09/11/2025: A lovely place that looks like it was originally a fishmonger's shop, but that's not the case. It's well-kept, welcoming, and run by friendly staff. There were two of us, and the four dishes we ordered were all delightfully tasty. Thank you.

03/09/2025: Montereggi was beautiful with the most amazing family running the villa. We stayed here 4 nights and had a beautiful time at the pool which has amazing views from the bill at the top of the property and the restaurant was equally spectacular with delicious food and wine. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. There is a bus stop right at the end lf the driveway for bus 21 that goes into Florence which was super convenient as we didn’t have a car. There is also a supermarket and a little cafe within walking distance. I would recommend this stay to all family and friends 10/10!

01/11/2025: Unfortunately, I've only tried the hotel restaurant, which serves excellent traditional Tuscan cuisine! Service is fairly quick (depending on the day and time) and the staff are very kind, helpful, and approachable.

27/10/2025: A very characteristic restaurant in Sant'Ambrogio, serving traditional cuisine, excellent in its simplicity. What makes the difference is the warm welcome and the atmosphere created by the owner. Signora Gilda, elegant and refined, manages to put you at ease and make you feel at home even though you're far from home. A must-visit in Florence, I recommend it 100%. P.S. The tagliatelle are amazing.

06/11/2025: Lunch with my wife. We found a charming and intimate place. The setting was simple (3 stars). The service was very friendly and attentive (4 stars). We ordered pasta with paté and provola. Very good, although the pasta was overcooked. The fried food could be better presented. I expected more variety, but the price was generous (€6). I recommend adding to it, even if it's higher. The frying oil was barely usable. The Pulpititiello affogato was tasty even though it wasn't freshly made. The scialatielli raised the bar a bit (from 2 to 3 stars). The pasta was cooked perfectly, and even the cherry tomatoes and lobster sauce tasted freshly sautéed. The wine, chosen on recommendation, was average. I found the bill a little high for the quality of the food. P.S. For the manager: Campanian cuisine is undoubtedly among the most popular in Italy. Choosing traditional dishes with consistently fresh ingredients will make all the difference.

12/10/2025: Hi, I ordered some take-out pizzas. They were very small, and the mozzarella wasn't mozzarella at all, but more of a stringy cheese. The dough, on the other hand, had no taste whatsoever, it was flavorless.

17/10/2025: A classic pub, unfortunately not my cup of tea. Too chaotic. Good beer.

10/10/2025: The pub is warm, welcoming, and conveniently located. For sports fans, it's a convenient place to watch international football matches. Their beer selection is vast and will satisfy a wide range of palates. The cuisine is simple but tasty. The burgers and fried foods are the mainstays. I recommend it.

31/10/2025: The rooms and service at this hotel are great. We booked a room with a balcony facing the Arno River and loved just drinking wine and taking in the view from the room. The interior felt like a classical royal residence, decorated with large art pieces that really immersed us into the culture. It’s also a convenient walk to everything, as well as getting to and from the train station. We didn’t make too much use of the concierge but the staff was very welcoming and helpful, probably the nicest of any hotel we stayed during this trip to Italy. They lent us 2 umbrellas on the one day that it rained.

My latest purchase was a trio of pecorino, chili pepper, pepper, and truffle, and a finocchiona, and it was further confirmation of the quality and freshness of the products. Home delivery is very convenient, considering we're over 100 km away! I highly recommend them for quality, professionalism, and good prices. 👍

01/10/2025: Two of us arrived without a reservation, but luckily there was a table available. The wait was two people, one very friendly, the other less so. The drinks came quickly, and we waited about 30 minutes for the appetizer. The pizza didn't arrive until about 90 minutes after the appetizer, which we really didn't expect, and our hunger grew accordingly. The pizza unfortunately had a bit too much cheese, but overall it was okay. Unfortunately, the wait was far too long, especially since the tables next door got their food much earlier.

14/10/2025: Signore Lily was very helpful and friendly. The place was like a hidden gem in the crowded place of shopping street in Florence. Great to find this place. No worries, all staffs are speaking English and full of hospitality. Even I don't ask for taking away my food, she offered me to do that. Best signore Lily. Gratzie

02/09/2025: I loved this place. The host was absolutely amazing. Food was great, and the atmosphere was on point. They took me in, opened the kitchen and cooked a lovely dinner just for me. The wine was delicious and the meat was cooked to perfection. (This was the smallest steak they had) I would recommend this place to anyone who would ask.
