Your stay at the Westin Excelsior you realize why this becomes your home away from home, as it has been mine and my family’s now for several years. The positive attributes to this hotel are endless. However, let’s focus on the key elements that one would look for when staying at a five-star establishment. The Westin Excelsior provides all the key elements one is looking for to include clean, renovated, well appointed, oversize hotel rooms with proper air conditioning, ventilation, a staff, all around that is completely professional, and will respect all of your concerns and wishes, a fantastic location to everything, and of course, the only hotel in Florence with a penthouse bar overlooking this historic monumental city I do want to point out that the front desk behind the scenes individuals will do whatever is possible to help accommodate your needs, for us it was adjoining hotel rooms. Then there is the most dynamic group of concierge professionals you will find in Florence, who not only have a pulse on everything and anything you need, but happen to be a group of gentlemen that you enjoy their company just sitting and talking about life, as I so thoroughly enjoyed every single day of my trip Bottom line… The Westin Excelsior is indeed a 5+ star hotel that I hate to admit it, has no faults To all my friends and family at the Westin Excelsior have a happy healthy and safe new year and, we look forward to seeing you again same time next year till then, Chin-chin La Familia!!
