08/06/2026: We went here to eat because of the many very good reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Anyone who has ever eaten a proper vegan meal (e.g., in a big city) knows that this restaurant can't compete. I had an appetizer that was completely tasteless. The main course was okay, but nothing special. And for that, it was simply too expensive. Yes, they probably use high-quality ingredients, but then they need to season them better. The service was inconsistent. One waiter was overly friendly, while the other had to be reminded that we wanted the menu. If I weren't vegan, I wouldn't eat here.

02/03/2026: Very nice restaurant, very kind and helpful staff. The food was really good; I was really impressed with the truffle tartare. There are many gluten-free and lactose-free options available, and allergens are clearly marked. The staff also offered us coffee and a liqueur, a truly appreciated gesture.

13/06/2026: Food was excellent, 5 stars; best meal we had. Our waiter was very nice. Sadly, the owners are rude, since we came in nobody said hello or welcomed us into the restaurant. When we wanted to pay we had to stand up to tell them we wanted to pay and they were rude. Food is amazing and worth it I just wish the owners had some respect for their customers.

25/06/2026: A great place we visited during our stay in Volterra, where we sampled Tuscan specialties. The dish we ordered, "Il pesce povero," was an interesting combination of fish appetizers and paired well with the Vernaccia di San Gimignano I Mocali Riserva 2022 DOCG white wine. The lampredotto in zimino con bietole in salsa di pomodoro, braised beef stomach served with chard in an aromatic tomato sauce, also made a big impression. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and allowed us to experience the authentic flavors of Tuscany. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

07/07/2026: A very quiet restaurant. We arrived and there was no one there, so there was no wait. The staff is great. You can build your own burger. We ordered the daily specials and we didn't regret it! We were served very quickly. When the restaurant gets busier, it's not unbearable; you can still talk without raising your voice. A nice bonus: homemade fries!

04/07/2026: While I was at the restaurant to pass the time, I read some negative reviews from even 5 years ago. I recommend everyone focus on the good ones because the owners are very kind and helpful, even after hours. They explained to us how to order well, and the food arrived almost immediately. Furthermore, looking at the kitchen, you'll see people who put in the effort and passion, even though they work all day and there are only two of them. The best food I've ever eaten. I recommend it to everyone. ❤❤❤

16/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic! It was a pleasure to eat here in May 2026. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They also went the extra mile for our little daughter, which we greatly appreciated. There was a high chair available as well as a clean changing area, making us feel truly welcome as a family. The food was delicious, and the cozy location in the charming little street completed the experience perfectly. We will definitely be back here again!

06/07/2026: A stunningly beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is perfect. The food is fresh and truly prepared with love. The wines also pair wonderfully with it. I would almost not dare recommend it because I want to keep it to myself. A real 10 out of 10!

05/05/2026: This isn't a review, but a thank you to Dario and Samanta, two unique and rare people. We stayed three nights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the mattress was indescribably comfortable after a day of exploring the area. We decided to have dinner there every night... the pici, the Florentine steak, the burrata-filled sweets, the platters... not to mention their homemade tarts and tiramisu, so delicious that they express all the passion of a couple who put their heart into what they do. Thank you for letting us spend four days with smiles. The laughter we shared as if we were old friends will stay with me until the next time, and I hope very soon that we'll be back... because we definitely will, your sacrifices leave a lasting impression. We love you guys, and see you next time.

30/04/2026: We stayed there for 3 nights, but unfortunately we had some problems with the room. The fan in the next room or in the kitchen was making a crazy noise. It was partly resolved, partly not. One day, we left in the morning and returned late at night to find the door to the room open. I asked for information, and the gentleman who had been in the attic told me that the TVs were broken and they had been left unlocked. With the entrance doors to the rooms always open day and night, they didn't have the key. The gate to the building was also always open, and on the floor we found everything that had fallen through the hatch in the ceiling. Breakfast was good, the croissants. We asked if we could have savory food... yes, but the lady was very annoyed and she didn't know how to make scrambled eggs. 🤷‍♀️ Very convenient location for reaching Volterra, San Gimignano, and the surrounding areas. Outside, the garden was a real mess. It's a shame because I had read good reviews.

08/06/2026: We had a wonderful evening at Trattotia. The restaurant is situated on a small hill within a small village. The ambiance is wonderful, typically Italian. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced!
