02/06/2026: We went on a Monday night because everything was closed, but it was a pleasant surprise. We ate really well at reasonable prices. (€187 for 5 of us, including appetizers and meat main courses with excellent baked potatoes, plus two desserts, a bottle of wine, and two liqueurs.) The atmosphere was simple and pleasant, and the staff were friendly. When we return to the area, we'll definitely dine again. Thank you.

26/10/2025: We went there today on the recommendation of a friend. It's a lovely place, small but well-located (even in summer, with tables outside), and tastefully decorated, with many paintings, clocks, an old telephone, and modern antiques (even the bathroom is beautiful). The service is excellent, and the dishes are delicious, varied, and plentiful. The price is fair, in line with the quality of the food. I'm happy
to have celebrated my birthday there.

16/06/2026: We chose this property based on the excellent reviews, but the experience didn't meet our expectations. The breakfast was rather poor, with little choice and dry croissants. The double bed was actually two singles, the windows lacked screens, and the air conditioning was very noisy. The pool was under maintenance, but this wasn't mentioned when we booked.
The worst part was that, after the room was cleaned, the door was left wide open with all our belongings inside. This was an unacceptable lack of attention to safety. Nothing concrete was done to address this incident. The owner simply repeated his embarrassment every time we met, but offered no solution. This ended up creating an uncomfortable situation every time we left the property.
14/06/2026: Incredible food and the most friendly service!! We went 3 times in a week because we had such a great experience. Really recommend the hamburger and pork dish and the desserts are all really delicious

06/10/2025: We found this place by chance because we were hungry around 3 p.m. on a Monday. That's not easy in this region since everything is closed. It had very good reviews, and rightly so. The pasta was perfect 🤩
03/10/2025: We ate at Anna's twice during our stay in Rivalto. The pizzas were delicious, and the tiramisu is highly recommended!
The atmosphere was great; it's a true local spot, and the decor reflects that, which certainly has its charm. 😊
If we ever return to Rivalto, we'll definitely visit Anna's Bar again!

La Ripadoro Agri Ristorante

29/11/2025: The restaurant is truly charming, with a rural style, offering a tasting menu or à la carte. The €65 Ripadoro menu is a classic, but I found some issues with the food: for the appetizer, all the dishes were already served with a sauce, so I wouldn't have put an enormous amount of mayonnaise in the center of the plate, but rather put it on the side (as is usually served). The suckling pig was rather tough and served with the rind. I ordered a Coke Zero and was brought a local drink, which was already opened, which I unfortunately sent back (it would have been better to ask before opening it if I'd liked something from a different brand). Between the appetizer and the first course, we waited half an hour, but for the rest of the meal, the average wait was 10-15 minutes.

The food was a bit unusual, but nothing special.

01/07/2025: L'esperienza alla Ripadoro è da dimenticare. Posto pretenzioso con prezzi da ristorante stellato, ma le stelle le abbiamo viste solo con il conto. I piatti erano poveri nelle porzioni e pure nel sapore. Due i sapori predominanti: il nulla cosmico e il retrogusto amaro di bruciato. Il servizio è stato inadeguato e quasi inesistente per non parlare della maleducazione del titolare: altezzoso, e pretenzioso ma privo di sostanza proprio come i piatti che propone.

26/04/2025: Mentre scrivo questa recensione, sto mangiando un pezzo di pizza a Volterra: e ho detto tutto. Questo perché le porzioni di questo ristorante sono risicate e il cibo è di mediocre qualità. E io non sono di certo un mangione. Ma perché dovete trattare male i turisti che casualmente entrano nel vostro ristorante? Accanto a noi c’era un tavolo con sei operai con porzioni triple rispetto alle nostre.
Ma entriamo nel dettaglio: mezza insalatina della busta del supermercato , un minuscolo sformatino di verdura ( grandezza di un bancomat per intenderci), risicatissimo piatto di pappardelle con tracce di ragù. Orribili - ma qui siamo sul personale - le tovagliette azzurre (manco fossimo al ristorante “MiraMare”). Bocciatissimo. Mai più
15/11/2024: La cena era abbastanza buona però devo segnalare che mentre cenavamo si è affiancato a noi una famiglia con un grosso cane al guinzaglio e penso che non sia giusto e comunque non igienico che mentre mangi, un cane di fianco a te si scrolla nel tuo cibo quindi consiglio alla titolare, se ritiene di essere una persona intelligente di provvedere a far stare fuori i cani mentre si mangia

03/12/2023: Abbiamo pranzato a La Ripadoro per la seconda volta e non sarà sicuramente l'ultima.
Pranzo stellare ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Perfino migliore della prima volta.
Il posto molto bello, il personale competente e disponibile, il cibo eccellente.
Abbiamo assaporato delle preparazioni dal gusto indimenticabile.
Lo chef sa trasformare materie prime di ottima qualità in dei veri e propri capolavori.
Perfetto nelle porzioni, nel condimento e nella presentazione dei piatti.
Lodevoli anche i dolci. Non per niente e' l'unico ristorante dove prendo il dolce.....

06/08/2023: Nelle campagne Toscane, in un paesino arroccato in collina con neanche cento anime, dopo qualche km di curve a gomito, esiste un ristorante con sale padronali anticamente arredate e terrazza con vista panoramica dove mangiare piatti da chef stellato, sia alla vista che al gusto, ma a prezzi normalissimi? Tutto ottimo dall'entreè al dolce. Tutti i piatti sono curati nei minimi dettagli, sia nella preparazione che nel gusto, sia nella presentazione a partire dalla scelta del piatto alla disposizione del cibo. Sapori amalgamati che non stonano mai. Personale gentile, sorridente e stra disponibile. DA PROVARE!!
