The restaurant is very nice and cozy, the people who work there are very nice and treated us well. The food came quickly, and it was clearly home made, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is light but happy at the same time. I strongly recomend this restaurant to families, couples and individuals who want to have a memorable dinner.

Usually, in historic and crowded places you find touristy places, but here you can savor authentic flavors, cooked with care and passion. The place and the flavors took me back in time, to my childhood. It's hard to find places as authentic and cared for as these these days, from the evocative retro location to the fresh flowers on the table. As for the food, what can I say? 10 out of 10. We had two first courses, a pinci with wild boar and tagliolini with nettle and arugula pesto, and for the second course, a guinea fowl with vin santo and a sliced ​​steak. Exceptional family owner restaurant. Glfood was amazing. Service was good. And all at a reasonable price. House wine was worth it. I had "Robertas proposal" AKA the set menu which was brilliant. Tuscan starter and mushroom lasagna was amazing. Braised beef was delicious, a dessert the best I've had. Vegetarian wife was also very happy.

With so many restaurants to choose from in Montalcino, we spontaneously decided on this unassuming place tucked away on a side street at the edge of town. In retrospect, it was an excellent choice. Even upon entering, you can feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere. You're greeted personally and immediately feel at home. We opted for the recommended set menu and were treated to a typical Tuscan appetizer, a superb porcini mushroom lasagna, a classic Tuscan roast with potatoes, and an authentic tiramisu. Finally, the delicious dessert arrived, made with real mascarpone and eggs – just like you'd expect in Italy! The set menu cost a mere €35 per person (as of 2026), which is more than fair considering the quality and local specialties. We also enjoyed a Rosso di Montalcino, which was excellent value for money. The service was friendly, attentive, and surprisingly quick. The menu was delicious and delicious. Anyone who wants to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine in Montalcino, rather than just tourist fare, should definitely give this restaurant a try.
