01/11/2025: Pleasant surprise. I went for a quick aperitivo; I didn't have any high expectations, it had been ages since I'd been. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. I had a Bloody Mary and gave the bartender free rein, telling him to surprise me. He was delighted and made me a slight variation, which was very good. My friend had a spritz; the bartender asked if it was Campari, Aperol, or Select (again, a little more choice than average 🔝). For aperitivo, which we didn't want at first, the bartender offered us a bag of schiacciata. What can I say? It looks like a 90s bar, but with friendly, courteous service and quality products. A pass, keep it up! 🙌🙌🙌

06/10/2025: I've been to Xu Garden in Calenzano a couple of times, and I have to say that overall, it's a nice place for sushi and Asian dishes without too many pretensions. The restaurant is large, modern, and clean, with a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for both a dinner with friends and a romantic evening. The menu is extensive, with the classic all-you-can-eat formula: sushi, sashimi, uramaki, but also Chinese dishes and a few hot dishes (rice noodles, ravioli, chicken, etc.). The fish is generally fresh and delicious, especially the salmon and the simple rolls. Some dishes arrive a little late if the restaurant is busy, but nothing tragic. The staff is friendly and reasonably quick, although during peak hours, you can tell they're a bit rushed. I liked that the dishes are beautifully presented, not thrown together haphazardly like some all-you-can-eat restaurants. As for the price, it's average for the area: not cheap, but fair for the quantity and variety. If I really had to find a flaw, I'd say the quality isn't always consistent: sometimes excellent, other times a bit so-so. And some of the restaurant's rules (like not ordering too many of the same dishes) are a bit annoying, but whatever. Overall, though, I'd gladly return: a pleasant place, good food, and a refined atmosphere. It might not be the finest sushi in the world, but for a carefree evening, it's more than adequate.

02/08/2025: Terrible service, dirty food, cutlery, glasses, and plates they serve food on. They're dirty and not washed well. The waiters are very rude. The food is of terrible quality. I've never come across a place like this. I strongly advise against it. The menu is poor and of terrible quality. Take a closer look at the dishes that arrive at the table and you'll understand. I'll contact the NAS to inspect as soon as possible! (You guys are inventing everything to clean yourselves! Hahaha!). This means that if you don't order à la carte, you'll get terrible service! Wake up people! (We don't all get treated the same way!).

02/01/2026: At Patrizia and Paola, you can find paninis, schiacciata, whole grain bread, rye bread, Tuscan white bread (also made with Senatore Cappelli wheat), delicious pizzas, and the fantastic schiacciata with grapes when in season. 🍇 Traditional cakes and cookies made with love. I highly recommend it. They are always kind and helpful, and they also make custom cakes. We are here, near the Sant'Ambrogio market: a small business with a big heart. Thank you for your work.

23/09/2025: I don't know about the rest of the baked goods, but this one is definitely not worth buying; it's old, tasteless, and expensive.

02/09/2025: Politeness first. My mom and I came in for an aperitif. We ordered two non-alcoholic drinks, and my mom politely asked for some snacks. The bartender replied, "I only have two hands," with an annoyed expression. Rudeness is synonymous with ignorance. If dealing with customers is a problem, then I highly recommend changing careers.

08/12/2025: Large sandwiches with many flavors, whether with meat, fish, or vegetarian. I'm so hungry, these are the best sandwiches for me. You can customize your sandwich by choosing ingredients like broccoli rabe, onion, etc., or by removing ingredients you don't like (like sausage, etc.), all truly delicious. All the staff are really kind and skilled, hard workers.

28/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. The three of us were with our two dogs. We enjoyed the tender and flavorful tagliata and the excellent duck with onions. The side of turnip greens and the crostini as an appetizer were also good. We recommend it. Good value!

26/10/2025: While the food is excellent, the quality of the takeout service needs improvement. We booked for 1 pm and received our order at 1:40 pm. People who walked in and ordered directly at the counter were quicker. If I order for pickup at a certain time, I expect it to be respected, and I can excuse a ten-minute delay, not a 40-minute one.

09/01/2026: I had an excellent sandwich called Los Pollos, truly tasty and carefully prepared. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the service: the two young waitresses, Stella and Viola, were extremely friendly and attentive, providing impeccable service. They genuinely cared about my well-being as a customer, demonstrating great professionalism and kindness. A very positive experience that I would definitely recommend.
