04/12/2025: Today we had lunch at this quaint Osteria.
Everything was excellent...from the service to the food, not to mention their willingness to customize a vegetarian dish, which wasn't on the menu, for my wife, who was pleased with the dish she had prepared.
At the end of the lunch, the forefather, Mr. Stelio, introduced himself, kind and full of recommendations...including that of trying their FANTASTIC punch.
22/11/2025: Terrible experience. Unfriendly to tourists. Even people in the queue were unfriendly and making jokes.

28/09/2025: Absolutely favorite restaurant in Chianni. We’ve been here a month and the staff is so charming, attentive, and the food is tops! Get the gnudi, truffle tortellini, pork fillet, and salted caramel cheesecake for dessert! Unfortunately, we only ate here 7 times. lol. Will miss all of you dearly. Doina, Bianca, Matteo, and Valentina!

21/09/2025: I had lunch here today with my boyfriend. It's a charming place, with a breathtaking view.
The food is truly exceptional, a wonderful culinary experience, not to mention the service. The service was the highlight of the meal. Simone, with his charisma, has the gift of making the atmosphere unique; we felt pampered. He's truly friendly and attentive. We found incredibly genuine hospitality and an unparalleled desire to make guests feel at home. Thanks also to Filomena, whose kindness and sweetness helped make our stay divine. Keep up the good work; if we were to return to the area, we would definitely return.

12/10/2025: Zero professionalism, if the waiter shamelessly flirts with customers, charging only 2 euros for a sandwich just to keep hitting on me even after being rejected by my partner, and repeatedly asking for her Instagram account. We'll be back to pay full price for the sandwich and explain to this guy that by doing so, he's ruining the business of a restaurant that is an institution in Pisa. Congratulations.

02/11/2025: Maybe we just had a bad night but... the service leaves a lot to be desired... apart from the half hour wait for the appetizer... they didn't bring bread and didn't take away used plates... well... the space is narrow so the tables are very close together, I'd say too close... it didn't convince me.

16/11/2025: We are staying in the area to view wedding venues and on our first night ventured into the town for dinner at Margo. The service and food was fantastic, and such reasonable prices too. We ended up popping back today for a drink and were greeted by the same host who remembered the wine we were drinking and brought us our snacks for free to accompany our drinks. Do not hesitate to visit and eat here if you are ever in the area! :)

I love Calci and went to this trattoria for the first time yesterday for lunch.
I had the tordelli lucchesi and the cheek with mashed potatoes! Everything was delicious 🤤 even the dark chocolate cake!
Very friendly and helpful service!
A truly pleasant and wonderful experience :) We'll be back soon!!
