22/08/2025: I visited this restaurant with my husband and found the atmosphere very homey, simple yet welcoming. The appetizer of pappa al pomodoro fritters was truly delicious, a true delight. The main course, a fillet of beef served with potatoes, was very good: the meat was tender and well-cooked. We enjoyed the pici, although we would have preferred them with less pepper, as the flavor was a bit too intense. As for the desserts, however, our experience was less satisfying: they were a bit heavy, and we weren't convinced by the choice of serving them in a cup, which was awkward both for eating and for the waiter to carry. The service was courteous, with a friendly waiter, and the wait times were reasonable, neither too long nor too fast. Overall, it was a good experience, especially for those who appreciate authentic flavors in a rustic atmosphere. The desserts could be improved, but we'll definitely be back!

17/07/2025: Con un gruppo di amici abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria nella quale siamo tornati dopo quasi trent’anni, per passare una serata lontani dalla calura di Firenze. Location sempre gradevole, menù contenuto ma con proposte invitanti, servizio informale….anche troppo . Una enorme delusione: alcuni piatti come il fritto con verdure (specialità un tempo della casa)direi immangiabile con carne di pollo e coniglio decisamente crude e mal cucinate. Primi insignificanti dal sapore incomprensibilmente anonimo. Dolci da dimenticare. Tempi di attesa tra le varie portate…..biblici. Conto non certo economico, ma soprattutto elevato per quanto mangiato. Mi dispiace, spero in una giornata storta dei gestori, ma noi abbiamo chiuso .

09/06/2025: I didn't like it at all. Tasty dishes, raw ravioli! Excessive price for the portions they give you. With €20 I could go to a bar and eat much better and above all we ate for two!

14/04/2025: Bread of all kinds and Oscar-worthy schiacciata! Fabulous pizzas and delicious focaccias, not to mention the first and second courses. Tuscany is here. You'll also find room for quick lunches, and if you don't know what to cook for Easter and Christmas, trust them! ❤️

18/05/2025: Tried tonight with takeaway service. Delivery time scrupulously respected, well done. Really very good pizza base, well leavened, soft and well cooked. More than enough toppings to the eye, but my ham and mushrooms was very in need of salt, while my father's margherita was perfect. Excellent value for money. To try again with other toppings.

03/05/2025: A small Italian pizzeria, excellent dough and toppings. Sales mainly for takeaway, but you can sit down and enjoy a great pizza with a beer or wine. Very nice owner, knows how to take care of the customer. Prices are moderate and appropriate to the quality.

16/04/2025: Returning from Florence, at the Barberino del Mugello motorway exit, we find three adjacent restaurants. Some are literally crowded with people still waiting at 2pm. Since we have little time and are very tired, we decide to venture towards the one that least inspires us, namely "Da Imma". Externally it appears like a simple tobacconist's bar... Once inside we discover that on the lower floor there is a large room dedicated to catering. Although it is located in the basement, we are not closed within four walls. In fact, we find a large window through which external light filters and creates a particularly pleasant environment. The portions are more than generous. I took a fillet strictly requested rare but which was served to me at what I believe to be medium rare...

11/09/2025: FRESH PASTRIES WITH AN ENDLESS VARIETY OF FLAVORS, THE WELL-KEPT PLACE WITH LOTS OF OUTDOOR SPACE. HAVING BREAKFAST HERE GIVES YOU A PLEASANT, RELAXING SENSATION. THE STAFF IS KIND AND ATTENTIVE TO CLEANLINESS, AND THERE IS NO LACK OF ELEGANCE.

02/09/2025: Too expensive, and the quality, in my opinion, is MEDIOCRE, if not POOR. The pastry I ordered seemed to have been out of date for a few days, the cream inside, and the pastry itself was dry. SERVICE: POOR: the girls don't even know how to wrap a tray. I ordered a tray to take away for an event, but it looks terrible! They fold it underneath and immediately pass the ribbon over the tray without even folding the wrapping properly or securing it with tape. NOT RECOMMENDED. I'M BETTER THAN OTHER PASTRIES WHERE THE SERVICE IS BETTER, LESS EXPENSIVE, AND OF A HIGHER QUALITY, AND CERTAINLY WITH MORE ADEQUATE STAFF.

13/09/2025: A total of 10. The best ricotta cannoli in the Florence area. Top-notch pastry. Kudos to Michele and the entire staff. From one to ten? 10.

17/06/2025: I ask for a smooth ice cream without any piece of chocolate or anything else, after the extraction of a tooth, they tell me that there are none, instead inside it was full... Wrong information and terrible and poor service!

28/09/2025: Very good pizza, you can also ask for lactose-free mozzarella

21/09/2025: I stumbled upon this pizza place while I was lost and walking. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, and they even recommended a menu, which put my mind at ease. The pizza was delicious and not salty. They also sell Tuscan wine by the glass, so you can enjoy a light glass.

05/02/2025: I ordered pizza two days in a row because the first night it was superb. The ingredients were excellent, the dough was soft but well-cooked and risen. Excellent, I'd say. The second night, unfortunately, when I brought it home in the open boxes, it was completely soggy and soaked. Now I'm hesitating whether to give it another try to see which of the two versions is the real deal... I'll try again and let you know.

08/10/2025: Disappointing, I won't go back and I don't recommend it! The prices are very high for what they offered; the dishes were very simple, ugly, and not particularly tasty! They were served poorly and without any attention to detail, and after three courses I left feeling hungry. Two dishes weren't even available, and others didn't match the menu I saw on the website. The place isn't remotely like the photos; it's much uglier, soulless, and extremely poorly maintained. The lighting is wrong, the wallpaper is poorly applied, and the decor is very strange and lacks attention to detail. Not even remotely recommended!

23/09/2025: Delicious food, beautifully presented. Service was very friendly and considerate. I enjoyed the food, but I don’t think it was outstanding. Considering the prices, I expected more. There definitely is room for improvement in flavour and texture. I had the lemon torta fredda for desert. It had a lovely zesty tang to it, but sadly was very frozen and crumbly. I would have expected a creamier consistency. I’ve made vegan parfait before and know it requires some experimenting to perfect the texture of frozen deserts, but it is possible. Overall, I would be back to try more of their food, and so hope that the chefs up their game!

29/09/2025: This café made me very happy today! :) I have celiac disease, and it's so hard to find a gluten-free café that's also nice and cozy, has friendly staff, and isn't too expensive. But La Milkeria managed to do all of that, thank you ^^
