17/08/2025: Stunning croissant and cappuccino

15/08/2025: The service was quite bad, we asked for a table for two and they pointed to an area for us to go, although we said we wanted to eat, they brought us the cocktail/drink menu, when we asked for the appropriate menu instead of giving it to us in hand they threw it on the table, suddenly the volume of the music rose to unusual levels, the music was not at all in keeping with the place, and a couple of waiters started dancing, I couldn't tell if it was a restaurant or a nightclub, it took them more than 25 minutes to bring the food, 5 minutes before they asked us what side dish we wanted with the dishes, ??????, it is usually asked when ordering. One of the dishes was already cold when it was brought, in a space with 8 tables and with only 3 of them occupied, such a delay is not justified, furthermore the quality of the food does not match the price.

31/07/2025: Enchanting, finally a different experience than usual. After a long walk through the Cascine, we truly rested and refreshed, eating and drinking beautifully (farro salad with stracciatella and a vegan burger, accompanied by delicious fruit and vegetable smoothies), before continuing on to visit the touching art exhibition. We'll definitely be back, hopefully often!

26/07/2025: tl;dr please do not come here, stay away!. Food was overpriced, and just not good compared to other restaurants we’ve had in Florence/Italy. What an utter disappointment and let down! We read online and found this place on a few lists and were so excited to have another great authentic meal in Florence. But, this place was anything but good. The butter and anchovies were ok but it basically comes ready made and needs to be plated. The porcini mushroom pasta was just awful. It didn’t have much mushroom taste and was a bit soggy. The fried chicken and zucchini flowers was not fried well and had a pretty overwhelming oily taste. The chicken was not even a whole part it was just various parts that range from a single drumette to bits of leg that didn’t even make a whole one. The chicken also had a certain taste that bordered on stale and was not fresh in our opinion. The Cacio e pepe was ok but we’ve definitely had better. I will not disagree with another reviewer who said it was really pretty bad. There was not much pepper taste and the pasta itself was way too al dente that it seemed undercooked. Really do yourself a favor, save your money, and don’t waste a meal here. It was so disappointing and such a let down. This is especially so after having had such a great meal at another Florentine institution, Sostanza. BE WARNED! STAY AWAY!

25/07/2025: Almost overlooked while searching for a restaurant. Very good food. Extremely friendly service. We commented on the excellent quality of the tortellini during the service and received a free plate. Where else in Italy can you experience something like that? A secret favorite!!! Highly recommended. We're thrilled.

01/08/2025: Comí aquí con mi familia de vacaciones. Nos quedamos impresionados por el valor y realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida. El servicio era bueno y el robot un toque agradable que los niños realmente disfrutaron.

30/07/2025: The 'All you can eat' experience was worth our money - it included all menu options (except for desserts and drinks, which is totally fine) for only 16€ pp. The fish seemed very fresh and everything we ordered was tasty. Service was amazing, too. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. The little robot which brought some of our plates was a cute addition! I recommend.

08/09/2025: The staff is embarrassing, you always have to wait 10-15 minutes

05/09/2025: The men's bathrooms are old and very dirty. Toilet seats are missing along with any sanitization system: I had to go to the next service station.

12/06/2025: Elegant and incredible service!! Our meal was wonderful and perfectly prepared. Our servers wine recommendation was spot on. Live entertainment. We truly enjoyed our meal!! They made a beautiful salad especially for me that wasn’t on the menu. Very personalized service!!

17/05/2025: The free salmon tartare was great. My wife’s pasta w 🦞 also very good as was the scallops appetizer. But my main which was seafood risotto came out cold with raw mostly cuttlefish on top. Incredibly disappointing! The room & atmosphere is astounding. Yet, the description of this dish and what was served was terrible. They comped the dish. We stayed here before in 2019 and again for 5 nights in a massive suite. We will always stay at St Regis while in Firenze. We will not return here for dinner. BTW we are pescatarians and live on raw fish sashimi @ sushi bars in Hawaii. This plate was not described properly on the menu.

30/08/2025: The totem for ordering is a good idea, but the service is slow and there are few staff, especially during busy times like Saturdays. The products are good quality, but the service needs improving. A single person on Saturdays can't cook and run the cash register at the same time. The piadinas, however, are good and of good quality.

27/08/2025: We were passing through Florence and Lucca and came across a place that was perfect for a quick meal. The food was excellent, too.

21/07/2024: I met this restaurant and its fabulous staff a couple of years ago, a very welcoming environment, an environment that becomes familiar over time. I would say an environment of times gone by, you become part of everyday life with them, you get to know each other and thus fabulous friendships are born. Working nearby, every now and then I treat myself to a quick greeting or lunch from Gianluca. Both he and his wife or the legendary Francesca pamper every customer, they are always cheerful, fun. 13/07/2024: Ambiente buio,sporco,vetrina con cose indefinite al suo interno,titolare che cerca di fare il simpaticone....piatti a dire poco indecenti...sono rimasti al 1970....pasta precotta e raffreddata sotto l acqua fredda dato che ha perso il suo colore e scotta la salsa messa sopra e tanta acqua sotto alla pasta stessa un roast beef indecente l unica cosa buona erano le rape rosse comprate gia cotte....l acqua ti arriva in bottiglie di vetro con il rigo del calcaree l olierà in tavola con olio che sembra di semi di infima qualità....un caffè che sembra d orzo....va bene che a pranzo il costo è di 10€ ma piuttosto un panino . Ci siamo capitati una volta ma sarà anche l ultima. Il posto avrebbe anche chance dato che è vicino ad un Grande ospedale (Careggi)ma così No.

04/09/2025: The place is always clean, everyone is very kind and always smiling, the pizza chef is excellent and the pizzas are super, and coming from a Neapolitan, you can believe it.

06/09/2025: A historic ice cream shop in District 2, but also in Florence in general! The atmosphere is spacious and, above all, clean. The payment system is automatic, and the staff never touches money. There are many flavors to choose from, both classic and innovative. I asked for a small cone, but the cashier, in a commanding tone, offered me 1 flavor = 3 euros, 2 flavors = 4 euros. Since I was craving chocolate and cream, I chose to spend more and struggled to finish it because it was so large. I recommend it.
