Rifugio Secchieta is a must-see every time I'm in the area. I had one of the best schiacciate I've ever tasted here: a wide selection of flavors, various combinations, truly inviting! It's always hard to decide which one to have! Their homemade desserts are also not to be missed, always a great way to end a meal. Sometimes, I specifically choose a trek in the area just to have an excuse to stop for lunch here!!

A fabulous schiacciata at the top of a fairytale mountain! The staff is helpful and courteous. And there are also lots of homemade treats...assuming you still have room in your stomach after the schiacciata...!

03/05/2026: We just left La Cranceria, our first time there. Fantastic place, we tried both the pizzas and the cecina, which were truly top-notch. The cecina with extras (onions, zucchini, pumpkin cream, and leeks) was fantastic. You can sit down and enjoy their delicacies. I had the chance to chat with the owner, and we agreed on how this "humble" food is actually healthy and nutritious, even great for kids. We complimented them on it; for us, it was a great discovery. The food is truly good and at very fair prices, plus the staff is incredibly friendly. We'll definitely be back!
