I came 20min before closing time and ended up waiting around 40min but the guy prepared my food past closing time and despite the location looking very simple, the atmosphere was good and the food (vegan vegetable curry) was very good

Delicious food, the Indian guy there is good and had great hospitality for customers. The A.C was not working ,may be this is common for many shops in italy. But overall good experience

The butter chicken is amazing!! We came twice it was SO good! The second night the owner was really kind and turned the tandoor back on to make us fresh naan even though it was pretty late! Amazing food and customer service! Perfect spot for halal food if you’re in Florence!

I had the chicken, fries, and cola set and the basic kebab. The chicken was delicious, similar to the crispy fried chicken I eat in Korea, and the kebab suited my taste well. The price is very reasonable, and it fits Korean palates perfectly. I recommend it.

I visited Florence in May and writing this review in july. I went to Dawat and the brother who served me food there was a nice person and also customised my order going out of his way. He asked me to give a review with a smile. If you are reading bhaiya, I am sorry for being so late, but here I am. I enjoyed the chicken tikka roll and you also gave me fries which was extra even with the cola. The price I paid for that much of food made my friends jealous as they bought similar kind of food for triple the price. I loved the food, loved your nice behaviour. Thank you so much and I hope more and more people visit your place. In fact you are just 3 minutes away from Florence train station. If anybody reading this msg, go eat at Dawat. ❤️

27/06/2026: I lived in Xi’an as a child and was so pleasantly surprised to happen upon this place on our trip to Florence! Try the the jia mo (panino xi’an), it’s delicious! Thankful for this delicious reminder of my childhood 🥺💙

30/05/2026: A very welcoming place, located in a charming corner of town. It's a must-visit every time we travel south from Milan. The crostoni are truly excellent, especially the one with vegetables and brie, a must-try. The fresh pasta is also excellent, carefully prepared and very tasty. Special praise goes to the staff, always kind, friendly, and attentive.
26/05/2026: Cozy and pleasant restaurant with very friendly staff. All the pasta was homemade, and you could taste it! A very authentic flavor, delicious! I highly recommend eating here!
