Typical Tuscan tavern, or rather I would say Florentine, with certainly traditional dishes even if the menu is not very varied.
The bruschetta with lampredotto is good, even excellent.
The pappardelle with wild boar is very good.
The truffle ravioli are delicious.
House wine not great.
In my opinion the bill is a little salty in the end, but it still feels good.

A discovery that my family and I are enthusiastic about, in a street that is not very central in Florence. The most genuine traditional dishes, excellently prepared, tasty and plentiful. The mushrooms on fried polenta were exceptional, as was the braised meat, the latter recommended among the dishes of the day. The service, like the cuisine, is frank and truthful. A little place to always keep in mind.

Perfect location also for a quick meal, superb quality of raw materials. Friendliness of the people who encourage you to return as soon as possible. An exquisite stew with peas, exceptional baked potatoes. It deserves the best. House wine that takes you directly to the most beautiful vineyards in Tuscany. And finally, truly unique cantuccini and vinsanto, with a vinsanto of 21% vol. Well done!

There are a few things to improve: appetizer sliced too thin and not very assorted. Tagliatella needs to be wrinkled and of superior quality. Too cooked. Good ragu. The second course and the appetizer are served on wooden plates. Not exactly new. Grill to review the cooking. The other dishes ok. Excellent fried foods. Highly priced wine list. However and how to eat at home healthy cooking, little oil and the right salt.

I went for lunch, a welcoming environment with typical tavern decor which I like, while waiting for the first course they offered me a very good and very welcome crouton with meat sauce, then I ate spaghetti with octopus, both the spaghetti and the octopus were also excellent and finally with the coffee they even offered me two cantucci. I felt at home, ate well and spent the right amount.
