29/06/2025: We went to this "pizzeria" tonight for a friend's birthday. We ordered from the kitchen rather than the oven: we were unlucky. Ambience: 80s/90s, which I personally don't mind, but without care and cleanliness. They placed us on the veranda where two large air conditioners stood out, not working. On a very hot evening they opened the windows and put a couple of fans. The result was not disastrous but not comfortable either, given the prices. Food: I paid over 55 euros for home-made food and badly cooked to boot. After a passable tomato bruschetta (but the bread is from a local bakery, not theirs), I had penne alla boscaiola in which the pasta was overcooked, the mushrooms were practically non-existent and there was an excess of cream that covered everything together with some scraps of cooked ham and some peas. If I had wanted a pasta with cream, ham and peas (badly cooked to boot) I would have made other choices. The result was that my mouth was filled with cream. The final blow was with the fried fish (a whopping 18 euros): a few squid and a few shrimp with a few tragically shriveled lettuce leaves. The batter was coming off and the consistency of this frozen fish was almost the same as that of a gingham, a sign that the raw material was not of quality and the frying was done badly. Inedible squid rings, shrimp probably fried and refried. In addition, some of my companions had ordered a fried vegetable dish that had the same problems and was inedible. Furthermore, the batter was dotted with black spots that indicated that the cooking oil had not been changed correctly, fish and vegetables had been fried in the same oil (which should not be done) and at too low a temperature. For 18-20 euros in Livorno they give me a very abundant dish with fresh fish and correct and light frying. Same problem with the French fries: few, small and badly cooked. If you don't know how to do things, they shouldn't be on the menu. For a personal bill of 57 euros (and with a receipt that indicated 57 euros for pizza and not the individual courses, another irregular and unprofessional thing) an experience absolutely NOT to be repeated, also considering that this place is in Quinto and not in Piazza della Signoria in Florence. The service was unprofessional and slow as well as inadequate for the bill paid, but also for a Festa dell'Unità: ten minutes to have a bottle of water changed or to have bread, and the place was semi-deserted. Long pauses between one course and another. No customer care. Waitress who didn't even know the dishes on the menu, who addressed 70-year-olds with the informal "tu" (I may be a bit old-fashioned, but in my day an 18-year-old would address someone so much older) and who then, bored, stood at the side of the room in a corner with her cell phone and cigarette in her hand. Unacceptable for any place. Conclusion: STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED

04/06/2025: A pleasant dinner, the waiters are all kind and professional. The menu was made for regular customers so with photos to "describe" the dish. The prices are honest and the portions are generous. Everything is good and the service is fast.

26/10/2025: A bit of a disappointment because for 4.99 euros the quantity of products was less than the cost, keeping in mind that in to goo there is the penalty of not being able to choose and this should be compensated by a greater quantity of product

23/09/2025: What can I say... everything was delicious! The first courses won us over, especially the boscaiola and the pici all'aglione: flavorful, plentiful, and cooked with care. A big round of applause for Mascia, the owner: you can tell she puts her heart into what she does, and her sandwiches are proof of that... one in particular? The lampredotto sandwich: simply a must-try! Kudos also to the new girl who prepares the dishes in the kitchen, she's truly talented: the food is delicious and makes you feel right at home. We'll definitely be back, and we recommend it to everyone!

28/05/2025: Right in front of the San Giuseppe hospital, a simple and comfortable "corner" where you can enjoy a good sandwich🍔🌭 prepared to measure 😁 They have various tasty 🍟 first and second courses (which I have not tried, but the other customers were very satisfied). The coffee is very good,☕️ for me the best in the area. Courtesy and cleanliness at 🔝 🔝 🔝

07/10/2025: I often go to the nighttime bakery. Their homemade pangoccioli are simply irresistible, and the way they fill them with quality creams makes them even better. The bomboloni are also a real treat, but I'd say everything there is good. A perfect treat, I'd say. Roberta is super friendly and loves her job. A place truly worth a visit.

09/09/2025: I've known this place since its first location; I attended the grand opening of the new store, and over the years, I've ended my evenings here on several occasions, always dragged along by friends or my partner. In addition to a variety of sweet and savory products, you can satisfy your cravings by having croissants, bomboloni, and pangoccioli filled with creams, sprinkles, sweet snacks, and more. Naturally, the price increases with each addition, and if you indulge in a food frenzy, you can end up spending more than double the price of the product you're filling, ending up with a "hodgepodge" of pre-packaged products at a cost I consider excessive, given the quality of the fillings used. Furthermore, some products don't have a price listed, and you're only informed of the total cost at the checkout, often leaving you over budget. Like my last visit, where I spent around €12 for just two of the pieces I bought, probably the Dubai Chocolate version of the pangoccioli, filled with chocolate cream and kataifi pastry, but unfortunately without any trace of pistachio. I recommend this place if you're craving something sweet to end the evening; I personally consider the quality/price ratio to be poor, but my partner absolutely loves their pangoccioli and, if we're in the area, she never misses an opportunity to try it.

12/08/2025: Looking for a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere with wonderful Italian dishes and wines? Then Rudolfo is the right place for you. It's not a five-star restaurant, but the village atmosphere and the extremely friendly service with typical Italian charm make your stay a pleasant experience. It's a meeting place for the villagers, making it a truly authentic restaurant. Naturally, the food is freshly prepared and is a treat for body and soul. Even if the restaurant closes, you can always stay longer. Enjoy your meal and thank you.

The hedges need trimming, leaves, and clutter from the loungers make it look almost abandoned. The rooms are of questionable taste, with the gold headboard, which, even though it was created by an artist, is a bit too dramatic and unpleasant. Breakfast definitely needs improvement. The coffee and cappuccino machine is no good; they're undrinkable! The fruit juices are sugar water and you can tell they're really poor quality. Before 10 a.m., some items had already run out and weren't refilled. The staff is friendly, but room cleanliness definitely needs improvement; there's a bin with waste from previous guests.

11/10/2025: We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant on Google, and it was definitely worth it. The service was exceptional. I ordered the Papardelle a la Ragu! Wonderful.

28/06/2025: It was a lifesaver when we were looking for somewhere to eat with the kids at lunch. The ambiance... well, :D... But the food was incredibly delicious. Despite a language barrier, the owner tried very hard to explain the daily menu to us! Another good sign was that the restaurant gradually filled up with locals. It's air-conditioned inside, but there are also outdoor seating areas.

12/05/2025: We stocked up for our hypothetical festival and everything was superb. Products such as excellent flatbreads and pizzas, service with attention to the smallest details and super helpful.
