16/06/2025: we came here because it's next to the rented apartment. Even if it's slightly more expensive than the average Florentine one decides to go in. And it's done very well because the level of the ingredients is very high. Everything is good starting from the bread. Excellent crostini and extraordinary liver paté! Then we move on to the tagliata: mine, even if too short, compared to those of my colleagues, is forgiven for the quality. But the most INCREDIBLE thing are the french fries: I haven't eaten something like that for a long time! And then they give you a knife that is straight and not serrated for the meat. Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: Excellent! We stayed at the hotel in the same location and wanted to try this restaurant. What a joy! Excellent cuisine and typical of the region, idyllic setting with panoramic views of the city while being peaceful, and really very pleasant, welcoming staff, we were even offered limoncello for dessert. We really had a great time, thank you again to the whole team and our server!

03/04/2025: Frequentiamo spesso la Birroteca perché oltre alla vasta scelta di birre c'è sempre qualche gruppo che suona. Stavolta però si sono superati: beer-aperitivo per le nostre nozze! Birra, spritz e prosecco in un ambiente informale, come sentirsi a casa con amici. Proprietari sempre simpatici e disponibili. Grazie!

24/04/2025: Personale accogliente e gentilissimo. Atmosfera rilassata e calda. Pizza ottima, digeribilissima, l'unica che consumo a Borgo San Lorenzo. Qualità dei prodotti elevatissima. Quantità molto generose, nel mio caso di gorgonzola ed aglio. Super consigliato!

09/06/2025: Nice and welcoming atmosphere. Attentive and fast service. Very good and abundant food except for the desserts: tiramisu too dry and not soft on the surface, torn Portuguese milk, immersed in too much liquid and rubbery external crust. For the rest, everything worthy of note, including the dish of the day (blueberry tagliolini on taleggio cream, crispy bacon and mushrooms). Highly recommended!

09/06/2025: Wonderful restaurant, fast staff and service, essential and well-curated menu, tasty and well-loaded dishes, highly recommended the platter for 4 people containing cold cuts, cheeses and fried foods. Excellent pasta cooking and sauces, purple gnocchi highly recommended. Excellent grilled second courses. Minus point for desserts, Portuguese milk cooked incorrectly and hard and tasteless tiramisu. However, good price also for the Florentine steak, recommended.

09/06/2025: We sat at a communal table, which didn't bother us. You get a menu and a pad on which you write your order yourself, take it to the cashier, pay, and then hand the slip to the kitchen. The food is then brought to you. The food really wasn't tasty. My companion's rice was cold, the spinach was lukewarm, and the shredded meat tasted worse than a ready-made meal. My lasagna was okay, but the sauce was watered down with flour and water, making it rather slimy. The bread that came with it tasted of nothing. Confirmation that we weren't just unlucky with our choice came when the couple next to us approached us to ask how our food was. Theirs was also partly cold and not good. The ambiance inside was nice, but not where we were sitting. The only positive point is that the food was brought quickly.

26/05/2025: Let's start by saying that to keep a business like this open in Florence, with a century-old and "tyrannical" culture of meat, it takes a huge heart and for this alone it deserves 5 stars. This evening at dinner we were welcomed with a smile and an uncommon kindness (especially in a city like Florence, accustomed to fast food and few pleasantries) the dishes are few but very inviting and change every day always guaranteeing great freshness of the proposals and attention to the seasonality of the ingredients. In addition to saying that the dishes we chose (and the desserts) were delicious, I was struck by the fact that even the drinks offered (lemonade, cola, etc.) were organic and not the usual big junk brands, another detail that raises the level and makes you understand the attention to the "mission" that this splendid place has. 🌱🧡 A very sweet experience that we hope to repeat soon, we will certainly do our best to help promote and preserve a precious place like this. 02/06/2025: Dinner on the way back from the sea in a welcoming place, outdoors. We ate well, the cost was perhaps a little high but not excessively so. Very good first courses and also the cod. I expected more from the desserts, the pistachio crème brulle’ was very sweet and the portion a little small. The overall rating is good though

18/06/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch, and everything was very easy because there was a waiter who spoke Spanish, even though we're Spanish. We're grateful to the waiter who served us, as he was very friendly. As for the food, we ordered three pizzas and a carbonara, and everything was delicious. P.S. We spilled some coffee, we're so sorry.

24/05/2025: Unique experience in this restaurant where nothing is left to chance... high quality food, environment cared for in every detail, unique welcome and service, which go far beyond professionalism, which is also impeccable... the human environment that you find is in fact made of kindness, welcome, genuineness and authenticity. The customer experience is put first with passion and dedication (which is not a given). Absolutely recommended!!!
