21/09/2025: €8 for a gin and tonic (without an aperitif, mind you, just drink and go) seems a bit excessive to me; it costs less in the center of Florence. If you then go to Dalmatia, you can dine at Serafini for the same price. Remember, you're in Dicomano.

It's not a five-star restaurant, but the village atmosphere and the extremely friendly service with typical Italian charm make your stay a pleasant experience. It's a meeting place for the villagers, making it a truly authentic restaurant. Naturally, the food is freshly prepared and is a treat for body and soul. Even if the restaurant closes, you can always stay longer. Enjoy your meal and thank you.

27/12/2025: The pizza by the slice was truly terrible. I felt sick less than two hours later. It was barely reheated in the microwave, and it was soggy.

25/01/2026: We organized a dinner here for a colleague's retirement. All the staff were extremely kind, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food was varied and excellent (including the desserts). It was a great success!!!

30/12/2025: I've been going there since I was little, and I've noticed several changes over the years. A plus is definitely the staff and lifeguards, who are excellent and always ready, polite and courteous. Prices are reasonable, and the food at the bar is good—for that alone, they deserve 5 stars. A minus is hygiene. I went on Sunday (alas, the worst day to go to the pool). There were people eating poolside, people swimming fully clothed and without caps, and people swimming in their underwear. I didn't feel like staying, and I left knowing I'll never return. It would have been appropriate to fine or even remove from the pool anyone who didn't follow the rules, but above all, not to let anyone in without a swimsuit. Hygiene is important, especially given the large number of children.

09/09/2025: Excellent bakery. The dough is top-quality. The service from Lorenzo and Paola, as well as that of their staff, was truly top-notch. Kudos to the regular schiacciata and the grape version.

28/07/2025: Best grandmother and millefeuilte cake. The other products such as Cantucci and Pizzette are also excellent. A must when in Florence!

28/09/2025: I was here on March 15, 2025, and where do I begin? Everything about this shop is wrong. The staff was unacceptably rude, and I was insulted for no reason after asking a question. They forced us to sit down, telling us we were required to sit at a table to consume what we'd ordered, without mentioning the exorbitant cover charge. €1.50 for poor service and even worse food. When we went to pay, the price had practically doubled, and when I complained, given the lack of transparency, I was disrespectfully told that "it was my problem." Absurd. Hygiene was completely lacking, with trash and insects everywhere, and the bathrooms were covered in feces and urine on the walls and floors. Conditions that would make even the local health authority shudder. Then, looking at the responses to the reviews, you can see the profound ignorance and incivility of whoever manages the online page. A person has the right to know whether there's a cover charge and how much it costs before paying. The point isn't whether they can afford it or not, but that it's wrong and immoral to defraud customers. At worst, you're the ones who humiliate yourself for an extra €1.50 by only showing higher prices at the end, losing customers and respect for just €1.50. Pathetic. I saw that in response to a review from someone who'd had the same experience as me, the person who responded to the critic, undoubtedly poorly educated and profoundly rude, wrote, "If you can't afford a coffee, stay home." If you can't afford to keep a shop open without a €1.50 cover charge, then stay home and close the shop. Clearly, if you feel the need to defraud people for so little, you're in dire financial straits and need a different kind of help. A disgrace.

It starts with breakfast with excellent products, continues with quick lunches, and ends with excellent aperitifs and cocktails. ​The real surprise is the themed dinners with authentic Calabrian specialties: an unexpected journey of flavors, absolutely worth trying! ​Special praise goes to Gaetano and his family: their kindness, courtesy, and friendliness create a truly welcoming atmosphere. 30/12/2025: The restaurant, near Piazza del Duomo, consists of a two-story restaurant (the first floor seemed to be connected only by a staircase) and a shop selling fresh flowers and small furnishings (I noticed mostly items resembling modern antiques, inspired by the 1950s and 1960s). The coexistence is subtle and elegant: it doesn't clash at all; the decor helps. The staff is quick, attentive, and kind. The dishes we ordered were of excellent quality and beautifully presented.

29/12/2025: A Florentine gem for a Frenchman! La Ménagère is a unique spot in Florence, blending flowers, refined decor, and fine dining. The setting under the vaulted ceilings is sublime, especially with the magnificent Christmas decorations. As for the food, everything was excellent, from the perfectly executed risotto to the signature tiramisu with its dragonfly motif. But the special mention goes to the bread: as a French person, what a joy to finally find bread with flavor and salt! It's the only restaurant during our entire stay in Florence where the bread was delicious and of high quality (a welcome change from the traditional Florentine bread without salt). A detail that makes all the difference. A must-try! Remember to book your table ;)

20/12/2025: We had to ask for the table to be cleaned before bringing the drinks. I asked for tea and they brought it to me with the teabag (of their choice) in the teapot, with only one sugar packet. Rude.

14/12/2025: A fine pastry shop with an inviting dessert counter, good coffee, and attentive and professional staff. The covered outdoor area, covered by a canopy, is a nice spot for breakfast and a cigarette. Its proximity to schools greatly increases attendance during school hours.

04/09/2025: Returning from vacation on August 24th, we stopped by this takeout pizzeria by chance. Spectacular pizza and knowledgeable, welcoming staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 5 stars aren't enough! We look forward to seeing you on Lake Maggiore, hoping you'll open a pizzeria here too!

09/11/2025: I say yes, because the food is truly good. I say yes, because the dishes are also beautiful to look at. I say yes, because the quality-price ratio is excellent. I go in the evening (Friday or Saturday) for the fish. I recommend it.

07/11/2025: Very good for a lunch pit stop. Good food and fast service. Very friendly and courteous staff. Also a good place for breakfast or coffee breaks. The terrace is very nice.
