22/08/2025: The bread tasted odd, the pasta was chewy and the server forgot a few entrees. Server was patient, atmosphere was nice, but not a restaurant I would recommend.
22/08/2025: The entrance isn't very promising (from the outside), but once inside, everything changes. Beautiful atmosphere with very welcoming and polite staff. What can I say about the food? It was worth all the miles you've traveled to try the famous Cacciucco. 10/10.
Very generous portions and low prices!
Everything was so good, we'll definitely be back.

The result is certainly above average of the places I have been.
The dessert is also very good!

22/08/2025: I may be a little biased because I go there often, but the food is delicious, the price is right for what you eat and the staff is truly exquisite. I recommend it to anyone who wants to go and eat good fish.
21/08/2025: Every year I come on holiday to Follonica, I absolutely have to try the caciucco, and every time this seaside trattoria doesn't disappoint: generous portions, excellent quality fish, a fair price, and impeccable service. Since I have two children, they made me a pair of spaghetti with clams in a small portion, rightfully charging me less for the dish (few do that). The caciucco, along with the fried fish, gets a 10/10 rating. I'll be back.

27/07/2025: We had a great time! The food was overall very good, with some truly excellent highlights: the homemade breadsticks were delicious, and the panna cotta with mousse was a very pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and efficient.
The only small flaw: the Fiorentina steak, while well-cooked and flavorful, wasn't as tender throughout as we expected.
Overall, a great experience that we highly recommend.
Price was reasonable.

With all the best for Sirena, but I don't understand.
16/08/2025: A glass of water for a 3-year-old costs €0.50.
Since I had three pieces of cake, two coffees, and a glass of water, I politely asked if I could have a tray to carry everything to the table. They annoyedly replied that they could give me one, and I was holding my 3-year-old son by the hand.
In my opinion, kindness is a very important added value. Unfortunately, it's a rare commodity these days.

A place that caters not only to celiacs, but to anyone who loves authentic, healthy, and authentic artisanal pastries.

31/05/2025: Amazing location, super friendly staff and Marco is a fantastic cook. Worth a small detour from the via degli Dei and take a rest day by the lovely pool if you have time. There's a fishing lake down the hill you can catch trout for lunch at!

02/07/2025: If you are ever in the quaint town Barga, stop off here at this local spot. It’s a combination of a market, a bar, and a place to eat food. They have pasta (obviously), but other items too. I ate the Caprese salad and my husband had the hamburger (he said it was delicious).

13/05/2025: Pizza al Taglo Da Gottero is a simple but inviting place, where at lunchtime a good smell of pizza comes out. As for it, it is not very big, but it is still very good, hot and crispy. The prices are in line with the standards of pizza al taglio in the area. The service is fast, since they already have the pizzas ready at the counter and you only need to heat them up. In my opinion it is an excellent place if you are in the area and want to eat something hot and fast.
