18/02/2026: The GPS led us to a dead end, but thanks to our intuition, we found the right path. It seemed like the right path, but the GPS was still deceiving us! Anyway, after various twists and turns in the shopping labyrinth of Aurelia Antica, we finally found it. Right away, "two places table." Right away, the menu... wow, paper! Inside a QR code... nothing less than the same menu, but on your phone. So, to make sure you don't forget, use your fingers as bookmarks or screenshots of the dish. Order five courses for each serving. Guess what, the special of specials... SHRIMP, MUSHROOMS, AND BAMBOO, and wonder of wonders, for lunch, tuna sashimi. The quality was almost impeccable, except for the fried chicken, which seemed to have been made with chainsaw oil. Anyway, let's say it could compete for a spot on the podium of the top three sushi bars in Grosseto. Our tour will continue with new reviews. See you later 😎

15/01/2026: All you can eat oriental food of good quality and good menu...for dinner the menu is expanded.

01/01/2026: We had dinner on December 31st: the place was so cold, some of us even had to wear coats. The food was poor quality, and the fish was frozen. The price/quality ratio was questionable. The only redeeming feature was the very helpful and welcoming waitress.

28/12/2025: We stopped at this restaurant because many were closed and the ones that were open were full. Spaghetti allo scoglio with all the fish frozen, the same thing with the fried food, not only frozen but the shrimp cooked on the outside but raw on the inside, probably because they fried them without thawing. In short, the only truly cool thing was the dining room, heated only by two small electric heaters—the kind you use to heat your bathroom at home in the morning—drafts everywhere. An experience to forget!!!!

28/12/2025: This was my first time eating here, and it was a great experience. The food was good and remarkably light. The service was as it should be, friendly and efficient. Not to mention they even offered us a Nutella pinsa. A good place for a quiet evening.

26/10/2025: Bad experience...they write a lot and present very little...not to mention the price and the dishes... I had a first course with sausage and polenta...they served two slices of frozen polenta with a grilled sausage on the side...a slice of meat that was as long as three fingers...never again!

09/10/2025: We've been coming to this hotel for fifteen years, and we always feel at home. The hotel is very charming, super clean, and meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. Luisa's cooking is always amazing, as is Claudio's friendliness. The staff is very serious, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well and relax. The reception was recently renovated, and an elevator will soon be installed to accommodate older guests.

12/01/2026: Excellent grilled meats, tagliata, and ribs. Traditional Tuscan first courses, pici and ribollita. Good value for money, good and friendly service. On the road to Volterra from Massa Marittima, 8 km before Volterra. Nice, welcoming place.

02/11/2025: We had breakfast and dinner here every day during our stay. I can't understand the bad reviews from the complaining German tourists. I had the Florentine, tuna pizza, and wild boar ragout. Everything was excellent. The owners were incredibly friendly and chatted with us for a while. They even gave us a parting gift because we'd been there every day. You reap what you sow. If you behave well, you'll be treated accordingly.

02/08/2025: Locale molto ampio, era sabato sera e quindi molto frequentato.Sorvolo sulla cameriera che ci ha lanciato il menu' ,perché il cameriere giovane ci ha serviti e coccolati per tutta la serata.Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti misti di salumi e bruschette, 1 primo di pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale buonissimi e un filetto di qualità eccellente; 1 porzione di patate al forno (nella media) e 2 tiramisù squisiti.C'è un camino dove si preparano bistecche e carni alla brace.Il servizio velocissimo.Ci tornerei.Consigliato.

24/07/2025: Buona cucina locale con una vista che vale il viaggio (consigliato prenotare il tavolo sulla terrazza panoramica). Buono anche il servizio e prezzi più che onesti.

20/09/2025: We've been coming on vacation to this wonderful place, Castiglione della Pescaia, for six years now. Every year, we often get takeout pizza from Tante Cose. The owners are incredibly kind, the pizzas are fantastic, and the homemade tiramisu is truly superb. As long as we continue to come on vacation here, Tante Cose will be our regular stop.

30/10/2025: They've lost their stars along the way, going from being considered one of the best to one of the worst overall. The sandwich is extremely small, and the dish doesn't come with bread and chips like on the menu. I'll make a good-bye crocce.

30/09/2025: We stopped by this charming restaurant by chance. We were intrigued by the menu. Delicious, authentic cuisine, just like home. It's a family-run business that adds something extra. We'll definitely be revisiting. The chef's friendliness and helpfulness are beyond description.

18/09/2025: Overall, good, very good. Value for money. The service was sublime, the staff excellent. A bit neglected in the common areas, something to keep in mind for a 4-star hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. We spent three very comfortable days. (Something I hate, double beds that are actually two beds, happens in more places) The hotel kitchen, recommended, the breakfast complete and abundant. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the pool. Overall, good, with minor issues to be corrected, worthy of a 4-star hotel. Recommended.

06/09/2025: We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. The room cleanliness needs updating. The location is decent for visiting the tourist attractions. The pool is clean and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly.

20/08/2025: We had dinner one evening, but I don't think we'll be back for long given the quality of the food. The cut of meat was very tough and cooked incorrectly, the meat tartare with non-existent sweet and sour onions, and the pappardelle with rabbit ragù were almost decent. It's a shame they tasted like broth and apple pie, which in my opinion is unpresentable in a restaurant like this.

08/08/2025: If you're in a hurry, avoid the place; the service is slow. If you're hungry, avoid the place. The portions are really small. On the plus side, the meat is very tender.

28/09/2025: We visited the restaurant one evening and were initially very impressed. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service friendly and attentive, and we also enjoyed the food. Up to this point, a thoroughly positive experience. Unfortunately, however, there was an incident that dampened the overall impression: A very drunk guest with his unleashed fighting dog disturbed other patrons for an extended period. He staggered through the restaurant, bothering guests, and eventually even lay between the tables. This was very unpleasant for everyone present. Even more disappointing, however, was the staff's half-hearted response and lacked any real action. Especially in a situation like this, I would have hoped that those in charge would have intervened decisively to ensure the other guests had an undisturbed and pleasant stay. Unfortunately, the evening ended with a very unpleasant aftertaste for us, which significantly diminished the positive overall impression.

15/09/2025: We are here at the campsite, the other evening two exquisite pizzas, last night a supersonic seafood carbonara and a land one. Fast service, very kind waiters, reasonable price, generous portions... TOP👍👍👍
