One of my absolute favorite places!! Excellent food, great beers, friendly, helpful, and (over time) affectionate staff. In addition to their "pub" dishes, which are excellent and meticulously prepared, they've experimented with some truly authentic recipes: pici, succulent meats, delicious side dishes.... And in the evenings, they even make pizza! The location is extraordinary (in the former social center of the Villaggio Boracifero), with a veranda overlooking the fumaroles and a large outdoor space for the warmer months. It's almost a 3-hour drive from my house, but I always find an excuse to go at least once a year: it's impossible to do without these days!!! WELL DONE to all the ladies who work there, and WELL DONE to the owner, who had a dream and made it happen!!

We stopped here after a hike to the Fumarole Park for lunch/snack and were thrilled! The service is extremely friendly. You can eat inside or outside, and given the beautiful day, we took advantage of it. The beer is sublime and you can taste it's homemade. I personally recommend the Therea (amber), but I would have tried them all without hesitation. The food is also delicious, with well-made crostini and the leg cooked in beer. Super competitive prices and excellent value for money. I hope to return!
