08/09/2025: The branch appears very unkempt and poorly organized. The tables outside aren't cleaned at all after meals. They look dirty and unhygienic, but no one cares. Even an employee was standing outside and could have clearly seen it, but nothing was cleaned. The organization inside is also poor: The fans are positioned in such a way that when trash is brought past, it all flies onto the floor. Overall, the branch makes a very negative impression.

06/09/2025: The place could have been better managed given the high attendance and the dirty tables left by me, who have always had poor civic education. The food is a 4 because it's still fast food. The service was quite fast despite the high attendance. I'd return and recommend it for a quick meal.

06/07/2025: Tables are too crammed and tight. Staff are not the friendliest. Does not match the description, they do NOT serve food (no burgers as mentioned). On the plus side, drinks are good. View of the Cathedral is very nice. Not worth the hype. Reservation recommended for decent seating.

05/07/2025: tldr: the biggest TOURIST SCAM ever!!!! Overpriced menu and forced us to pay for visiting despite wanting to leave after seeing the menu. I went with a group of 4 girlfriends on a Saturday night as we were looking for a cute place to get drinks. Our experience was so AWFUL. First, were sat around the corner where there was no view whatsoever as there are only like 10 tables with genuine rooftop views. Second, the menu is INSANELY overpriced. They were trying to charge us €14 for a spritz, when we had been buying and drinking spritz all day for less than €8 - some places were even €5. After we saw how overpriced the menu was we decided to leave as it was definitely not worth the (lack of) view. We were there for maybe 3-5mins max. As we tried to leave, the waitress tried to stop us and say we had to pay them as she “saw us take pictures of the view”. She literally tried to stop us from leaving and the bartender also started arguing with us. We barely even sat let alone had time to take photos and I even pulled out my camera roll to show her that I didn’t take photos. Nonetheless they refused to believe us and continued to insist that we had definitely taken photos and only came up to do that. I tried to tell them that the issue was that their menu sucked but they didn’t want to hear any of it…… Ultimately had a proper 5-10min argument with them before I decided this is an absolute waste of my time and just left. Genuinely a ridiculous ordeal to put a customer through especially when (1) I was there for max 5mins, (2) was sat in an area with LITERALLY NO VIEW and (3) showed them my camera roll which had NO PHOTOS. Extremely rude and disrespectful service leaving aside the RIP OFF menu.

30/03/2025: Ogni tanto vengo qua a mangiare a pranzo Locale si trova in centro a Firenze arredamento molto carino davvero e personale gentilissimo disponibile 😊😊😊. La qualità tra cibo e prezzo secondo me e giusto si mangia benissimo. Ogni tanto quando ho tempo ci torno con molto piacere dato che mangiare e buonissimo e servizio e ottimo. Una cosa che devi rimediare e assaggiare anche dolci per resto tutto buono 😊😊

29/05/2025: Don't listen to the other reviews. The staff aren't rude, they're direct and efficient because the service is authentic and this is the way it's done. Try some Italian phrases, be polite and you'll be fine. This is a classic Italian bar-pasticceria located very close to the station (where all of the coffee shops are terribly reviewed) and it's a pleasure to find places like this. The coffee was strong, the pastry was great, the environment was clean and the service was fast. If you only have 20 minutes before you need to be at the train station in the morning this is the perfect place to have a small breakfast at the bar (or at a table if you have more time). If you're just having a coffee you could be here 5 minutes from start to finish easily. Bear in mind that at the bar will almost always be cheaper, though I couldn't see any sit-down prices displayed. No idea why another review says that you can only have a pastry if you're sitting down, I asked to have mine standing at the counter and they were totally fine with it. They also do takeaway coffee which is rarer for genuine Italian bars like this and handy if you're really in a rush. They have bottled/canned soft drinks and water as well. Card payments are accepted. The place is relatively small so don't come here with large parties. I'd say at most 4 people, ideally 1-2 people, or, if you do, it would be easy for most of your party to wait outside. We came in with luggage and did our best to keep it out of the way. It didn't seem to be a problem for the staff.

03/08/2025: Siamo stati martedì sera con gli amici, abbiamo preso un piatto di sushi per 4 uno spettacolo , molto originale. Poi abbiamo preso due pizze senza glutine per me uno dei migliori di Firenze sembra un quadro bellissimo. Poi una bavetta scoglio anche quello buono, abbiamo speso tra qualità e prezzo un prezzo giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Torneremo sicuramente presto. Ambiente bellissimo

27/07/2025: Sono andata in questa pizzeria con amici perché consigliata da altri ristoratori di Firenze. Già dall'accoglienza si sono dimostrati gentili e molto professionali. Dire che la pizza era super eccellente é dire poco. Con noi, c'era una persona allergica al glutine, lattosio e pepe. Hanno un'impastatrice una persona ed un forno dedicato proprio per offrire un servizio sempre più inclusivo. La pizza senza glutine era leggera e gli ingredienti utilizzati sicuramente ricercati. Non semplice trovare una pizzeria che non ti dia una base precongelata e farcita al momento. La pizza senza glutine viene impastata tutti i giorni e si percepisce dall'idratazione che possiede. Davvero bravi, ritorneremo sicuramente.

31/05/2025: A true point of reference in the Caffè Fiorentino area! This hotel is much more than just a place to sleep: it is also an excellent restaurant and a welcoming bar, always open until late. The cuisine is authentic, with tasty and well-prepared dishes, perfect for both a quick lunch and a relaxing dinner. The staff is always kind and helpful, the atmosphere warm and familiar. It is the only place of its kind in the area, and luckily it exists! Highly recommended both for those passing through and for those who live nearby.

My wife and I took a schiacciata sold at a gold price filled with mozzarella and with ham cut into strips, shoulder quality ham, some pieces of which we had to spit out because they were not chewable. Empathy of the staff below zero. You also pay for a mini glass of water. For us, a fail. There are better in the Valdarno.

29/07/2025: Pizza ordered via Globo, a red pizza with onion and sausage. What can I say, really good, light and crispy not greasy, the tomato was very good not acidic but sweet and tasty, really good!!

02/06/2025: For several years now, whenever I am in the area, I have been happy to stop and eat at Colonnine. Both the first courses, the meat or the pizza are fantastic. I love eating outside under the portico, but the internal rooms are also special. Fantastic staff who always know how to suggest the right wine. More than fair prices, fantastic service.

16/04/2025: Here you can find typical Tuscan specialties such as sbriciolona, ​​pennette al Chianti, stewed wild boar... A stone's throw from Santa Croce is the typical tourist restaurant with a small space on the street and a large, spacious interior. However, some details regarding the food are not convincing. As an appetizer I took the sbriciolona with cherry tomatoes... The sbriciolona, ​​it was pointed out to me by the person originally from Florence who was with me, that in reality it is finocchiona (the same but much thinner). For the second course I chose an entrecote with green pepper, a good part of which was almost inedible as it was all nerves. I forgot the house wine... sold as Chianti it tasted, in my opinion, rather watered down.
