Pizzeria Da Emy In Grosseto

Wow, we arrived half an hour after opening and were told in a really friendly tone that it would take a little while as the pizza oven was still preheating. Of course that wasn't a problem, we weren't that hungry yet. The children were busy with their art supplies. We were allowed to take the dog with us. When ordering food, we had a few surprises: they didn't have all the pizzas on the menu because they had run out of one or more ingredients. The same thing happened with the pasta. There were only 3 out of about 8 varieties available. But... when we decided on spaghetti, the chef came over with 2 types of spaghetti, practically as a sample, to show us which one we wanted! The whole visit was so friendly and welcoming that even months later we still like to talk about it. Most importantly, the food tasted fantastic!!!

An unassuming pizzeria in Marina di Grosetto with excellent pizza. Truly fantastic. The ambiance is a bit simple, but if you want a good pizza at a reasonable price and can do without the frills, this is the place for you.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. A small, family-run establishment that offers a true Italian experience without the usual tourist trappings. The service is fast and friendly, and the prices are almost half what we're used to. The only downside was the mosquitoes, which prevented us from enjoying the evening in peace.
