I recommend this typical restaurant in Montalcino. Cozy atmosphere, there are not many places, it is advisable to book. Dishes prepared with excellent raw materials. Nice, attentive and kind service. Their menu with 3 courses and dessert included is interesting! We will be back!

Excellent restaurant and impeccable local service in the center of Montalcino. Typical Maremma cuisine from lasagna to picio to wild boar... although very refined and well-finished, worth trying and with a good choice of wines.

Bell'esperienza. Nello stesso giorno ci siamo andati a pranzo e cena. Pranzo con due piscine al ragù di cinghiale. Per cena una ribollita classica Toscana servita con olio e cipolle a parte e un petto d'anatra. Rosso e Brunello di Montalcino al bicchiere..servizio perfetto. Prezzo adeguato

02/04/2024: Restaurant with an outdoor terrace that has spectacular views. The food has a good quality and they have correct prices. The best were the ravioli with truffle, and the tiramisu which was incredible. The waiters could be kinder.

03/04/2024: I know Chianti very well. The Barbischio tavern is certainly among the top 3 locations in Chianti for quality of cuisine and adequate prices, in addition to the fact that it is a very nice and intimate restaurant. Claudio has a disarming professionalism and love for what he does in the dining room. Everything at the top!
21/10/2023: Ancora una volta, in occasione della nostra partecipazione a L’Eroica di Gaiole, abbiamo voluto cenare in questa tradizionale osteria, memori delle ottime esperienze precedenti. Nonostante la serata fosse particolarmente impegnativa per il gran numero degli avventori, la qualità non è venuta meno, sia per quanto riguarda le pietanze che il servizio. Ottimi i primi (in particolare gli “ignudi”) così come i secondi (il “peposo” rimane il mio preferito). Anche la carta dei vini è di tutto rispetto. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.
