18/08/2025: In a quality establishment like Villa Grey, you can't find stained parquet floors, like coffee stains, and then claim they won't come off, or find a loose toilet seat. We'll take action! The breakfast service is questionable, but lunch on the beach and dinner are excellent.

11/06/2025: English: Villa Grey, was a beautiful surprise, the structure very well cared for in detail, is less than 20 minutes walk from the central Via Carducci, the room we booked has a balcony and is located on the third floor, various amenities: coffee machine, complimentary water, sky, bathroom products, slippers for the beach and the room and a beach bag. We took advantage of the reservation with beach included, and we were more than satisfied with this too, a beautiful location (the beach is in front of the hotel (, well kept, two sunbeds, two deckchairs, table, safe and a chair, towels included. The beach restaurant is excellent! All the staff both at the hotel and on the beach are kind and helpful. Paid shuttle service, and free bicycles. My husband and I usually stay in 5-star hotels, but I must say that at Villa Grey, we did not regret having chosen this accommodation.

02/08/2025: A decent 2-star hotel in the center of Subbiano. Large rooms, slightly dated furnishings, decent cleanliness, and friendly staff. We had a great time.

07/09/2025: Don't expect a refined atmosphere or gourmet dishes; the location is simple, and the dishes have authentic, amazing flavors. We were in Lucignano for a short vacation, and after dining at Trattoria Del Gallo on Wednesday evening, we returned on Thursday and Friday evenings. The portions were generous, everything was perfect, from appetizer to dessert, and the bill at the end of the meal will pleasantly surprise you. If you're in the area, it's a must-try (on Friday evening, the wild boar stew is spectacular). We'll definitely be back.

07/09/2025: The food probably saves the place but the owner is not at all friendly and the hospitality leaves much to be desired. Finally, the location is small, perhaps creating intimacy, but for me it's a bit cramped.

21/08/2025: At least the night I went, I had a pizza that deserves a second look. The crusts were undercooked. The appetizers were good, although a bit limited in quantity. I'll be back for the first courses, which, honestly, I was more inspired by.

14/08/2025: We had a great experience this evening at Pizzeria Spaghetteria! There was 7 of us and each meal was fantastic! And to top it off, the service was also excellent. Tommy was incredibly polite and kind to everyone at our table. He made sure that everyone was satisfied. Deserves more than 5 stars!

27/08/2025: Let's face it, this is a place for couples. It's a real place, one of those convenient ones just outside the Siena hubbub, where you stop and find a bit of everything: a bar, a minimarket, and even a lottery. The workers eat there for lunch, and that's always the best guarantee that the food is good and they pay attention to the details. I liked the pizza; it's easy to digest and well-topped; it's neither thick nor thin, neither Roman nor Neapolitan; it's their pizza, and that's fine. The other dishes coming out of the kitchen are also made with care, and the portions are filling. The service is quick and friendly. The prices are more than fair.

30/07/2025: A terrible evening (unfortunately, in almost every way). Three friends and I booked dinner at this restaurant in Cecina, known for its renowned pinsa al metro. Before moving on to the many negatives, I can confirm that the product is high-quality, digestible, and very good. However... the "buts" are too many, too serious, and they'll make me never return. First, when booking, I made sure to ask if there was air conditioning, and to my great disappointment, I found the place rather stuffy (light air conditioning, almost nonexistent). That said, they seat us, and the waitress shows up to take our order only 15 minutes later (imagine 15 minutes in 35°C weather without even a glass of water). We order a total of 3.5 meters of pinsa, of which 1 meter is reserved exclusively for one of the lactose-intolerant diners. I make sure to ask that he arrive at the same time (or before) the first pizzas, as otherwise he wouldn't have been able to "taste" a slice of ours. Of course, his pizza arrives, not only 45 minutes after the others, but one side of it has mozzarella. That should be enough, right? And instead, the beer (14 euros for Menabrea) is presented in a very sad carafe and clearly and heavily watered down: undrinkable. Finally, when it was time for coffee, the waitress decided to bring not 4 (as requested), but only 1. The other 3 arrived only after another 10 minutes. Overall result: 2 hours of dinner in unbearably hot weather 1 diner hungry, or almost 30 euros per person, without even the courtesy of removing the portion of pizza the lactose-intolerant customer hadn't touched. Never, never, never again (despite the pinsa, alas, excellent).

13/07/2025: Serata terribile (purtroppo, sotto tutti i punti di vista o quasi) Io ed altri tre amici prenotiamo per cena in questo locale di Cecina noto per la sua rinomata pinsa al metro. Prima di passare alle molteplici note dolenti, confermo che il prodotto sia di alta qualità, digeribile e molto buono. Però... i però sono troppi, troppo gravi e mi spingono a non tornarvi più. In primo luogo, al momento della prenotazione mi sono premurato di chiedere se vi fosse l'aria condizionata e, con mia somma delusione, ho trovato un locale piuttosto afoso (aria condizionata leggera quasi inesistente). Ciò detto, ci fanno accomodare e la cameriera si presenta a prendere l'ordine solo dopo 15' (immaginate 15' con 35° senza nemmeno un bicchiere d'acqua) Ordiniamo, complessivamente 3 mt e mezzo di pinsa, di cui 1 destinato esclusivamente ad uno solo dei commensali intollerante al lattosio, alché mi premuro di chiedere che quest'ultimo giunga contemporaneamente (ovvero antecedentemente) alle prime pizze in uscita, in quanto, in difetto, egli non avrebbe potuto 'assaggiare' una fetta delle nostre. Ovviamente, la sua pizza giunge, non solo dopo 45' dall'arrivo delle altre, ma una parte della stessa presenta della mozzarella. Basterebbe questo, no? E, invece, la birra (14 euro di menabrea) viene presentata in una tristissima caraffa e palesemente e pesantemente annacquata: imbevibile. Infine, al momento del caffè, la cameriera decide apoditticamente di portarne non già 4 (come richiesto), bensì solo 1. Gli altri 3 arriveranno solo dopo ulteriori 10'. Risultato complessivo: 2 ore di cena con un'afa insopportabile 1 commensale digiuno o quasi 30 euro a persona senza nemmeno la cortesia di espungere la parte di pizza nemmeno toccata dal cliente intollerante al lattosio. Mai, mai, mai più (nonostante la pinsa, ahimè, eccellente)

25/04/2025: Very nice, welcoming place. The very nice owner and the super friendly waitresses, we went as a family with two children and a couple of friends with a girl. Excellent food and super affordable prices. I highly recommend.

31/08/2025: A well-stocked rotisserie; the roast chicken and potatoes are excellent, but everything else is good, too. You can also eat on-site.

13/08/2025: I walk in at 6:30 PM. It's open. There's a guy behind the counter. "Hi," I say. I hear a mumble in response. He walks away. Then he comes back. I have my hand raised, in case he didn't see me. "Excuse me..." I say. He walks away again. At that point, the grocery store nearby took my money. I've never seen anything like that.

24/06/2025: The place is always well stocked, especially for workers, the quality of the food could be improved but the quality/price ratio is excellent. Parking and large spaces are the strong points, speed in service.

24/05/2025: A cheerful evening as always at ROBY AND HIS CHEERFUL STAFF. Excellent meat with side dish/appetizer etc. all for 40 euros per person we will definitely be back great ROBY

15/08/2025: Booked a week in August. The property was well-maintained, check-in was quick, and the parking lot was well-located, though not very close to the entrance for those parking in the back lots. The large pool, though limited, offered sun loungers for all guests. Overall, the room/apartment was decent, with a comfortable bed, a decently sized bathroom, a small but fully equipped kitchenette, and adequate air conditioning. The balcony was spacious, and the property was well-located near the sea and the town center. Beach service was basic but adequate, with entertainment throughout the day. The breakfast was excellent, with both sweet and savory options, and a wide selection. There's a poolside bar with good service and a good selection of products. The morning cleaning service was "bulky." If breakfast ends at 11:00 AM, there's no way someone will be knocking on the door at 9:00 AM to tidy up the room. The soundproofing was terrible; especially when someone closes the door, it sounds like a bomb is going off in the hallway. The elevators were too small to carry luggage. Tennis and swimming instructors, massage and spa services, and bike rentals are available for a fee. Plenty of entertainment for the little ones, including dedicated children's areas. Overall a decent holiday.

08/08/2025: We stayed there for a week and it was lovely. Everything you need for a wonderful week was there. Across the street is a restaurant that serves really good food.
