and unrefined in its presentation, and very bland in taste. A sauce, remoulade, or dip would have been nice. All the ingredients were deep-fried in a beer batter and simply dumped onto the plate without any garnish. That's it. For a restaurant with these prices, this leaves much to be desired. The service was good, but we weren't asked if we were satisfied during the meal, so we couldn't complain. The ambiance was great.
