Never again. ** UPDATE ** - 1) I HAVEN'T ADDED ANYTHING TO THE MENU. 2) IT DOESN'T SHOW ON THE MENU THAT A MARGHERITA COST €10... 3) I REMIND YOU THAT THE CURRENCY IS THE EURO NOT DOUBLOONS.

09/07/2024: I don't know if I ended up on the "wrong" evening, but on a Saturday evening I was worried about making a reservation thinking that I wouldn't find a place... instead we arrive, we go in and we don't find anyone at the entrance, then we make ourselves heard and a man comes out who tells us to sit downstairs, nice and colorful environment but infinite sadness.... It was practically empty! Only one table occupied by a couple of guys and then us! Overpriced pizza, disgusting coffee!

09/06/2024: Such a friendly, warm and welcoming enoteca. The son makes the Chianti and works with his father behind the counter. A blend of languages makes for fun interaction. Great wine shop too and great wine knowledge by both the father and son team, and also many of the locals that frequent this establishment. We were only in Florence for 4 nights and went there twice. It was the most fun we had and great wine too, all at a reasonable price. I would head back there in a heartbeat. Fabulous place.

19/05/2024: Escapando de los puestos del mercado de San Lorenzo, fuimos a parar a la puerta de esta vinoteca. Desde fuera se veía dentro gente local, hecho que nos ayudó a decantarnos por entrar. Allí pudimos probar el vino Chianti classico de su propia bodega que estaba muy rico y a un precio más que aceptable para los precios desorbitados que se ven en las terrazas de Florencia. También probamos lambrusco y un vino blanco toscano que nos recomendó el amable camarero. Una parada muy recomendada.

23/06/2024: Una cena in compagnia a dir poco ottima. Personale gentile e cordiale. Il cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso 5 bottiglie di vino un antipasto che abbiamo condiviso un po’ tutti un primo a testa e bistecca per tutti, caffè e ammazzacaffè. Tutto spettacolare!! Cibo di ottima qualità e soprattutto preparato con passione! Il prezzo alla fine per tutto quello che abbiamo preso era più che giusto considerando anche la location in cui ti trovi. Dato che era una bella serata abbiamo deciso di mangiare fuori, sono stata molte volte al ristorante (mangiando sempre all’interno) ma devo dire che mangiare fuori nel giardino è tutta un altra storia. Posto bellissimo e curato al dettaglio! SUPER CONSIGLIATO!!

18/07/2024: It's the details that make the difference. And here the details are taken care of with meticulous love. The choice and selection of ingredients, the care and research in pairing flavors make this an unforgettable experience. And then the selection of oils, wines and beers! Of all the Beba pizza paired with the wine of the same name is absolutely unmissable! The service is friendly and attentive. The Pizzeria of the heart, where you can feel at home every time and be amazed every time as if it were the first!

09/08/2024: the place is pleasant, the service, despite some flaws, is pleasant. What I unfortunately didn't like was the food. The pizza is so thin that it gets cold as soon as it arrives on the table and for me it is also difficult to digest. A positive note is the limited expense with receipt. I'm sorry but it's not worth it.

26/03/2024: Had a great dinner experience at the Belguardo with excellent food and staff. Everything was delicious and was served in a decent portion size perfect for sharing among two. The bacon pasta was flavorful and had big pieces of bacon. My wife had the beef cheek with pumpkin sauce with meat cooked to perfect tenderness and a delicious sauce. I had the beef with artichoke which was also delicious. Some dishes were salted as mentioned in other posts but not to an extreme or overdone. A warm chocolate cake made the perfect ending. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The facility itself is modern in decor with a comfortable welcoming feel.

22/03/2024: My favorite restaurant in Florence. I have eaten here on each of my visits. The food is excellent: tartare, pasta, and a little-known favorite—fried potatoes! The service is fantastic, too!

02/08/2024: Pastry bar with pleasant interiors, wonderful staff, special desserts, also vegan or made for those with lactose intolerance problems, usually quiet and relaxing with the possibility of eating outdoors too. Advised!

30/07/2024: Trofie with pesto inedible due to the amount of salt. On the second try they were the same. Let them. I ate the bread and drank the water. €11. They told me that other customers liked them. It must have been my problem.
