27/12/2025: Truly excellent, we'd been there several years ago, always top notch. The appetizers were amazing, the pappardelle with wild boar was excellent, and the carbon cake was delicious. The carbon placemat was cute.

20/01/2026: The pastries are excellent, the mini pastries are amazing, the problem is everything else. The owner's rudeness is the first thing. I arrived (the only customer there), I said good morning, no response. To make me a coffee, they finished talking first (the owner and the barista), then 2 minutes later they made me a coffee. To pay, I went to the cashier, it seemed like they were doing me a favor by making me pay. Never again.

19/12/2025: I already knew this place from previous experiences with the previous owners. The business changed hands, and curiosity led me to try the cuisine of the new, young owners. Previous experiences had been completely satisfactory, so expectations were high. At this point, I risk sounding exaggerated in my overall rating, because the enthusiasm and professionalism of these young people captivated me. Naima, the woman who waits the tables, is lively, attentive, a lover of her homeland, Puglia, and incredibly sweet. Her name is challenging, but it perfectly captures it. The place is lively, pleasant, and at times intimate, with a terrace overlooking the most iconic representation of Tuscany: a succession of hills and delightful villages. Last but not least, but not least, the kitchen. Partly open, it hides nothing of the chef's magic. Traditional dishes enhanced with sophistication, using carefully selected ingredients, often picked from the garden downstairs. I won't even mention the olive oil; Arriving in town, you can't help but notice the splendid olive groves that produce a product of enviable quality. As for wines, the selection is vast, both for taste and... for your wallet. In conclusion, worth trying again and again. See you soon, guys.

15/01/2026: A truly excellent dinner at Osteria San Paolo. The linguini was flavorful and well-balanced, the seafood risotto creamy and rich in flavor, made with the freshest ingredients. To round out the evening, a perfect soufflé, light and delicious. The pleasant atmosphere and attentive service made it an experience definitely worth repeating.

30/12/2025: The food was truly delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. The restaurant manager was incredibly friendly. I was with a family of friends, and we couldn't have chosen a better restaurant, both for the food and the kindness and friendliness of the staff.

09/11/2025: A lovely discovery just steps from the theater and the city center. An intimate place where you can enjoy excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared, that evoke the simple flavors of home from days gone by. Above all, you can enjoy conversation—something we all too often forget. It's not for those in a hurry who don't appreciate the time it takes to prepare food. The cured meats and pasta dishes are excellent. My only comment: the wine would be better, with a deeper level of depth, and a wider selection of focaccia and other breads would make the whole experience more convivial.

03/02/2026: Great pizza, great service. This is a small pizzeria, with a small crew and it's always full, So reservation is required specially weekends. The menu offers different choices of pizza, the ingredients are good quality, and not on the cheap side like most pizzerias use, good quality reflects on the flavor. They also offer a beer menu, beer made in Toscany. I highly recommend this place. Prices are moderate.

01/02/2026: Exquisite cuisine, traditional Tuscan dishes combined with refined haute cuisine. This combination creates wonderful dining experiences. Add to that friendly, discreet yet very attentive service. I've eaten there three times, and each time it's been a top-notch experience.

01/02/2026: We have been a few times and every visit has always been great! Staff are very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Food is very well prepared, always fresh and when in season, home grown. The dishes off the menu are fabulous. A very enjoyable mixture of flavours and unique personal touch stand out and add to the experience. The restaurant is well kept and nicely heated in the winter making it very comfortable. Gladly recommend and look forward to returning.

06/01/2026: We came here last February, didn’t plan was walking past late morning. The smell was amazing everything looked so good we had to go in. First time in Italy, first time trying aubergine Parmigiana and white lasagna. Their potatoes were amazing aswel. Ever since I have been ordering these dishes but they haven’t been as nice. Thank you for welcoming us in and for your original recipes that has been handed down through your family run business.

30/12/2025: A true Italian restaurant and caterer, all in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. Dishes come straight from the oven right in front of you, prepared by the husband who cooks them, and served piping hot by his wife. A plate costs €10, so don't hesitate to fill your plate generously! The lasagna is incredible.

17/11/2025: Very good. Refined dishes, well-served in a quiet atmosphere. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended. Prices are expensive but reasonable. Parking is a bit far, but that's the way it is in the center of Palaia.
