It is a bit pricey, but I am 100% willing to visit again. The seafood vongole was excellent, but the lasagna was especially delicious. It was the best lasagna I have ever had in my life. The signature wild boar was just so-so.

My favorite restaurant in Florence. I ate here three times with my family everyone loves it. My kids ages were 8-13.

The food is absolutely amazing! Tasty and feels homemade, if you really wanna try authentic Tuscan cuisine this is your place! Hospitality matched the flavors excellent service!

I went there on the recommendation of my accommodation owner, and it wasn't salty or greasy at all; it was so delicious... It really suits the Korean palate, and the staff are friendly. Also, the bread served before the meal is warm and crispy. We ordered seafood pasta, carbonara, apple pie, and two juices, and the bill came to 56 euros. I want to go again next time I visit Florence. However, the apple pie is a bit different from Korean apple pies; it feels more like moist apple bread. It tastes good though.

Amazing service, staff was very friendly! We celebrated birthday of our friend and staff brought a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday song 😃 they also helped with choosing best wine and food to go with it. I tried octopus dish and tiramisu, they were good.

Incredibly delicious pasta. Fast and friendly service. Pleasant, air-conditioned and clean restaurant.

The staff were very friendly, and the prices were more than reasonable considering it's located between the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. I highly recommend the Garfagnana mesciua, a perfect balance of ingredients; despite the heat, I ate two.

Il Ricettario was one of the highlights of our time in Florence. It’s a small, quaint restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, conveniently located near the heart of the historic center. From the moment we arrived, the experience was outstanding. Our server, Stefano, provided exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating, even offering us samples of the two house wines so we could choose our favorite. Both wines were excellent. The food was equally impressive. The pasta is handmade in-house, and you can absolutely taste the difference. We ordered the aglio e olio and the carbonara, both classic Italian dishes, and they were prepared beautifully. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the flavors were authentic, and every bite reflected the care that went into the meal. To top it all off, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Florence with warm hospitality and excellent value, I would highly recommend Il Ricettario. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Florence.

Very good Tuscan cuisine, very friendly and polite staff, great pasta, desserts with a compliment from the restaurant - bread, olive oil and salt :)
