07/08/2024: Kindness and courtesy of the owners. Typically Tuscan place. We had a very good time including their restaurant. In the evening you dine under the Tuscan sky in the most authentic countryside.

06/08/2024: We spent a few wonderful days in complete peace and quiet, in a beautiful old building with romantically furnished rooms. Unfortunately there are far too few... but we will make up for it next year. It's already booked. The two bosses Alessio and Ricardo are super nice, the food in the restaurant and the entire staff are first class, super trained, very accommodating, funny and extremely helpful. Highly Recommended. There are apparently attractive bike tours for sports enthusiasts; there are certainly a lot of people cycling up and down hills in the heat. The location is perfect, nestled in rolling hills, some of which are forested or agricultural. Since we love this corner of Tuscany anyway, this will be our new port of call. 18/08/2024: Excellent restaurant sur le thème de Bocceli. Ils vendent leurs propres produits. La décoration est très soignée. Les plats sont très raffinés, très bien présentés et le service est très agréable. Petite mention spéciale pour les pâtes à la truffe qui étaient délicieuses ! Super moment 🥰🐙

19/08/2024: Good place for a quick lunch in Volterra. Having eaten takeaway I don't have many words to say about the service but I can say that our sandwiches were prepared quickly. The sandwiches were very good and quite large, there were many customization possibilities and they included unusual ingredients for this type of place. Good quality/price ratio.

01/09/2024: Upon arrival we were greeted by Maurizio, a very friendly, nice and approachable person. After letting us choose the table and having us sit down, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco (Defaveri to be precise) and an entre served with equal care and detail on the plate, a delicious mushroom sauce with bread chips. We started what will be a fantastic journey with wild boar salami and ham, fried quail eggs with a base of porcini mushrooms, truffle cheese and truffle and mushroom crostini. Afterwards we ordered a picio with white wild boar sauce with truffle flakes, FANTASTIC! The consistency of the boar was perfect, the flavor was more than spot on, the flavors were blended but very distinct, a MASTERPIECE! later we ordered a Florentine steak (cooked perfectly), fried porcini mushrooms and fried fantasy, all perfect, to finish we had a mascarpone semifreddo with truffle and truffle honey. A CONTINUOUS OF EXPLOSIONS IN THE MOUTH. The price compared to the quality is more than excellent, fantastic atmosphere and venue, excellent welcome, exquisite cuisine, complex but not exaggerated, modest but not excessive portions, all accompanied by a Scuttum mezzeni. Everything is absolutely excellent, congratulations to everyone, we will be back soon to eat much more. Good job everyone.

31/08/2024: Beautiful rooms, lovely location, competetent staff, delicous food. Perfect. And then Carla....what more can you ask for? We were at the restaurant several times over the ladt few years. This year we booked a room there. It was fantastic. We plan to go back next year. Sono molto gentili

20/08/2024: Great vegan bistro! The paninis at lunch were divine! The gnocchi, pizza and wrap for dinner were okay, would choose the paninis again. The staff was very friendly, many options to make the meal how you like it. Made fresh from scratch. They also sell vegan & gluten free focaccia, sausages, burgers etc to make at home, beer, wine, soft drinks, plant based milk etc. great small place for takeout! Option to eat in available, but it is hot. Would 100% recommend.

08/08/2024: This inconspicuous snack bar can be found in a side street in the Pisan old town. We had a whole wheat wrap and a portion of couscous and both, but especially the wrap, were delicious! The gentleman in the shop was very friendly! A lovely experience!

13/08/2024: The place is modest and welcoming, just how I like it. The pizzas and first courses were really good but please, please put at least 80g more pasta in the pici all'aglione, I finished the dish in three forkfuls!

18/08/2024: Abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura quattro notti e per quattro sere abbiamo mangiato nella stessa! Che dire.. tutto meraviglioso! Prezzi onesti, porzioni giuste e la bontà di tutto ciò che abbiamo mangiato è indescrivibile! Davvero… io e il mio compagno siamo rimasti super soddisfatti!

17/08/2024: De Beste (met grote B) ervaring tot nu toe in Toscane! Pure lokale keuken, de overheerlijke truffel ‘opties’, zalige steaks en pasta’s! Vergeet het lokale ‘Cinta Senese’ niet te proeven! Delicieus. Voeg daarbij een gezellige romantische top locatie en dito bediening… do I need to say more? Maak dat je reserveert. (Want het is nodig!) Smakelijk.
