08/08/2025: This is the real cathedral. In Florence, visit here first

06/08/2025: Good food, but be careful because they charge a cover charge without prior notice. There were four of us, and we were alone in the restaurant. Each glass of wine was 6 euros, with fair quality and less than half a glass filled. We had four pizzas (medium), two glasses of wine, one Coca-Cola, and two waters. It cost us 73 euros. When you look at the menu, the prices are reasonable because there are pizzas for 8.5 euros (we had two of these), but then they charge you for the cover charge. In any case, it's very close to the center, and it's understandable that the prices are high, but you feel a bit ripped off... Cozy place and decent service.

20/07/2025: Finally, a review of the lunch. A super relaxing weekend. The property is meticulously maintained. We had a classic room with two windows and a wonderful view of the valley and the sea. The garden is beautifully kept, and the pool is a wonderful place to enjoy in solitude (since there are only four rooms, I don't think there's ever a crowd). The hot tub is also convenient. We appreciated the local products. We'll be back. As for the restaurant, we had lunch with friends. It was a well-deserved Michelin-starred lunch. Excellent value for the garden produce and delicious fish. The discovery of local products is appreciated, which sets it apart from other Michelin-starred establishments (where you could be anywhere). The dishes make you understand where you are. The chef, who comes to the tables to say hello and comment, is well done. The waiters were also attentive and knowledgeable. We enjoyed a tasting of their non-alcoholic cocktails. A real treat.

07/07/2025: We had dinner on Saturday night, I correct myself, it wasn't a dinner, it was a fairy tale! In addition to the beautiful location with a fabulous view of the Magra valley and the sea in front, the place is very well-kept and finely furnished. We were pampered and spoiled by staff who were very attentive to our needs. We opted for the "Apuan Alps and Neptune's fingers" route, what can I say, an explosion of flavors with every course, a journey through the flavors of our region and neighboring Tuscany with a wine pairing that enhanced it even better. Truly a round of applause to the chef who managed to make us a fantastic evening with his creations.

10/08/2025: A fantastic place! For the atmosphere, the service, the wine, the punch!!!! My favorite thing? After a plate of clam pasta and fried sardines washed down with a good organic white wine, enjoying a punch on a deckchair by the river... what more could you ask for?

19/07/2025: Bar, pizzeria, ristorante. Riesce a soddisfare tutti. Personale gentile, sorridente e attento, ti mette subito a tuo agio. La piazzetta all'aperto è accogliente, con un bel verde curato. Ottime le pizze, con i diversi impasti, ma anche tutto il resto. Bistecca, dolci, insalate stuzzicanti. E la focaccetta iniziale....che dire, superlativa!! Consiglio per una serata al fresco. Ah, dimenticavo, la piazzetta è sempre fresca, anche nelle serate afose. Noi ci andiamo spessissimo.

12/08/2025: Unfortunately, our booking for the vineyard dinner was unexpectedly cancelled. I had booked by phone, but apparently, a payment link was sent that we never received. Without payment, the reservation was cancelled, but we weren't informed of this. When we arrived, we were unaware of this. The staff reacted curtly, saying it wasn't "their fault" without offering any assistance. They made no effort to help us or offer us an alternative. Due to the unfriendly attitude, we decided to leave. It was a real shame, especially considering our expectations for the evening.

12/08/2025: The tables near the kitchen are too hot and uncomfortable. White pizza with smoked salmon and arugula: the salmon is not good; it should be served very thinly sliced, not chopped.

10/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria restaurant, generous portions, more than fair prices, absolutely essential reservations, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent seafood dishes but no shortage of meat options.

05/08/2025: We’re going to this restaurant last Sunday, and it was a really great night ! Our waiter, Ronell, was able to welcome us properly. The meal was very pleasant and it was excellent. 14/08/2025: A simple and perhaps slightly dated restaurant, suitable for those who care about substance. I found the seafood appetizer, the spaghetti allo scoglio, the tuna steak, and the house desserts excellent. In addition to the cuisine, the service was impeccable, so much so that we complimented the manager. The quality/price ratio is amazing. Highly recommended!

30/06/2025: So at first, we are professional eaters, from 3 Stars Michelin down to Leberkässemmerl at the trainstation. In Giglio we try a lot of different Restaurants, the most are expensive and have nothing special. This we try: La veccia pergola i think the best in harbour... La Grotta del pescadore the captain should fish again by his self... La Margherita one of the worst i ever was in italy! And i was also in caorle... Doria much mistakes, tourism restaurant Sopravvento he wants to be a star restaurant and it is not... Maria fine and real restaurant, 100% italy! Zio meino real, good, cheap. Not for tourists, for lovers of italian cuisine! Da fiore di bartoletti arenella bad,bad,bad...

09/08/2025: everything was delicious, a friendly place with great people. I only gave it 3 stars because 1 plate of pasta and a ½ bottle of water cost €11... a bit too expensive for an osteria in my opinion, especially if you go there often because you work in the area.

24/08/2025: A remarkable gem nestled among the peaks of Elba. We're about 200 meters above sea level, and you can choose between seafood pacchero or linguine with wild boar ragù. A must-visit if you're passing through.

23/08/2025: Excellent!! A lovely place. Even though we booked inside, they had indicated a table inside, upon our arrival they seated us on the terrace. The cuisine is authentic, very authentic. No frills, excellent ingredients, expertly prepared. We ordered - bread and oil (perhaps the bread could have been toasted for a tastier taste) - fish meatballs - pappardelle with wild boar - octopus, cheese and wine And two glasses of Elba red wine. Everything was superb! The staff were friendly without being pompous. We loved it!
