22/08/2024: Very suggestive location, right on the port quay at the end of the walk. My son and I had a simple pasta with clams, very good, and my husband had a second course, seared tuna with baked potatoes, also very good. The only flaw is that it couldn't be taken as a single dish, it was a little small in quantity (if the waiter had warned us when ordering perhaps we would have taken an appetizer in addition to the tuna). I highly recommend the restaurant! The wine is also excellent!!

Dazu ein großes Glas weisswein zu einem absolut günstigen Preis (Wein war hervorragend). netter Aussensitzplatz und wieder ein Stück Italien das uns im Gedächtnis bleiben wird.

Not writing the review being guided by frustration or enthusiasm should be the rule, obviously for me too. If I had written immediately after the Cambusa experience I probably would have used other words. My experience: we went as a couple to canare, I ordered a delicious marinated fish dish, my wife ordered maccheroncini with mantis shrimp. The staff proved to be very kind and helpful, my wife is allergic to milk and when ordering the waiter proposed the macaroni dish without cream, a proposal that is offered in few restaurants. When my wife tasted it she felt a particular flavor and the pasta was a little too hard, not definable al dente but too hard. He continued to eat but the more he went on the more he felt this strange taste. The mantis shrimp had gone bad. The waitress to whom we exposed the matter replies that she knows, adding brief information. It is not correct to present a dish that has gone bad, it is not a question of mistakenly dirty cutlery or an unmotivated waiter, we are talking about edible food. I hope the owner(s) ask themselves questions about the purpose of the restaurant.

29/07/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante in seconda serata, visto che prima era tutto pieno. Bella la location, pietanze decenti, servizio scadente.

27/07/2024: Siamo andati in questo ristorante attratti dalle ottime recensioni, ne siamo usciti un po delusi. Abbiamo preso due primi e una frittura. I ravioli con pesce spada molto buoni, i tagliolini con colatura di alici poco saporiti, sulla frittura proprio non ci siamo invece, zero croccantezza e zuppa di olio.

10/02/2024: This evening I ordered for the first time, needless to say it won't happen again. Pizza with prawns and courgettes unacceptable, seasoning absent and of poor quality. Pizza diavola... in short, a flatbread drowned in tomato sauce, nothing more. Pizza with lard and tomatoes, passable. Mixed calzone...not received at first, calling the place they explained to me that it had been delivered to another customer. Price for the products…obviously much above what the products offered are. I always like to give a chance to places I don't know, sometimes it goes well or as in this case it goes bad. At least the owner was friendly and polite in handling the delays and other delivery issues and I hope he can provide better service over time. I will be happy to try again if the service improves.
