13/10/2025: A highly overrated place, forgettable service, 4 out of 5 wine lists requested were missing...dessert with red vermouth... The food was nothing special...wild boar ribs not divided...what are we going to cut them with with an axe!!? The second course was brought without cutlery...requested 3 times. Insufficient!!!

28/09/2025: We celebrated a communion/confirmation today... top notch. Truly excellent food, fast service. Friendly staff. Fabulous location. Everything was well-kept. We couldn't have chosen better.

20/09/2025: Far too many mosquitoes. The hotel is located next to a swampy area. We were there in September and had over 40 mosquito bites by the day we arrived. After that, we mostly stayed indoors with mosquito repellent. The pool was also really dirty; they should really put a net in it every now and then. It was completely full of dead insects, needles, and leaves. The apartment is good, with air conditioning throughout, spacious, and well-stocked. The food is also really good. So yes, good food, good sleep, but a shame about the mosquitoes and the filthy pool.

25/10/2025: I have been going to Castiglione della Pescaia for 4 years now, and every year, I go to the Fortezza for dinner, they make spectacular crab meat gnocchi, fabulous cod, without excluding the rest of the menu, truly good.

22/10/2025: Good pizzas and calzones! Very good value, the staff was nice and friendly, they do not speak English very much, so just be prepared to communicate with them.

04/10/2025: I went to this restaurant for a business dinner with some vegetarians. I had a mixed menu, a vegetarian appetizer, octopus, and a vegetarian dessert. I found everything exceptional, especially the appetizer and dessert. I must admit, I wouldn't have expected such a delicious vegan dessert. The service was excellent, and the evening was very enjoyable. I'd recommend it. Five stars, because in Siena, restaurants offering a different kind of cuisine, with very good dishes, and perhaps even vegetarian options, aren't often found. The prices are typical of a restaurant. It's not like you'd expect them to be a trattoria.

19/09/2025: A charming location, perfect for enjoying an aperitif among the olive trees. The place is well-kept, clean, and tidy. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and are the first to taste their dishes, able to explain their composition and offer pairings if you're unsure. The wine selection is good, and the staff is equally knowledgeable about their presentation. A pleasant discovery. We'll definitely return.

08/11/2025: My favorite place in Florence! A welcoming atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, capable of combining professionalism and warmth (including a very welcome surprise candle and dessert). Each dish is a small experience, explained with passion and accompanied by perfect pairings. That extra touch that makes an evening truly special.

24/10/2025: We had the tasting menu, and it was very good, the sommelier was very informative and helpful. Would definitely recommend

11/10/2025: I stopped here for a quick lunch with a friend. We had fettuccine with white ragù, a typical Tuscan dish, and pork with fennel, with two glasses of wine and then tiramisu. Excellent. Truly excellent. Lots of people stopped by for sandwiches, too, so it must be all very good. It's an osteria, so to speak, but the food is top-notch. The waiters were all very courteous and friendly. I don't know the price because my friend paid. I'll be back.

08/08/2025: If you are looking for authenticity with fresh and delicious products: LOOK NO FURTHER!!! Sandwiches with ingredients cut in front of you...nothing better. All of Italy gathered in this place. Our waiter kind and helpful. 👍👍👍

21/07/2025: The products here are great, high quality and worth trying, which earns this place an extra star. But the service was a letdown. We were just two people, and it felt like we weren’t worth the staff’s time. Before us, larger groups were getting enthusiastic recommendations, explanations, and genuinely warm service. When it was our turn, the atmosphere shifted completely. No suggestions, no effort, just a cold, dismissive interaction that made us feel unwelcome. If you’re not part of a big crowd or don't look snobby enough, don’t expect the same treatment.

23/08/2025: An Irish pub open until dawn! Perhaps because there's a hostel right in front, I saw a lot of travelers from all over the world. Perhaps because it's so wine-centric, it had a pub vibe that's hard to find in Italy :)
