16/07/2024: This place was the best Italian food we had in all of Florence. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, the chef even poking his head out to make sure we were enjoying the food he had made. We tried a variety of things on 2 seperate occasions and they wow-ed us with all of our selections. Their wine is great and their waitstaff were patient with us as we tried to order our food in Italian. We would come back here in a heartbeat and recommend it to all tourists and locals alike. It's a gem and is not just a tourist-trap (serving locals and tourists alike). Give it a try and you will leave content with a belly full.

29/07/2024: Old school pizzeria (positively), few frills and a lot of substance. Delicious pizzas, the other dishes are also excellent, really good staff, the girl who welcomes customers is uniquely talented, hold on to her, the place could do with a little more attention but it doesn't matter because here you can eat as good as ever!

14/07/2024: Trattoria storica nel piccolo borgo mutato di Lastra a Signa. Ambiente interno spazioso, ma d'estate si può mangiare fuori proprio sotto le mura. Si mangia bene...discreti gli antipasti...molto buoni i primi...ottima bistecca alla fiorentina. Servizio veloce e cortese. Assolutamente consigliata.

01/07/2024: ## Bassa Marea: a margherita pizza to remember Being a pizza enthusiast, I couldn't resist the call of the Bassa Marea Pizzeria Restaurant in Bassa di Cerreto Guidi. As always when I discover a new place, I decided to order a simple margherita pizza, an evergreen that allows you to better evaluate the quality of the ingredients and the mastery of the pizza chef. I must say that the Bassa Marea pizza really won me over. The dough was light and well-leavened, with the right degree of crunchiness on the edge and an irresistible softness in the center. The tomato was tasty, while the mozzarella was stringy and of good quality. I didn't find the basil, which would have completed the pizza with a touch of freshness, I have to consider it an error in the recipe, but it may have been missing due to the pizza chef's taste or due to forgetfulness, who knows. You could clearly see that the pizza had been prepared with care and with top quality ingredients. Each bite was an explosion of flavor that literally made me dream. In addition to the pizza, I also had the opportunity to appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The place is welcoming and well looked after, with an informal and pleasant atmosphere. What I ordered: Margherita pizza, mineral water. What I liked: Light and well-leavened dough, quality ingredients, kind and professional staff, welcoming place.

15/04/2024: I have been to this particular restaurant and I have to say that the overall experience was pleasant. The environment was welcoming, the staff courteous and attentive, and the food delicious. However, I noticed some small gaps in service and attention to detail that could be improved. Overall, a good choice for an enjoyable evening, but there is room to grow towards excellence.

19/05/2024: Very cute couple, very good pizzas (despite the fact that they were lactose-free and also with the possibility of gluten-free), impeccable buckwheat dough, everything else from the baked pizza boxes is eco-sustainable and winks at innovation. The only flaw is that the environment is a bit small and not well looked after but still clean. We will definitely return. 🤗

19/03/2024: One of the best pizzas in Florence, made with quality ingredients. Semi wholemeal pizza that is easy to digest compared to other pizzas. They are all good but my favorites are: delicious to die for, chips and whurstel, 4 white cheeses, tuna and onion and the ortolana.

09/07/2024: Excellent ice cream, in classic flavors also special flavors. The cone waffles are also excellent and are not the classic "light" ones found everywhere, but the "real" crunchy ones. For me the best in the centre.

11/06/2024: We were waiting for a focacceria to open to eat something and so we entered the street and thought that given the traffic of people the quality of the pizza was acceptable, in reality I have never eaten something so terrible, it felt like eating a leather sole which looked like a pizza, worst choice I could have ever made, I also spent a kidney.

27/08/2024: Cute little Mexican place in the middle of Florence! Nice for a change of the same food in Italy. I stumbled upon this place actually heading to a Dom Sum place.(I have been here over a month, I need a little diversity) Good cocktails, nice friendly gal who spoke English. During my time I noticed that she was very honest with a man from America who was nervous to order food because he had nut allergies.
