Food was 10/10 (loved the pizza and risotto!) but the service was a letdown. Our food order was forgotten leading to a 40-minute wait despite the restaurant being half-empty (people were coming in and out pretty quickly. It wasn't really busy as such..)They tried to make it up with some free bruschettas which we appreciated but the long delay spoiled the vibe

In my opinion, it's touristy. You enter and you feel like you're experiencing a place with traditional, typically Tuscan cuisine. The menu features regional dishes, but also some very touristy ones. I was disappointed by the tagliata, €23, presented, in my opinion, disappointingly. It wasn't very meaty and not very appetizing. The small cacio e pepe were good, but in this context, frankly, it's not a place I'd return to. Not a warm welcome...

It's not a five-star restaurant, but it deserves four stars. Even just for the price of the grilled Florentine steak, which is below average (and incredibly expensive) for downtown restaurants. The service is a shame: the staff are foreign and not very attentive and helpful (even though we were alone in the restaurant). The atmosphere is old-fashioned. The Florentine steak is good, not exceptional.

Wonderful food at a good price. We liked it so much we went twice. We ate ravioli, spaghetti carbonara, and steak with potatoes. They were delicious.

04/09/2025: I'd known the place for years but had never stopped in. Even though it wasn't on our agenda, we stopped in for a quick bite. We quickly learned it was under new management, managed by Albanians only a few months ago. The products looked inviting at first glance, and the schiacciata dough and pizza slices were good. We ordered two schiacciatas and three pizza slices, a small bottle of water, and a coffee for about €30. Definitely too much. The prices were high, and would have been justified if there had been table service, but instead they hand you a canteen-style tray and you go find a place to sit. I don't think I'll go back.
02/09/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, good value for money, nice pergola for the tables
