02/09/2025: Super delicious pizza, and the appetizers are also worth mentioning: fried vegetables, mozzarella, olives, and so on! Truly delicious, highly recommended. The tables and seating aren't luxurious, but they're adequate. After placing your order at the counter, you'll be called as soon as your food is ready—everything has always worked smoothly. Highly recommended!

15/10/2025: We spent eight days in a stylishly located hotel, set atop a mountain in a charming historic town. The view from the hotel and the well-kept garden with pool is impressive and inviting. The restaurant also offers a wonderful panoramic view. The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating – we received a warm welcome. Our room was quiet and had a balcony. However, at approximately 12 square meters, it was quite small, as was the bathroom. For guests who need more space, we recommend booking a larger room. The parking lot is about 300 meters from the hotel. We booked half board. Dinner consisted of a set menu with two choices per course (starter, main course, dessert). Unfortunately, the dishes were repetitive during our stay, which was disappointing given the diversity of Italian cuisine. For future stays, we would forgo half board and instead take advantage of the culinary offerings in the surrounding towns. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations and differed significantly from the images on booking platforms. The buffet was very simple: mostly baguettes from the day before, fresh croissants, one type of sausage, and one type of cheese – with no variation throughout the week. This somewhat tarnished the otherwise positive overall impression. Overall, the hotel offers a fantastic location and a pleasant ambiance, but there is room for improvement in the dining area.

14/10/2025: We ate at the Hotel Vatluna in Ventulonia with our family – and it was a truly lovely evening overall! 🍷 The ambiance is exceptional: a stunning view, especially from the rooftop terrace, and a wonderfully relaxed place to end the evening with good food and wine. The cuisine is authentic, fresh, and high-quality – all the dishes served at the table were excellently prepared and lovingly presented. Only my own piece of meat (a large 1.2 kg piece on the bone) was a bit fatty – it was the last piece, so this can happen. The kitchen staff were charming and accommodating, offering a bottle of red wine on the house, which quickly made us forget this minor disappointment. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with heart, atmosphere, and flavor – we'd love to come back!

28/07/2025: Bar Sport Semproniano is cute and welcoming, and the owners, Miranda, Alberto, and Stefano, are wonderful. They offer a wide selection of appetizers and platters, perfect for a quick stop or for lunch, dinner, or a snack. I highly recommend it; don't forget to stop by if you're passing through. I was a customer there this weekend, too, and I have to reiterate my positive opinion. Well done Miranda, Alberto, Stefano, and Alessia, keep up the good work. 😉👍🏻😎😋😋😋

16/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena ieri sera in questo ristorante nel centro storico di Montemerano e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole, sotto ogni punto di vista. La terrazza si affaccia direttamente sulla campagna toscana e regala una vista spettacolare, soprattutto al tramonto. Un’atmosfera che da sola varrebbe la visita. Abbiamo iniziato con degli antipasti davvero gustosi, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi. Ciaffagnone con pecorino e miele, panzanella al pomodoro, crostini toscani.. una vera delizia! I primi e i secondi non sono stati da meno: piatti ben pensati, con sapori autentici e porzioni giuste. E per finire, i dolci... Un grazie particolare al cameriere che ci ha seguiti per tutta la sera: gentile, attento e sempre pronto a dare ottimi consigli. Il conto è stato corretto e pienamente in linea con la qualità dell’esperienza. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una cena speciale, con cucina di qualità e una vista che lascia il segno.

25/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto fortemente consigliato dall’host della struttura dove siamo ospiti. All’arrivo al tramonto questo posto appare magico, una cartolina! Tavoli apparecchiati alla buona sotto i grandi alberi a fianco dell’azienda agricola. La grande griglia era già pronta per essere utilizzata. La carne speciale, tutta di gran qualità! Anche le verdure di accompagnamento all’antipasto una goduria! Il personale gentilissimo e simpatico! Sicuramente una delle esperienze culinarie migliori in assoluto!

12/10/2025: Lovely hotel right on the sea with private beach areas. Good value evening meal and wine. Rooms very clean and very comfortable bed, but no balcony. Very small shower cubicle !Definitely will return.

30/09/2025: We spent one night at this hotel. Everything was perfect: the location, rooms, beds, sheets, sea view, and peace. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful. We'll definitely be back! The only downside, perhaps, was the beach. It's on a rock and not suitable for non-swimmers or children.

30/08/2025: Strategically located for exploring all the Maremma attractions. It's worth noting that it's just 5 minutes from the shopping center (very useful). The property is clean and tidy, with a pool and indoor parking. The apartments are simply stunning, fully furnished (even kitchenware). Each apartment has its own outdoor area. The owner, Dalida, is incredibly kind, polite, and always available with a smile. We'll definitely be back.

26/09/2025: I should start by saying that no business in Grosseto prohibits dogs. This morning, I came in with my wife and our dog on a leash; the owner spent a quarter of an hour explaining to me why she no longer allows dogs in her establishment. However, she allowed us to drink coffee at the counter, without stopping at the tables. We paid for our coffees in advance and approached the counter, where the barista brusquely asked us to leave. At this point, we gave up drinking our coffee, handing the receipt to the owner and telling her to keep the money as a tip and as a deposit for the dog insurance. This pastry shop will obviously never see me again, even without my dog. However, I read that displaying a sign prohibiting dogs is only valid if the owner notifies the mayor in writing, and must provide a designated area for the dog to leave, other than the usual hook hanging on the wall. I'll have to find another pastry shop for my next birthday cake 😂

31/08/2025: A negative experience to say the least. The place was very nice, but it was incredible that, on an already sparse menu, most of the dishes we chose were no longer available. The appetizers were decent, but the entrees were tragic. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù was actually tagliatelle, overcooked, and served with stew rather than ragù; tagliolini with truffle, with the most flavorless truffle I've ever eaten. Slow service, dishes brought in batches; an experience not to be repeated.

30/08/2025: An osteria that aims to combine Maremma cuisine with Argentario seafood. It doesn't succeed in either. The charcuterie board is unremarkable; good but not refined. The sliced ​​steak was tough and flavorless, despite being rare. The grilled calamari...to be forgotten; it's obviously a frozen product served as if it were fresh. A real shame, because the service was good and all the ingredients for a good osteria were there...
