17/05/2026: Business dinner with a vegetarian colleague. In Florence, it's a real challenge to find a restaurant that offers traditional vegetarian dishes other than just pasta dishes. Here, I found appetizers and pasta dishes, with cheeses, vegetables, and traditional dishes like ribollita and acquacotta. Classic desserts with a twist. Appetizers, pasta dishes, and dessert, plus house wine and water, cost €90. Very friendly staff and a classic atmosphere.

06/05/2026: We went there to eat the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina. The food and service were great, but when we paid the bill, we were a bit shocked! We shared a Bistecca. The whole thing was supposed to cost €104. The server brought us the largest Bistecca they served, without even mentioning it. There were two smaller sizes available. I find that completely unacceptable! As a tourist in Florence, I feel cheated!

If you like to be respected, don't go there.

04/05/2026: A restaurant right in the center of Castiglione della Pescaia. The center itself is charming, and the restaurant is equally charming, very well-maintained with stone walls. The staff are incredibly friendly! They were fully booked, and they were disappointed to find us a table. We left, and I believe the owner, Thomas, saw us from afar and said he'd managed to find us a spot, so we returned for dinner. They were truly super kind. Fast service, clean restaurant, and good food.
03/05/2026: Compliments to the entire place!! The waitress and wait staff were superb! Perhaps the best table service I've ever experienced in terms of kindness and helpfulness.
My two-year-old was treated like a prince, with smiles and games, and the staff attentive to his every need.
The food was all truly excellent! I didn't have time to take photos of my full plate because everything was so good 🤣
A very beautiful and distinctive place for its location and setting.
We'll definitely be back!!

Pici with artichokes (which I absolutely recommend) was truly amazing!!
My son had the duck breast and was very, very satisfied. The place is very small, with a Tuscan inn feel, the owner is friendly and kind, and the dishes are freshly prepared with care and passion, which you can taste in the flavors. I highly recommend it, and I hope to see you soon!

08/05/2026: We arrived at 905pm. There were no other tables waiting for food. The older male gentleman said the wait would be 20 mins which was fine. After 25 mins, we asked about the food, and was told it needed more time. That's when the experience went downhill. The shorter, younger, male - the only guy in the kitchen wearing a white chef's hat - impatiently tapped the bell repeatedly until we walked up to the counter to take the food, like he was summoning a dog. And he had a face. All these happened when the older female and older male adults (whom I presume to be the owners) are not around.
The food was fine, but to the owners - word of advice - fire the worker. He is pissing your customers off.

Typical Tuscan food that satisfied our palates (not to mention the desserts: excellent)...
Finally, a place where you can feel at home and where the welcome is certainly there: unusual, but we loved it.
The owner is a real nice guy!!!!!
The girls are also lovely, kind, and very friendly.

05/04/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lucca! The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the waiter very friendly! The setting was lovely! I highly recommend it.
P.S.: Just a quick note about the dessert, which wasn't quite what we expected (walnut ice cream), but the waiter offered us two limoncellos to make up for it… what more could you ask for… 😄👍

We've always had good food, but this time we felt they'd achieved excellence in every way: generous and consistently delicious dishes, but above all, obsessive customer service, exceptional staff, and the owner, despite it being a Saturday evening, provided incredibly fast service and everyone was eager to know if everything was to our liking. Rating: 10

09/03/2026: As soon as we entered, we had some doubts about the restaurant's quality, but we later changed our minds.
Upstairs, you enter an old apartment, with Arte Povera furniture, terracotta floors, and very tastefully decorated.
The tables are spaced just right, and there's little noise, so you can talk comfortably.
A family-run restaurant, very cheerful, friendly, and attentive to the customer's needs.
A real competition between the tagliolini with truffle and the fritto misto, chicken, rabbit, and vegetables!
The glass of house red wine was also good.
The price was reasonable for the quality of the dishes.

You have to read the menu, pay, and wait your turn. There's no table service.
The food is very good; it's an absolute must-try culinary experience.
The falafels are a must!!!
For €20 per person, you can eat well.
