19/09/2025: I had breakfast in front of the hostel where I stayed for two days. It was delicious and had a truly local atmosphere. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly :) I had a wonderful time enjoying the food. It was delicious and local. It was very personal and gentle.

07/09/2025: A real loss of style! We stayed two nights in a B&B with breakfast in the aforementioned pastry shop. The ticket said two sweet treats and a hot drink... I had a cannoli and a coffee with a glass of water. Just moments after handing over the ticket, they charged us for the glass of water because the cannoli costs 2.50 euros... I'm afraid croissants cost 1.30 euros, but now they're 2.60 euros... you were ridiculous!

23/09/2025: The food was impeccable. We saw the chef and told him everything was delicious, but he didn't seem to understand. He told us his food is only for Italian palates, not for foreigners. Too bad, he doesn't seem to understand that his restaurant's main source of income is from the surrounding hotels. So we can avoid repeating it and let the owner have a chat with his chef.

03/11/2025: A very nice place with excellent service, contrary to some reviews. We arrived on a Sunday around 2 pm without a reservation and were seated in the small adjoining room. We ordered the rigatoni nella zupiera and the tortelli di patate al ragù, simply delicious, no complaints whatsoever. Go without hesitation, and if you happen to get a less pleasant server than ours, the food will make up for it ;)

05/10/2025: A discreet and welcoming restaurant, with a garden where you can dine under an elegant pergola. The regional cuisine is rich in traditional dishes. The meat is excellent.

28/09/2025: Let's forget about Sunday lunch: tagliatelle with mushrooms and butter in a sauce I've never seen before. Mixed roast meat unpresentable, not even for lunch. Four dry pieces left there on a small plate with no sauce. Sauce and runny liver croutons. I'd take a cooking class again, priced like a quality restaurant.

14/09/2025: I ordered 500g of gelato for delivery and, out of curiosity, weighed it once it arrived: it was 480g. It's not a huge difference, but it's still less than what was declared and paid. I think it's right to pay more attention to these details, because customers expect transparency and fairness. It's a shame, because the gelato is good, but I hope the gelato shop will be more careful in the future, especially with deliveries.

28/08/2025: Excellent gelato, also available gluten-free. Ice cream cakes are also available upon request. Indoor seating (a few tables) and outdoor seating (plenty of seating). I'm giving it 4 stars because the exterior overlooks a parking lot on a busy road.

18/10/2025: Charming restaurant, warm welcome, family cooking but what a disappointment with the bill. We are tourists but why add extra charges normally included in the menu... it's a shame because it leaves a bitter taste... hence this review to warn and for the owner to be more honest in the future ;)

07/06/2025: Io sono trooooppo affezionato a questo posto. Ogni qualvolta mi trovo a Firenze è tappa fissa. Cibo autentico e buonissimo. Qualità prezzo top. Ma ciò che fa la differenza, lasciatemelo dire, è la gente che porta avanti questa splendida “bottega”. Massimiliano, gabry e tutta la squadra….Mio posto del cuore a Firenze.

05/05/2025: Allá Vecchia Bettola está fuera de la trampa turística en Florencia - vale la pena dejar el centro y salir aquí. Nos encantó todo y la oportunidad de visitar otras partes de Florencia. La comida es maravillosa - el servicio y el ambiente también. Si tuviéramos la oportunidad y nos quedamos más tiempo en la zona, sin duda habríamos vuelto para otra cena o almuerzo.

15/09/2025: For a quick lunch... schiacciata all'olio, filled to order at the deli counter. Delicious and affordable. Very friendly and quick service. I recommend it.

27/10/2025: I stopped in this place, drawn by the entrance. The interior is intimate and very unique, with many clocks and a reminder of its past. The lady is very kind and friendly. The food is excellent. I recommend it.

15/07/2025: Super leckeres Essen. Waren 2 x da und hatten Pizza, Pasta und Steak. Besonders das Steak hatte es uns angetan. Preis/Leistung ist top. Ebenfalls schnell, zuvorkommend, freundlich und sehr gut organisiert.

27/05/2025: Lee varias opiniones recientes en tu sitio y piensa que este lugar vale la pena probar. Sólo otras dos parejas en el restaurante a las 6: 30 fue mi primera pista. Pedí ensalada Caprese. 7 deliciosas rodajas de tomate, una pequeña hoja de albahaca y mucha lechuga Iceberg para acompañar el queso mozzarella. No sabía que la albahaca está fuera de temporada en mayo. Entonces pedí los ñoquis de queso azul. Me encanta el queso azul, no es un sabor difícil de perder. No podía probar ningún queso azul. Quizá los ñoquis eran buenos, pero no eran ñoquis de queso azul. Mi esposa tenía espaguetis carbonara que tenía carne de cerdo mínima y no podía probar el queso pecorino. Tengo la clara sensación de que este restaurante está tratando de conseguir lo barato; escatimando en los ingredientes principales de las comidas.

15/11/2025: Perfect welcome from hungry and happy people (one guy looks just like Santa Claus). Fast and friendly service. Good and unique food. A real novelty.

05/10/2025: Welcoming and clean place, we tried different things from maritozzi to stuffed bombe to the freshly made donut, very soft and light, a delight, we will be back, I recommend it
