16/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! Superb experience last night at this trattoria. A magnificent discovery with their T-bone steak alla Fiorentina: the meat and the cooking were simply perfect. An address to remember, I highly recommend it!

20/05/2026: Arriving and hearing laughter, the family atmosphere is like coming home to your mom's house and being surrounded by the whole family, not to mention the delicious aroma. This is the experience you'll have at this pizzeria. THE BEST PIZZA I'VE EVER EATEN, and even then, I can't do it justice. A thin and crispy crust, fresh tomatoes in the pomodoro sauce. We ordered a prosciutto and funghi pizza with another quattro statio (artichokes, ham, black olives, and mushrooms). The lady who served us was a lovely person with spectacular service. She offered us cecina (a thin crust made with chickpea flour, salt, and water), also quite tasty, and a specialty of Italy and Pisa. San Miguel beer was served in ice-cold beer glasses from Romania or Rome—I can't remember exactly—because the owner is from there. The best and most wonderful part of the night was that there was no one else there. We arrived quite late from the airport, and even so, they welcomed us and took great care of us. They even offered us two complimentary drinks. They have a limoncello that's so sweet, citrusy, and eccentric that you'll want more. They also have a bitter liqueur, which my husband loved... 26/10/2025: We went there today on the recommendation of a friend. It's a lovely place, small but well-located (even in summer, with tables outside), and tastefully decorated, with many paintings, clocks, an old telephone, and modern antiques (even the bathroom is beautiful). The service is excellent, and the dishes are delicious, varied, and plentiful. The price is fair, in line with the quality of the food. I'm happy to have celebrated my birthday there.

31/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant with limited seating. Everything was delicious, from the taglierino appetizer to the pappardelle with wild boar to the Chianina beef stew. All were paired with a nice red wine recommended by the friendly and professional host. Excellent value for money.

09/10/2025: One of the best culinary offerings in Italy: high-quality fish and seafood at a good price. Tired of eating pizza and pasta, we went in search of some seafood. We ordered the following: - Appetizers: grilled octopus, delicious 5/5. - Grilled shrimp burger. Delicious! 5/5 (the fries could be better) - Lobster pasta 5/5. We paid 67 euros.

06/10/2025: I was so interested in this restaurant, the first one to let you scan a menu with your phone! 1. The service was fantastic! And there was no table charge! After we were seated, the waiter explained, "We have dishes not on the menu, like fried anchovies, etc." However, our English wasn't very good, and he didn't quite understand what we were saying. He then used my phone's translation app to type out some of the information for us, patiently explaining his own English issues. 2. The food was excellent! We ordered a fried food platter and a burger, which was more than enough for us. The fried food was even a little greasy after it cooled, so we didn't eat it. The fried food was delicious, so you can be assured! 3. The wine was also excellent! We finished our order with a glass of their house wine, which had a light tannic flavor, grapey aroma, and was very drivable. Highly recommended! (Though I rarely drink red wine or wine in China, so it's a matter of personal preference.) Overall, I highly recommend it!

06/05/2026: We visited Pizzeria La Meridiana - The Original Since 1967 - Also Gluten-Free with some colleagues, and we all had a great time. The place is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a dinner with friends. The pizza was really good, with a light dough and quality ingredients. The gluten-free options were also much appreciated, and they were carefully prepared and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the evening, making us feel at ease. Even though the place was quite busy, service was still well-managed. One small suggestion would be to speed up the service slightly during peak hours. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be back.

18/06/2026: One of the more memorable experiences while dining in Italy - apetizers were tasty (Latvians love marinated herring, I never thought it could be made so rich), the main course of beef fillet had a great sauce & crust, and the local wine tied it all together. The location and views are well worth the drive, its cosy, the garden is beautiful and the owner is very hands-on, making it a pleasant and educational experience for the guests. Dont skip this place, imo, the 4.5 is misleading, inherited from the previous owners.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Amila, who made us feel very comfortable right away with her friendly and professional attitude. The food was excellent — we had the linguine with seafood, lasagna, and minestrone, and everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service throughout the evening was very professional, attentive, and genuinely polite. On top of that, the price-performance ratio was outstanding. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Pisa and would happily come back again. Thank you very much for the lovely evening!

16/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic! It was a pleasure to eat here in May 2026. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They also went the extra mile for our little daughter, which we greatly appreciated. There was a high chair available as well as a clean changing area, making us feel truly welcome as a family. The food was delicious, and the cozy location in the charming little street completed the experience perfectly. We will definitely be back here again!

06/07/2026: A stunningly beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is perfect. The food is fresh and truly prepared with love. The wines also pair wonderfully with it. I would almost not dare recommend it because I want to keep it to myself. A real 10 out of 10!

12/06/2026: I ate at Retone 136 and had a truly positive experience. We ordered delicious calamarata with octopus ragù and a mixed fried squid and shrimp with vegetables, all very fresh and cooked to perfection. ​Special thanks to the young woman who served us: she was extremely kind and courteous, and recommended a sparkling wine that turned out to be an excellent pairing. ​Highly recommended if you're looking for quality and attentive service. I'll definitely be back!

17/07/2026: Wonderful place, from the owners to the location, and then the food, guys! If my wife hadn't stopped me from eating, I would have had seconds of everything.... And I can't even begin to tell you about the fried sardines.... The Sicilian cannoli Fattonfa Carmen are truly amazing, just like in Sicily... Bye guys, we'll see each other again in November, as promised.

18/07/2026: Peperosa was a wonderful discovery. Silvia is attentive to her customers and incredibly passionate about what she does. The menu is always varied, and the daily specials are worth the visit. The Peperosa appetizer is a must-try; the mixed mango gazpacho is a delight, as is the tartared amberjack, exquisite in its simplicity and garnish. The extremely positive review is rounded out by the wide selection of quality wines and the kitchen's homemade schiacciatine. The atmosphere is very quiet; this place deserves a more casual location, not for tourists (who I'm more than convinced would devour everything) but for Pisans seeking excellent cuisine and excellent service.
