B-Roof In Firenze

Great stay at the hotel. Location is great. It’s in front of the T2 tram stop, making travelling to the hotel from Florence so quick and easy. The main train station is about a 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is about a 6 min walk to the Duomo, and there are lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. We had a room on the 4th Floor, which unfortunately faced the construction happening on the right of the hotel. Room was big enough for the 3 of who stayed. The room could do with some TLC, but didn’t spoil our stay in the hotel. An extra touch we appreciated was the free mini bar, which was replenished everyday. It included 4 fizzy drinks, 2 still and 2 sparkling waters, 2 small bottles of juices, a biscuit and peanuts. We did request not having sparkling water but still instead, but this request was never carried out. Breakfast for us, being vegetarian was fine but would have loved some hot food provide. They only had scrambled eggs (which we don’t eat) and sausages. They had a big selection of pastries, breads, teas, coffees, juices, fruits the list goes on! The breakfast room is located on the 5th floor and had wonderful views of the skyline of Florence. You have to get there quick to get the best tables next to the windows. They also provide to go breakfast for those who have early starts for tours. They provide plenty of food. The only issue we had with this is that we requested a veggie bag with no eggs and they provide us with a ham sandwich and eggs! But it was ok as there was plenty to keep us full to lunch. All staff at the hotel, always so nice and friendly. I would definitely stay at the Grand Hotel Baglioni if I were to come back to Florence.

It's difficult to find fault with a hotel of this standard. Sometimes distinctions should also be made between hotels classified in the same star category. This is the best in everything. Rooms. Position. Breakfast. Service.

Hotel that can be compared to a historic Spanish Parador. And that says a lot. Undisputed style and quality. We had a great time. Skilled, courteous and competent staff. Understated luxury to be savored slowly…

Returning to Florence after 25 years, this time we chose the Baglioni for its proximity to the station (a few steps on foot with an underpass), to the center and for its history. Also attracted by the panoramic breakfast-restaurant bar room with priceless views of the city with its monuments, especially in the evening. Impeccable breakfast and dinner, in addition to the view. Staff all up to the task. The unusual free minibar was appreciated. Of course, the hotel is 120 years old and it shows clearly in some elements, even if the room and bed are still comfortable. However, radical renovations of historic hotels have a margin of risk. We have always frequented an important historic hotel in South Tyrol, which last year had its interiors completely redone (rooms and common areas). Now it is at the highest levels of comfort, services and modernity, but much of its historic charm has been lost. all at a much higher cost than before. It doesn't mean that they are always totally winning operations...

Perfect place to stay for experiencing historic Florence

Not only is the location great, but the rooms are beautiful and I'm very satisfied.

I went to the Baglioni for a show so I wasn't able to try the overnight service. As for the rest, I must say that it is one of the most beautiful hotels I have seen. For beauty I enclose the location and above all the care of the structure with profiled and well-designed and cared for interiors. The contrast between the old and the new in perfect harmony is beautiful. Top the rooftop terrace that takes your breath away at the spectacular view of the cathedral and the rooftops of Florence. Highly recommended.

Abbiamo deciso di pranzare per la prima volta al B - Roof, ambiente accogliente e panoramico, ottimo il servizio dell' impeccabile " Claudio" e del suo staff, gentile e professionale, poca attesa tra le comande, eccellente e stato il " Brasato di manzo con purè ". Ottima scelta nei vini. Siamo stati bene.

Uno dei Roof Restaurant migliori di Firenze. Elegante, con una vista unica al mondo. Qualità cibo ottima, dalla tartare di manzo ai ravioli del Mugello alla guancia di vitello. Tutto ottimo, compresi i dolci e i vini tra cui il Chianti Classico.
