Two years ago, this restaurant had pleasantly surprised me, and while passing through Saturnia, I decided to try it again. The first sign that something had changed came on the stairs: four tasting menus, nothing à la carte. I was the only one dining on Saturday night; two other couples arrived shortly afterward, but they didn't appreciate the offerings. Having not thought of a plan B, I decided to take a risk and chose the fine meats menu. Everything was good, but I would never have chosen the pigeon, which unfortunately wasn't substitutable. The pappardelle with ragù was very good, but the tiramisu (also mandatory) was less so, as it was too greasy. So, I ate quite well, not what I wanted, but I'm not sure if the tasting menu will be a winning choice. Perhaps the change in offerings should have been highlighted on the website.

Excellent location, rather homey from the outside, but inside it reveals a luxurious and romantic setting.
Typical Tuscan cuisine, excellent pappardelle with wild boar and sausage. Very professional and fast table service.

Had an otherwise lovely dinner soured by the behavior of other patrons. The table near us had a child with them that they allowed to watch Bluey (a child's tv show that has a lot of sound effects) out loud while they were there. The location is small, intimate, and cozy so this was very distracting, annoying, and really took away from the ambiance of our romantic dinner. We asked our waiter if they could request the child put in headphones or turn it off. The table apologized to the waiter but did not make the child put in headphones or turn off the show. No respect for other patrons or the wait staff who tried to stop this. So for about 1.5 of our 2 hours there we were forced to listen to it. Unacceptable behavior that should not be tolerated, especially at a fine dining restaurant.
Outside of that, the local wines were fantastic and the ravioli was amazing. The ravioli portion was small though (4 ravioli). The wild boar parpadelle was alright but I was expecting more to the sauce or at least some freshly grated parmesan on top, it wasn't much more than minced meat and noodles. But it was a better portion size than the ravioli. Additionally, the noodles were overcooked and not al dente. They were so overcooked they fell apart when you picked them up. We also ordered a second course. The guinea fowl with gravy had rich flavor but was dry. The gravy made it easier to eat. The potatoes were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Service was good. Just disappointed in this experience at the price point.

On our way back from the Saturnia thermal baths, we stopped for a quick lunch. The atmosphere was elegant (except for the downstairs entrance) and the staff were friendly. The food was good; we tried three different, very tasty starters. The cover charge (€6 per person) and dessert (€11) were outrageous.

Last night we had dinner at this wonderful place. The service was impeccable thanks to the waiters Amen and Lino, who treated us wonderfully and explained every dish in detail.
The food is truly exquisite, I recommend it to anyone visiting Saturnia. We'll definitely be back!

A welcoming and intimate restaurant located at the entrance to the city. The menu offers a wide selection of typical Tuscan products, and the taste is truly exquisite. The service could use some improvement, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

The quality, quantity, and price are highly questionable: €6 for a cover charge, and portions that look like they're from a Michelin-starred menu, but aren't... not up to par for the €70 per person price tag, and the coffee pods are truly terrible! There are much better options...
