08/08/2026: I came with my parents, receiving a warm welcome from Simone and the staff was like being at home, the dishes are subscriptions and each one better than the last. WE RECOMMEND stopping by and stopping here... many compliments to everyone.

08/08/2026: We spontaneously decided to have lunch there today. The food was delicious, lovingly prepared, and the service was very attentive. A complimentary appetizer and a glass of prosecco were a lovely touch. We immediately made a reservation for dinner. The terrace with its view was also wonderful. We highly recommend it.
04/08/2026: Never again... unless you like a lot of salt! Ordered wild boar and potatoes... Poor.
Instead of tasting the meat, I only tasted salt.
This isn't a good restaurant... I didn't feel comfortable... maybe just the view was nice. I don't recommend it.
If chefs don't know how to prepare wild boar, I invite you to Poland; our cuisine is much tastier in this regard.

07/08/2026: If we hadn't had to wait over 45 minutes for the menu after arriving (we had a reservation), I would have given the service full marks. But we had to wait a very long time both upon arrival and when paying.
Otherwise, the food was very good; my wife had the duck and I had the filet steak with giant porcini mushrooms. The rosé from Bolgheri paired very well with both dishes, better than red wine in the warm weather, and the service was very friendly. The wonderful evening was rounded off with chocolate cake with a soft center and coffee ice cream, as well as pleasantly warm live music. 😋 In our opinion, the value for money is excellent.

02/03/2026: Very nice restaurant, very kind and helpful staff. The food was really good; I was really impressed with the truffle tartare. There are many gluten-free and lactose-free options available, and allergens are clearly marked. The staff also offered us coffee and a liqueur, a truly appreciated gesture.

The guy who answered told me he was serving and didn't have time to be on the phone, practically hanging up on me... truly embarrassingly rude. I wonder if they take reservations via carrier pigeons, perhaps... I called another restaurant a minute later, and they took the reservation without any problem and with the professionalism you'd expect... but apparently, professionalism isn't their thing.

13/05/2026: We ordered the four course tasting menu. It started with 2-3 appetizers, all of which were delicious. My wife is vegetarian and they didn't have that option on the menu for the four course dinner, but the chef Barbara creatively improvised each dish to give my wife the vegetarian version of each course. We were both super happy with the food, the service, the setting and the congeniality of the family who runs this restaurant. We highly recommend it! And we will return for sure.
26/03/2026: Nothing to say. The atmosphere was welcoming, each course was described like poetry, everything was truly delicious.
Congratulations to Barbara and Fabrizio...and to my son, who, by hosting this dinner, introduced us to this truly TOP place.

13/06/2026: Food was excellent, 5 stars; best meal we had. Our waiter was very nice. Sadly, the owners are rude, since we came in nobody said hello or welcomed us into the restaurant. When we wanted to pay we had to stand up to tell them we wanted to pay and they were rude.
Food is amazing and worth it I just wish the owners had some respect for their customers.

It was wonderful to eat with some wild boar and deer around, the tripe and wild boar ragù were excellent.
A large cellar with many excellent Pisan wines.

18/07/2026: A truly excellent experience. We had lunch here and were very pleased with both the food and the service.
We ordered the crispy carasau bread basket, the lasagna, and, for dessert, the Merenda della Nonna. All the dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and made with fresh ingredients. The dessert of warm bread, fior di latte gelato, hazelnuts, and red fruit compote was a particularly pleasant surprise.
The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and quiet, perfect for a relaxing lunch. The staff was kind, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay, without ever being intrusive.
Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, and impeccable service. We will definitely be back.

18/06/2026: One of the more memorable experiences while dining in Italy - apetizers were tasty (Latvians love marinated herring, I never thought it could be made so rich), the main course of beef fillet had a great sauce & crust, and the local wine tied it all together. The location and views are well worth the drive, its cosy, the garden is beautiful and the owner is very hands-on, making it a pleasant and educational experience for the guests. Dont skip this place, imo, the 4.5 is misleading, inherited from the previous owners.
