I booked by chance, partly based on the reviews, staying here in Porto Santo Stefano. And it exceeded my expectations. VERY GOOD FRESH FISH. EXCELLENT WINE LIST. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU WANT TO EAT AND DRINK WELL. 😋

Truly excellent food and service. The owner personally came to take our orders and explain each dish: a level of care that is evident in the food. The pacchero al tramaglio—pasta with fish pulp—is the best seafood pasta dish I've ever tasted: excellent ingredients, perfect balance, and a clean and direct seafood flavor. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable. If you're passing through Argentario and want to eat fish prepared properly, this is the place. We'll definitely be back.

We had a truly excellent experience! The freshness of the raw fish is evident from the first bite: top-quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and impeccable preparation. The baked fish was also delicious, cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always attentive. Impeccable service and a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who loves good fish!

I ate at a restaurant in Porto Santo Stefano, which, unlike the images on the website, isn't located on the seafront. I was left wondering if there were more options. As soon as we arrived, they kindly let us choose a table, but shortly afterward asked us to move because some people who had previously cancelled had arrived. After being moved, we ordered, and shortly thereafter, our dishes arrived. The food was good; the only problem was finding a piece of presumably soft plastic on our plate. Knowing that these mistakes are understandable, after reporting the problem to a waiter, I expected an apology or at least an explanation. Receiving no clarification, we decided to call it a night and went to the cashier, where we were presented with the full bill. I don't know if it was because of the kindness shown, my young age (25), or both. I was disappointed by the lack of explanation, not by what happened, and for now, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to family or friends.

We had dinner at Il Veliero Restaurant and had a truly wonderful time. The fish was incredibly fresh and everything was excellent, from the starters to the main courses. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. A special thanks to Vincenzo and Nicola for their kindness and helpfulness: they made us feel welcomed from the very first moment. If you're passing through Porto Santo Stefano and want to eat excellent fish, we highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!

Very nice little restaurant, delicious seafood, a place worthy of more than five stars. I want to thank all the staff because I felt ill halfway through dinner, and everyone made sure I was comfortable and safe in the cool air. I'd give it five stars for that alone. Highly recommended, both for the good food and for the hospitality and care of all the staff.

A place with a nice view. We had just come to Veliero from a place that didn't look that nice and good and since we were traveling and wanted to have a good experience even if the price was a little higher, we decided to visit them and there is nothing bad to say about the food. Everything was delicious. However, the waiters looked tired or maybe we were just not that welcome there, since the break was coming soon, so that the place would reopen later.

If there were a 10-star option, I would have given it all!!! The food was sublime, delicate, and unique. The staff was super attentive to every detail, very friendly and professional. A truly wonderful dinner! Thank you. Elisa and Gianluca from Rome
