31/12/2024: Dinner with friends: table outside with a beautiful view to the east of the hills with the village of Tignano and the Castello del Nero illuminated by the red light of the sunset. Aperitif, welcome tomato soup and really good pizza: thin, perfect: we learned that a very fine flour is used and you can feel it. In particular, my pizza with buffalo mozzarella, caramelized onion, carrots and sesame is one of the most surprising in taste and good that I have ever eaten. Equally good are the gnudi with truffles and the millefeuille with strawberries. They were very organized and paid particular attention to the food for the celiac person who was with us, serving dedicated pizza, bread and desserts. I definitely recommend it, and I also recommend a walking tour of the village of Barberino which is beautiful and well kept.

20/04/2025: A total surprise: away from the center of Siena, a wonderful restaurant - excellently presented, delicious dishes. I liked the pasta with curry and tuna tartare - well-selected flavors, modern cuisine, absolutely phenomenal. In addition, a wonderful, hospitable, homely atmosphere. Something wonderful!

I think it is a wonderful place where you can enjoy a nice cool in the summer The appetizers and first courses are excellent. The handmade pasta is stuffed and not excellent We did not take the second course so I cannot say... it will be a discovery for the next time! 06/04/2025: Fabulous evening. Crostini unconventional and really good. The only Tuscan classic, the "black" one, is deadly. Then we tried a trio of screaming first courses. Their signature dish is the pappardelle alla rosticciana. Screaming! The other 2 were excellent with a special mention for the tagliatelle with guinea fowl, raisins and truffle!!! Mama's mascarpone made to perfection! All fantastic! SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

11/03/2025: This was by far our favorite meal in Italy! The owners and staff were all so kind and the food was extraordinary! The owners do a great job of bringing traditional Italian dishes to a fine dining experience. We loved trying different dishes such as sheep tartare and venison raviolo! Well worth the trip from Firenze and would recommend to anyone in the area!

31/03/2025: Characteristic trattoria in Viareggio, "famous" for its long booking times (about a year): its fame proved to be such as, from the service to the food consumed, everything was of a high standard. The restaurant consists of a single small, very characteristic room (due to the quantity of photos, wines and anything else present on the walls). The menu consists of numerous small courses of tasty appetizers followed by a first and second course of your choice. In my case I took paccheri with sea bass and gurnard and a mixed fried fish with paranza, both as simple as they were good. Excellent desserts at the end of dinner. The price? €45 with wine (plenty), water and coffee included, I'd say very good. The service was courteous and quite fast. If you want to wait... it's a must try.

06/04/2025: Sono cliente da 20 anni e ho sempre apprezzato il buon cibo servito e la cordialità dei camerieri, invece oggi mi sono ricreduto. Prenotato per le 14.00, ordiniamo antipasto e primo dicendo alla cameriera che avremmo ordinato successivamente il secondo. Chiediamo per il secondo e ci dicono che la cucina è chiusa alle 15.30. Ordiniamo il dolce e il caffè e di solito lasciavano una bottiglia di Amaro e Limoncello che ha fatto sempre piacere, ma per la fretta di sbaraccare i tavoli non ci hanno portato nulla. Se devo mangiare con l'imbuto me ne sto a casa altrimenti non accettate prenotazioni dopo un certo orario.

05/04/2025: we booked a table well in advance for Saturday evening. we arrived and not only was there no table, but the place was very chaotic, crowded and despite having called the waiter several times, he didn't bother to apologize or fix the situation.

03/04/2025: I am writing this review because, as a lover of round pizzas rather than slices, this is the only place that makes me love pizza slices!!! They are simply delicious, tasty, with some of the best dough I've ever eaten and fillings with quality ingredients! I will definitely be back soon to try their desserts too! Another plus is the staff, super cute, kind and helpful girls, they always welcome you with a smile!

19/03/2025: Oven that offers the choice of many types of bread. Schiacciata, pizza, desserts, ready meals and the possibility of eating outside in the designated space. I recommend it!

31/03/2025: We chose this place encouraged by the high ratings (how is that possible?) and the nice atmosphere of the square. The atmosphere is cool, the wine is good, the service is nice, but the food is unfortunately a disaster. The wonderful-sounding descriptions were tastier than their versions on the plate. The appetizer with terrible bread (does anyone still serve that?), the pasta was very weak, the sauces were separated, the ragu was not next to the ragu. The bill was inadequately high in relation to the quality. We suggest everyone avoid this place - although maybe we were very unlucky that day or the cook had a bad day.

20/03/2025: Really very good food! We were very happy to read the daily menu! Varied menu with a number of specialties from both traditional cuisine and the new “Nouvelle Cousine”. All the dishes were great, delicious and super freshly prepared! The restaurant is cozy, modernly furnished and has a very nice outdoor terrace. Hard to compare with other Pisan restaurants. We were very satisfied: good price-quality ratio, nice and careful service, finely selected wine. Definitely have to be recommended.

25/03/2025: I'm almost 48 and I've never eaten lampredotto... I know it's not normal! Well... I wanted to try it and during a trip out of town a dear friend (who I love more than ever) put his indicator on and went out to Valdichiana to let me taste it. When I saw the kiosk and the writing "Lampreghiotto" I felt like a kid at an amusement park... when I tasted that super michetta with lampredotto (that melted in your mouth) and the green sauce (delicious but not invasive)... I had to hold back the tears... a unique experience... to be repeated absolutely!... compliments for the quality of the product and for the courtesy in the service!!!
