Their product counter is spectacular, with their exquisite, delicious, superlative schiacciata! Various fillings available, generous portions, and a very affordable price!
Their desserts are also exquisite!
It's definitely worth a stop!
26/10/2025: The new management has brought the historic Secchieta refuge back to life with a lovely stall selling its own produce and efficient service... the cycling jersey corner is very nice.

21/09/2025: I went just at evening open, and the attention was excellent. Even though I don’t speak Italian, the young guy made a good effort with English. Everything went smoothly, and I took a pizza and a beer to go.👍

29/10/2025: the waiter told us to wait for 10 mins for a table, then sat a party the same size as us who came in after (both of us had no reservations), and then told us that they don’t have any tables for the night. 100% do not come here!

27/08/2025: First of all, I have to say that gourmet pizzerias need to stay quiet. Lory's pizza is without a doubt the best in Viareggio. The owners are friendly, down-to-earth, and welcoming, and the place has a slightly 1980s feel. Never change, you'll be great.

The crepes are truly delicious.
28/09/2025: We paid 40 Euros for two really small portions of the worst lasagna I’ve ever eaten (probably a frozen one?), one small beer and one Aperol Spritz. We stopped here because it was one of the only open places and we were really hungry after a long hike, we didn’t expect anything fancy at all, just good local cuisine, but it really wasn’t worth it at all.

Also did a cooking class while at the resort - was a once in a lifetime experience with Carmelo and Ambra.
Absolutely recommend!

rarely leave negative reviews, but this visit was too frustrating to ignore. The service was incredibly slow — despite the restaurant not being very busy. When the food finally arrived, it was cold.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. They serve us with the wrong plate.
For the price they charge, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
30/09/2025: Good atmosphere also for nice dinners, good restaurant service, attention to details, the cost is a little on the lines but the raw materials make up for it

We ate a lot with the set menu, and the dishes were excellent.
€15 for a first course, second course with side dish, water, wine, coffee, and liqueurs (all plentiful).
Highly recommended. Quick and easy service.
