Osteria del Milione In Scandicci

We went to this beautiful osteria for lunch. The atmosphere was sublime, with birds singing and crickets chirping. The panoramic view was breathtaking. The staff was very kind and professional. The food was excellent, and the wine even better. ;). The owner called us a taxi after lunch, waiting on the line for at least half an hour. What a gentleman! I'd say it's definitely one of my top 5 favorite experiences.

I would like to personally thank the owner of this place, for investing the time and the knowledge in such a beautiful place, delicate food and amazing poeple. Starting from the service, food and the view its top notch. I am so glad we found this amazing place, while in the area. The Olive Trees around the property its just the perfect decoration! Thank you!

The hotel has a great location and view. The The surroundings were beautiful, nestled among pine trees and lush greenery, with a small swimming pool surrounded by trees. Some of the rooms were fine, but others left a lot to be desired. They smelled damp, almost like a basement, and there were spider webs and insects. There was only one person at the reception, who seemed to be handling everything on their own. The pool was open until 9:00 p.m., but there was no staff available to order a coffee or a drink. The bar and restaurant were about a 10-minute walk from the rooms and pool area, along an unpaved mountain road. However, the restaurant had a fantastic view where you could see the dome of the Duomo. They served their own wine, which was delicious and very reasonably priced, while the food was quite good and fairly priced as well. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly.

The summer terrace experience with its view of Florence and the surrounding hills is truly enchanting. Recommended for a romantic evening or just relaxing. The waiters are courteous and friendly. The food is very good and carefully prepared.

We visited this magnificent osteria at the recommendation of a friend for a dinner away from the tourist bustle of the city, yet still within easy reach of Florence. As soon as we arrived, we immediately appreciated the large parking lot, which also allows for shaded parking if you happen to be there during the day. The first thing that struck us once we sat on the terrace was the breathtaking view of Brunelleschi's majestic dome...the view alone is worth it. Cesare greeted us at our table, and his professionalism and kindness made the evening even more enjoyable. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the Pici cacio e pepe to the succulent and tender steak...our only complaint is that the cured meats and cheese tasting for two was too rich in cured meats and too lacking in cheese. What can I say? Highly recommended, especially for the price! More than fair for the food we ate.

The food is delicious, and the view from the terrace is priceless. I go there often with my family, especially in the summer, and it's magical.

Hi, we were here today after a long time away, and it's always a pleasure to return. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the location was fantastic! It's definitely one of the best restaurants in the area.

A dreamlike location, as beautiful as it could be, and very courteous staff.

It was a wonderful discovery, a stunning location (except for the road to get there), and eating outside for two evenings with that wonderful landscape all around was magical! Delicious food, average prices, fantastic and very friendly waiters. One of the most beautiful places my wife and I have eaten at, highly recommended!
