05/10/2025: The gluten-free treats are exceptional. The pizzas are also great, but it's best to call before you go and make sure they have the dough. The pizzas are good, and the service is friendly. The place is very small, so make a reservation or you might not get a seat.

05/10/2025: You have to eat at Luigi's at least once in your life... Tuscan cuisine just like our grandmothers or even our great-grandmothers used to make, with a few twists that you'll have to try if Luigi is kind enough (and he is) to share them. Absolutely not to be missed.

20/10/2025: The best aperitif in Tirrenia both for the drinks taken care of by Laura (very attentive and attention to detail), and for the food taken care of by Luca (fried pasta, Pisan pizza, stuffed pizza, fried polenta, etc. etc.), and then there is also the excellent ice cream always made by them.

25/10/2025: By far our favorite restaurant in Lucca. We just wrapped up a month in Lucca La Dirtta became the weekly date spot. Food is amazing with a modern twist and the wine pairings were excellent. The staff was exceptional and very gracious with our 4yr old daughter.

20/10/2025: We had dinner at this place, chosen partly because of our program (4 restaurants), and I must say it was a great choice. We were welcomed into a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were truly kind and welcoming, making sure you were comfortable throughout your stay. The location is very characteristic, like an osteria! The quality of the dishes is truly excellent, with top-quality ingredients! Everything is well-balanced. We recommend everyone to try this experience at Osteria la Dritta!

23/10/2025: A lovely, buzzy cafe with delicious coffee and pastries. We were staying nearby and went there nearly every morning for breakfast. Service was good and we particularly enjoyed being served by Ricardo who was very professional but also great fun.

23/10/2025: A baptism cake didn't turn out as I asked for. A fondant layer almost 1 cm thick. The sponge cake was dry, and there wasn't enough cream inside. Almost no one liked it. Not to mention the excessive quantity. For 16 people, over 4 kg of cake. A bit excessive. This is the first time I've used this pastry shop, and it's the last. I don't recommend it... Response to your feedback... The cake was actually chosen tall (cylinder) and not wide, as it arrived (disc). To avoid mistakes, I left a sample photo. I asked for Chantilly cream, not whipped cream. I asked for a specific color, and it arrived completely different. I've eaten fondant cakes on other occasions, but I've never encountered any issues with dry sponge cake or excessive fondant coating. If a cake is liked, people are happy to ask for seconds. No one liked the cake, and this is a sign of your failure. I suggest changing careers...paying so much money for nothing is just too much. I definitely won't be coming back to you in the future.

27/09/2025: A super quaint pub with great service. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food is reasonably priced and impresses with its great taste and good, fresh quality. Whether you come for dinner, a nightcap, or even breakfast in the morning... there's always something to suit your taste. There are also sweet treats. A great snack platter is served with the aperitif. You're sitting right on the street, but that's not really a problem. We felt very comfortable here! The Aperol Spritz here is VERY good and fizzy, and at €5, it's really delicious!

28/10/2025: I had a birthday party here on October 24, 2025, and it was a complete disaster. I spent €35 on an appetizer of chicken livers and bruschetta in the center of the table, and then I had frozen focaccia with various low-quality cold cuts. Afterward, they brought a meat-based first course (very salty). I strongly advise against coming here. (Thanks for the reply, you're the ones who ruined my birthday. Have a nice day.)

31/08/2025: Very nice location. Excellent service. But we were disappointed with the food. We had a few appetizers and the fish soup, but none of the four of us liked it. One of us even had stomach problems right after dinner. Too bad.
