13/11/2025: This really is a gem of a restaurant. No pretence, just really good food and drink at a very reasonable price. It really puts to shame some of the more expensive restaurants we used during our trip.

08/11/2025: I ate a focaccia with cecina and a slice of pizza that reminded me of my childhood, quite good considering the fairly competitive prices.

13/10/2025: As soon as we sat down at the table, the power went out, but the owner handled the situation quite well. We ordered two starters: pappardelle with wild boar and picci with white ragù, both good and plentiful. Then, after just the right amount of time, the tagliata and fillet arrived (delicious). With two glasses of Chianti, we spent less than €40 each. The place is small, but the food is good and the service is fast. We recommend it.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Some dishes were incredibly overly salty, and we sent one first course back. It was added to our bill. It's not a financial issue, but if I spend money, I expect quality food and service. It's a shame because other dishes were worth it. We won't be returning.

26/09/2025: Olivum is my favorite restaurant. At least once every change of season, I go to this enchanting place to taste delicacies that create a symphony. I was there in the fall of 2025 and I still remember that mushroom appetizer with multiple textures; the most delicious and amazing dish I've ever eaten. I was there again in the summer of 2025. Here, you can enjoy a tasting of land, sea, or a five-course special, including dessert. The chef manages to enhance the flavors of each dish. The price is more than fair for the quality. Even the bread basket is wonderful! Not just bread and schiacciata, but also small assorted pastry treats. I return often and will continue to return. Congratulations 👏

17/10/2025: A Hidden Gem I Regret Not Discovering Sooner Honestly? If a friend hadn't dragged me there, I probably never would have ended up there. And what a huge mistake that would have been, I'm almost ashamed of it. The place is a small, intimate and well-kept gem, perfect for a quiet evening. The only "flaw," if you can call it that, is that seating is limited and reservations are almost mandatory to secure a table. But it's the food that leaves you speechless. When the tartare arrived, the delicate aroma of the prime meat foreshadowed everything else. The first bite was dazzling: the tenderness of the hand-chopped meat perfectly contrasted with the crispy garnish. Each subsequent dish confirmed this exceptional level. I turned to my friend and simply said, "You were right." Impeccable service.

27/08/2025: If you like charming places, don't eat on the terrace; the interior is a corner of Pisa worth visiting. The two girls who are waiting tables inside go out of their way to make sure you don't want for anything. The food is spectacular; the baked potatoes, seasoned with rosemary, are a delicacy, the gnocchi were delicious, and the tagliolini with truffles and truffle pearls is a delicacy not to be missed. Even the house white wine is a great accompaniment. The zuccotto was a surprise to top off a great meal with coffee. A great experience that I highly recommend.

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

18/10/2025: Il Sordo is always a guarantee! Traditional Tuscan dishes, with a menu that changes based on the finest ingredients... from appetizers to desserts, Marco and Giovanni truly know how to spoil us. We always find such friendliness and a welcoming smile... highly recommended!

20/10/2025: It'll probably be different in the evening (reading the various reviews), but the lunch menu is truly sloppy and embarrassing. Gluey spaghetti carbonara, fried egg pieces, spaghetti all in oil all clumps. A slice of meat half raw and with an unpleasant texture. Fries that taste like fried donut oil. Little attention to the customer when everything is left on the plate without asking why or understanding if something was wrong... but then again, compared to other restaurants that fill up for lunch, this one was unfortunately empty (only 3 tables). No vegetarian options for main courses, nor typical Lucchese dishes. I don't recommend it.

20/10/2025: I'm a vegetarian and I've finally found some great, and not-so-ordinary, alternatives. I'll definitely be back. The mushrooms are excellent!

19/09/2025: Having discovered them a few days after they opened, we returned for the umpteenth time a few days before they closed. There wasn't a single time things went poorly; the staff were friendly, approachable, and offered a selection of wines that weren't among the top labels but were excellent quality and priced. Incredible selection, excellent taste. 💚🤍♥️ Unfortunately, ordering and paying aren't as fluid for non-native speakers, but I still tried my best to speak Italian. But: You understand more than you can say – which means: Please advise the staff not to get upset about customers until they're no longer in the store. Both times, there was no one behind me when I started ordering. On our second visit, where we were again served by the employee who was apparently in a bad mood more than once, the customer behind me kindly helped out. Conclusion: Tarts – made with LOVE. Just sold WITHOUT love. Thanks to the makers of these delicacies. 👌 And: There's easy parking in front of the store. The opening hours are up-to-date online. 👍

29/09/2025: Extremely friendly employees work patiently and quickly to sell incredibly delicious sweet and savory baked goods. Their friendliness is hard to beat. An outstanding place for a daily breakfast, with low prices, a true asset to the area.

08/11/2025: An excellent restaurant serving traditional cuisine, with dishes prepared with quality ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Throughout the year, they also offer seasonal themed menus, such as those featuring pumpkin or mushrooms, which are always tasty and thoughtful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, rustic enough to make you feel right at home. The service is attentive and courteous. Don't miss the cooked shoulder tortelli with truffle butter!
