29/04/2026: We came here for dinner, drawn by the excellent reviews, and I must say we were not disappointed! The pappa al pomodoro was truly delicious. Then, the homemade pappardelle with Chianina beef ragù, excellent! Of course, with homemade bread to mop up the sauce. But the real highlight is the meat: a wide variety of steaks and expert advice. Cooked perfectly! Friendly and professional service! If you're passing through, a stop is a must!

07/04/2026: The pirates' lair is jealously guarded by the predators of taste, ready to set sail on new sensory forays. The unwary traveler who sadly approaches the food and fails to recognize the indelible insignia risks getting lost in this Babel of conviviality.
The signs are evident, overlapping, and displayed like trophies. Captain Blackbeard's philosophy is clear in its intent and purpose, conveyed by the crew with a Picard-like air as they welcome customers onto the ship with the skull and crossbones.
The dim light and the indelible "signs" of those who preceded us facilitate entry into the shop's gustatory knowledge.
The tender cured meats gathered on the plate forge a pact of loyalty: first, the fresh prosciutto opens the taste buds to the assault of the more concentrated cured meats and delicate pancettas, which, mindful of their origins, melt at the arrival of the second wave of flavor.
In their straw-yellow white suits, complex cheeses arrive, such as the proud pecorino and spicy gorgonzola, veined in their own style, while, freed from shame, the bloomy rinds hide behind the timid parmesan.
While awaiting the next assault on the palates of those present, rivers of joyful wine soothe the mood until the arrival of the first courses filled with rich sausages related to light cream or solitary salmon.
The tagliata arrive urgently, raw in the rush and flavored with a few random herbs so as not to be completely naked.
Rich mascarpone creams, buttery and composed with crunchy fans necessary to hide the intimate grain enclosed within, awaken and cover the raw sensations.
After the meal, the brigade gathers in a disorderly fashion to bid farewell and plan the next melee attack.

18/03/2026: The atmosphere is lovely, bright, clean, and welcoming. The food is truly excellent. The portions are huge. The kindness of the owner/waitress is an added bonus. Her husband, the chef, prepares excellent dishes. They took over the place in 2024 and are doing a great job. The prices are average, actually a little lower because the portions are really large.
Go, you'll be satisfied, just like we were.

19/03/2026: What can I say...for what we spent I expected better, the truffle meat was good but the black truffle (the cheapest one) was dusted... the steak was not cooked like I've seen done elsewhere... the side dish was 4 baked potatoes (cold) the service was very kind... in the end for a starter and steak almost 80 euros per person seems excessive to me...

26/12/2025: Too much waiting between one course and the next........the inside is deafening.....if you happen to be at a table next to you and they're talking.....everything echoes and you can't speak.....expensive....very expensive even for just a mixed grill.
16/12/2025: A well-kept restaurant with prompt service and friendly staff.
The tagliolini al fiaschetto are delicious, but especially the lasagna with cavolo nero and scamorza cheese. The restaurant's specialty is grilled meat, which is equally as good as the pasta dishes.
Good value for money.
Recommended!

02/05/2026: I think it's unacceptable for waiters to show their emotions, make statements, or express opinions unless they're related to the food or their work. It's disrespectful and unprofessional, to say the least. I thank the second young waitress for her professionalism. I didn't like the pizza; I don't recommend it.
19/04/2026: A quaint pizzeria offering a variety of dough options: thick crust, thin and light crust, or whole wheat.
I chose the light crust, which was good but still a bit heavy for me, perhaps due to the toppings I chose or the fact that it was cooked a bit later than other pizzas at the same table. Regardless, there's a wide selection of pizzas, very friendly and helpful staff, and reasonable prices.

12/05/2026: Excellent food and top-notch service
We went for lunch, and there were a large table of 17 of us. We ate very well, and even the kids had fun because they were allowed to play soccer in the adjacent field.
The relationship the owners have with their customers is spectacular.
At Francesco's, it's like feeling at home.
Thank you, Francesco, Gloria, and all the staff.
5 well-deserved stars!

12/04/2026: A wonderful park, surrounded by tons of trails. The small, rustic restaurant with excellent wine left us thrilled. I recommend it especially to nature lovers and picnickers. The grilled meat was good, as was the Sangiovese wine. I recommend trying the house amaro, which is also very good. We spent €60 in total for two main courses, potatoes, a bottle of wine, amaro, and coffee... If you love rustic, simple places, you'll definitely love it!

07/04/2026: We went for Easter Monday lunch expecting that, being a holiday, the wait might be longer than usual and that a little patience would be required. Unfortunately, however, the experience far exceeded our negative expectations.
The waits between courses were truly excessive, especially between the appetizer and the mixed grill. But what bothered us most was the quality of the food: the grill was burnt, dry, and incomplete, even missing the beef. Considering it was a "mixed grill," one might expect a full variety of meats, which was not the case.
The side dishes were also burnt and dry, confirming a general lack of attention to the preparation of the dishes.
Overall, the quality of the food was decidedly poor.
Another negative aspect was the lack of communication from the staff: no one informed us of any problems in the kitchen, and only after we reported it were we informed about the delays.
We also noted several service deficiencies: the meat knives at the table next to ours were changed, while ours weren't. The seats were dirty and the tablecloth had stains, details that significantly impact the overall experience.
It's a shame, because the location is truly beautiful.
The only positive note: the grilled food was removed from the bill, as it was burnt and inedible. A thoughtful gesture, but not enough to make up for an overall disappointing experience.
07/04/2026: A disastrous Easter Monday in a photo. Sometimes, if you can't manage a restaurant, it's best to step back. Sorry, but the place is very beautiful anyway.

Il Ristoro La Bottega del Parco

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona.
Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci.
Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale.
Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €.
Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici.
Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona.
Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto.
I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard.
Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.
21/02/2025: Cambio la precedente recensione per sottolineare quanto una gestione oculata faccia la fortuna di certe attività (insieme alla qualità del cibo e del bere).
In una precedente occasione c'era stata un'incomprensione - causata anche da mia inesperienza - che aveva portato ad una brutta esperienza, ma il titolare e il direttore hanno fatto sì che l'impressione tornasse quella di prima, ovvero di un luogo di eccellenza.

Cibo saporito,come facevano i nonni un tempo, per gustare meglio la bistecca abbiamo ordinato un mix di verdure...le patate arrosto sono una bontà!!!!
