10/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant on New Year's Day. We arrived for lunch around 1pm. The room was very corporate and customer-oriented. Excellent service. The owner served us and honored us, apologizing a thousand times for the kitchen's delay. When we entered through the window, you could see the chef smoking a cigarette in the kitchen... and this already affected us a bit... unfortunately, the kitchen was a bit late for an appetizer and two first courses. All in all, everything was good... but for a place like this, I expected much more.

04/01/2026: We chose this restaurant mainly because it was the only one in the area that allowed us to park our camper. Once inside, we were welcomed into a very elegant and characteristic setting, with a very extensive menu. The prices seemed high, but considering the quality and portions, we had to change our minds! We had two really good and generous fish appetizers (seafood salad and a mussel soup), two fish-based first courses, both excellent. My pappardelle was loaded with shellfish, shrimp, prawns, and mussels, practically a fish soup! If we're in the area, we'll definitely return. Recommended also for the parking, which is uncommon in the area. Attentive and friendly service.

19/09/2025: Osteria dell'Orologio is located under the portico of the clock tower. The service is prompt, attentive, and very friendly. The dishes are simple but perfectly prepared and therefore delicious (we had, among other things, fritto misto). Highly recommended!

11/09/2025: A good restaurant in the center of Orbetello. However, the ambiance leaves much to be desired. The menu should be a selling point for the establishment, but unfortunately, it isn't. Worn and tattered are polite descriptions. Nevertheless, the food is good, and the service is attentive.

29/10/2025: We drove there in the morning and reserved a table for 12 noon. We arrived at 11:45 a.m. The restaurant was open, the music was playing, and a woman was there who said it wouldn't open until 12 noon and that we could sit in the garden to wait. We went for a walk and returned at 11:55 a.m. We sat down and waited. At 12 noon, we wanted to go into the restaurant, but it was closed. We knocked and waited another 5 minutes, but no one was there. So we left. Since the website stated that it was open continuously from 12 noon to 11 p.m., we drove back at 4:30 p.m., but it was closed. The restaurant looks nice, but there's no food. The access road to the restaurant is terrible; even driving at a walking pace will damage your car. Therefore, absolutely not recommended!!!

17/08/2025: You have to be incredibly patient for a first course that lasted over an hour and a half, sitting at a table between 8:45 and 10:15 PM, then for the second course after 10 minutes, we hadn't even finished the first course. I won't comment on the food because I was so annoyed I didn't even feel like eating. I would have left, but out of respect for others, I stayed seated. In the end, not even an explanation was given; in fact, I was wrong. Anyway, the girl at the tables was very kind and sweet, and you could tell she was having trouble. Nice and clean place, but the wait times were excessively long. No more than 5/6 tables in the dining room. Negative experience.

24/02/2026: Opening weekend, busy and vibrant. So busy that the service was a bit "slow" but we totally understand! And we will be back! Because we want to eat everything on the menu. Ci vediamo!

22/02/2026: A terrible impression! We were there at the end of February, on a sunny day. It would have been a perfect day for the guests and the restaurant owner, but unfortunately the restaurant decided to fill the place to capacity (there must have been 50 seats outside) with only two panicked waiters. They never came to our table, ignoring us when we called them. We ordered a wine and it took them 20 minutes to tell us it wasn't available. We ordered a dish with truffles and it arrived without truffles without even notifying us. When we checked, the owners didn't show up and had a waiter do the bill for us without even the slightest apology for the terrible service.

15/02/2026: Excellent food, exquisite pizza with quality ingredients. The staff was competent, but they asked us to leave the table while we were still eating dessert, at 10:05 PM, because other people were waiting for dinner. The tables were too narrow, so we couldn't get up from our chairs.

18/08/2025: Too bad I can't give it 0 stars. The pizza was awful, probably frozen and low quality. Terrible service: the waitress even made rude jokes in front of my dad. Refine your opinion.

20/07/2025: I stopped in for the first time years ago for no real reason. Since then, it's been a regular stop (even today) on the road between Pisa and Rome. Superb pizza, friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a vintage 1980s atmosphere (like all of Orbetello, after all) that I personally find very pleasant. Recommended.

09/03/2026: The evening featured live music that made dinner a nightmare. The volume was so loud we couldn't even talk to the person sitting next to us. They made us take our orders with a notebook. When we asked for the bill, we had to haggle like we'd never bargained at a fresh fish market, as if prices weren't on the menu, because they wanted to overcharge us by €200 for a table of about 30 people. Terrible.

04/12/2025: Thanks, Da Luisa! We spent a very pleasant hour and a half here. The lady at the counter was very kind; I could tell she accommodated our every request. The service was perfect!

01/11/2025: We decided to grab something quick and unfussy after a dip at the Terme di Saturnia. What was supposed to be a quick and simple snack turned into an interminable wait (over an hour), with customers arriving long after us and being served before us. After an exaggerated wait, I go to ask if everything's okay and how long until our order will be ready (two burgers, a charcuterie board, and a mixed fried fish), to which they tell me that "burgers take time." Guys, I work in the industry too, and there's no way two burgers could take more than an hour. Tell me you're wrong, that there was a problem, anything, but not that. We decide to give them a little more time (in the meantime, they could have at least brought us the board), and after another 20 minutes and with my patience at the limit, I see a waiter bringing several dishes to a table that had arrived at least 40 minutes after us. I couldn't resist, so I went inside, politely paid for the drinks we'd consumed while waiting (which I supposedly wanted to consume with the food), and left after an hour and a half of wasting away. The excuse I believe the owner gave was that "they all arrived at once." No excuses or anything else, just that. And when we arrived (and ordered), there were roughly two tables for two. In the end, since it was too late, we didn't find any restaurants open, and we reluctantly had to skip lunch despite how hungry we were. A terrible place to avoid. The only positive note was the waiter with glasses, whose name I don't know, but who really tried his best to make the wait as pleasant as possible and to accommodate us. I send him my thanks.

14/07/2025: Along the Aurelia. Despite the less than ideal location, the rooms are quiet. Cleanliness and amenities are good. The only drawback is the uncomfortable mattress. They offer a good breakfast with sweet treats and savory options upon request. The rooms have a refrigerator and mosquito nets. The price is excellent for the area and its proximity to the seaside. However, you'll need a car to get around.

29/08/2025: A restaurant in the center of Porto Santo Stefano with a beautiful view of the pier; fast and efficient service. Excellent variety of pizza flavors. The pizza is thin and well-cooked. We recommend ordering the pizza because there isn't much choice of other dishes.

06/10/2025: Incredibly friendly. The portions are very generous (twice the usual in Italy). And the taste is delicious. The view is gorgeous. A must!

28/08/2025: An experience I definitely won't repeat!! €100 spent in the absolute worst way!! Bland appetizers, unclassifiable first courses, penne with scampi cream (a cream that actually made from 1/2 liter of cream?!?) with a scampi hidden at the bottom of a 400g plate of penne and shrimp. Spaghetti with crabmeat, undercooked and with a flavor reminiscent of pre-cooked sauces from discount stores. I was hoping to finish on a high note with fried shrimp and calamari, but unfortunately it turned out to be quite disappointing: limp, full of oil, and the shrimp definitely had a strange flavor. Alas, in a place as beautiful as Porto Ercole, I wasn't expecting a restaurant like this; it deserves better.
