14/05/2025: Felt like a home cooked meal. We walked in not long after they opened on a Monday evening without a reservation - was greeted warmly and looked after from then on. It felt like we were in someone's home (albeit with a lot of wine adorning the walls!). Food was pleasant but very simple and rustic. Go in with that in mind to ensure it's what you're looking for. We didn't have any preconceptions, but were pleasantly surprised. Wine options were extensive! Cosy feel, only downside however, there was no music or anything to enhance the atmosphere when we were the first and only customers - it was very quiet. As we were leaving the place had filled up some more which seemed to help the vibe.

02/04/2025: From the moment I arrived at Villa San Michele, I was struck by its timeless elegance.What makes this villa truly unique is its blend of heritage and modern art. During my time there, the villa was hosting a collaboration with Galleria Continua, showcasing the iconic works of Beijing-based artists Sun Yuan & Peng Yu. Their exhibition, exploring the theme of “Identity In Space,” added an avant-garde touch to the villa’s historical context of the villa. I had the immense privilege of photographing a luxury destination wedding at Villa San Michele, and as a luxury photographer who works with many exquisite venues, I can confidently say it is unlike any other. From the golden-hour glow over Florence to the villa’s historic interiors, the variety of breathtaking locations offered endless opportunities for capturing perfect moments. I should note that the villa’s commitment to excellence is reflected not only in its stunning spaces but also in its exceptional staff, who are attentive, courteous and hospitable to one whether they are a guest or a visitor. To me, the latter is a sign of true hospitality! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend villa San Michele and I plan to visit again, this time for an extended stay with my wife next time I am in Florence!

12/06/2025: Una piacevole scoperta! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene: piatti toscani autentici e ingredienti di qualità. L’ambiente è accogliente, con un tocco rustico che rende il tutto ancora più piacevole. Servizio cortese e attento, senza fronzoli ma efficace. Ottima la fiorentina, che ha sposato un sangiovese d’eccezione ! Consigliato per chi cerca sapori veri in un contesto tranquillo.

19/04/2025: I've been coming here for many years and every time I hope for the education of the staff but unfortunately the situation doesn't change, they are rude as if they were giving you the food for free, we didn't even have the chance to order before we were immediately invited to the checkout in a rude manner not to mention the disproportionate prices for the shoddy things they offer, never again.

13/04/2025: I'm putting one star because I'm not allowed to put 0, for 25 euros each we expected quality, well-made food, but instead it was disgusting, poor quality, it smelled and it was cold. I actually felt like vomiting all over, it was the worst place you could go, I don't fully recommend it. I can't even imagine how he manages to serve his customers. If I were you I would be ashamed.

20/05/2025: Always a good option for all you can eat sushi. I am vegetarian and I have had several options without fish and meat. I also asked for the possibility of creating personalized uramaki that were not listed on the menu and they were very helpful and kind. The staff is ready and available, the place is very quiet, we were on the terrace outside.

20/04/2025: Si quieres un restaurante japonés de calidad en la ciudad, este es el lugar! Tienen todo lo que necesita básicamente: ( 1 ) cosas realmente amables y profesionales; ( 2 ) servicio rápido; ( 3 ) menú accesible (con fotos! Así que ya sabes lo que vas a elegir, que es muy importante) con variedad de opciones; (4) precios razonables; y (5) alimentos frescos y deliciosos para cada tipo de plato que hemos probado. Además de sentarse en su encantador lugar, también tiene la opción de pedirlo como comida para llevar. Muy recomendable!

07/06/2025: The place is joyful and cheerful, with music and karaoke in the background. The menu is quite varied: good appetizers, abundant first courses and good and well-filled pizzas. A place is an environment that lends itself very well, in my opinion, to birthday parties or in any case dinners with friends ..... or simply a simple and pleasant dinner. The bill in the end is average. Parking is convenient and close by but if you find it along the road or the garden. The large garden there in front, can be a plus for those with more or less grown-up children.

16/04/2025: I celebrated my 60th. Perfect party with everything. Excellent buffet also for vegetarians and gluten free. Beautiful music. The venue offers itself for these events...large room where you can let loose with the dancing

30/03/2025: I stop on my bike and buy a sandwich and a coke, I ask if I can sit for 5 minutes to eat in the heat and it wasn't 4 degrees outside, but the lady who made me the sandwich replies "I'm sorry, I'm doing the tables". There was no one there at the time and the tables were all ready.... What a warm welcome. In response to the owner... Grulla will be your mother, and anyway it doesn't say anywhere that the tables are for the restaurant but above all, since they were all empty, 5 minutes could have been granted for one of your customers to eat a sandwich. Kisses and hugs... 😘

11/04/2025: Looked for somewhere for dinner on the way home and saw this restaurant. Despite the recent mediocre reviews, we decided to give it a try. The mediocre reviews were in fact correct. We ordered the napoli anni 60’ and sant’ ambrogio pizza. The sourness of the pickled broccoli on the sant’ ambrogio pizza was not a good pairing. Both pizzas had holes in it cuz the dough wasn’t evenly tossed. The crusts were also so chewy that it was inedible. Service was neutral. Server was not attentive but not rude. The decor was actually okay but the ambiance just felt off. When it the bill came, I saw they charged €2 for water and it wasn’t even an unopened bottled water that we got. It was a used glass bottle that they just filled with tap water.

18/05/2025: Tried tonight with takeaway service. Delivery time scrupulously respected, well done. Really very good pizza base, well leavened, soft and well cooked. More than enough toppings to the eye, but my ham and mushrooms was very in need of salt, while my father's margherita was perfect. Excellent value for money. To try again with other toppings.

03/05/2025: A small Italian pizzeria, excellent dough and toppings. Sales mainly for takeaway, but you can sit down and enjoy a great pizza with a beer or wine. Very nice owner, knows how to take care of the customer. Prices are moderate and appropriate to the quality.

21/05/2025: Zero stars, pathetic and very expensive coffee, brioche with empty Nutella, I ask if I can kindly put a little more Nutella and they reply that the management wants them to put 20g of Nutella, absurd not only does it cost a lot of money it's also empty🤔😡
