Golosofia Di Volpini Claudia In Sorano

Every time my partner and I come to Maremma, we have at least one aperitivo at Golosofia. The owners are kind and welcoming; they personally try and select all the products in their wine shop. All are Tuscan, especially from the Maremma. Yesterday, in addition to two glasses of wine, we also ordered a platter of game cured meats. Everything was excellent. And at a great price. We highly recommend it, not only for the quality but also for the splendid view of Sovana's main square.

A must-see, excellent local products, served with passion and knowledge. Wonderful!

Beautiful and welcoming place with kind managers, there were 3 of us and we took different platters and they were something impeccable both in quality and quantity recommended and as far as we are concerned we will return perhaps in the cold season so as to perhaps increase the delicacies to eat

While visiting the small village of Sovano, we opted for a savory breakfast at the Golosofia wine shop. They offer carefully prepared sandwiches with high-quality cured meats. The owners are incredibly kind. The place is small, intimate, welcoming, and immaculately clean. Highly recommended!

Every time I return to Sovana, I'll stop by and visit these two gentlemen: kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Great connoisseurs of local products, they served us a superb Ansonica with exceptional local cheeses. Our two dogs were also warmly welcomed, with bowls of fresh water. A small shop offering great local treasures, selected with great care and passion. The difference, in any case, is always their great humanity and willingness to share experiences and personal stories. A truly wonderful experience.

Grocery/tavern...friendly service. The prices are high, but justified by the local, quality products. As for the tavern, it's top: I think the game cured meat platter is the best I've ever had!!! Clean bathroom!! Coffee is best at one of the many nearby cafes.
