09/10/2025: Excellent pizza, try the Sunday menu

04/09/2025: Very nice restaurant, extremely friendly and helpful staff. We even got to chatting after closing time. I had the tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and the portion was very generous and tasty. My wife was very pleased with the seafood salad and shrimp cocktail. The almond parfait was delicious. Highly recommended.

19/10/2025: I came back to Lorenzo’s with my friends for tiramisu as I really liked the place and the taste. But this time the service was very disappointing. We did not feel welcomed at all. We just wanted to buy a coffee and tiramisu over the counter, when one of the waiters insisted that we should find a table and wait there. And so we waited: 10 or 15 minutes for somebody to take our order and another 20 minutes to receive three coffees and tiramisu. The waiter and the people at the counter felt very passive aggressive towards us, probably because they were overwhelmed with too many orders, but that’s not a reason to behave so badly.

20/09/2025: Very pleased with our visit! Got sold by the meat plate pictures and didn't get disappointed. If you're a guy who loves meat, you absolutely have to go here :) Good variety of drinks, also non alcoholic, good atmosphere of the square, and very friendly staff, thanks for serving us so nicely yesterday!

11/09/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance and I won't miss a chance to return! Fabulous pizza, generous portions, and a relaxing atmosphere (September still allows for these pleasant outdoor evenings...)

22/06/2025: Truly excellent quality pizza and excellent products. Compliments to the pizza chef and all the staff really with all my heart. From Peschiera Borromeo to here the best pizza. We will definitely come back and see you next time. Always keep it up at the top 🔝

18/04/2025: Fantastic pizzeria, close to home! I always order the Capricciosa, and it's delicious, my son likes the Sfiziosa; they deliver to your home, they are punctual. We really needed a pizzeria like this! p.s. they know me as Meazza.

15/10/2025: Fantastic sea food restaurant! The food and wine here were delicious - every dish was was thought-through without overthinking, original and experimental without overdoing it. Every ingredient made sense and the flavours were amazing! We were served delicious bread along with our dishes which we used to sweep up the last bit of sauce on our plates. Sitting at the "chef's table" we could watch the magic being done right in front of us. The only weak point was the service which seemed a bit overwhelmed - it wasn't always possible to get their attention. If we ever come to Palermo again, we will definitely come back!

14/10/2025: Suck the brain. A bold motto - as is the tasting menu. Unfortunately, bold does not mean good in this case. The menu started off with a small fried triangle that contained burning hot oil to burn your entire mouth. Taste was fish/prawn - alright. Off to a good start. Next up were raw prawns with an oyster mayonnaise that didn't taste like oyster at all. Actually quite good but more focus on the prawns would've been great. Next we had to "suck the brain". The question is: Why? Just putting two severed prawn heads on a plate and telling us to suck it is just low effort. There was no special taste, smart modification or even spice on it. Just cooked heads. This is their statement dish and it just doesn't make sense. The mackerel with tuna was good although the oregano sauce was tasteless and thin. Then it got worse. Pasta with cocoa sauce, a slimy piece of prawn (intestines?) and a few pieces of lobster. Terrible dish. Unbalanced, way too rich. It is not fun to eat and it tastes outright bad. I get the idea but the execution is just not right. The pasta itself was on point though. Next up squid. The 100% guarantee of sea-based food didn't matter anymore apparently. Chicken jus and sweetbread. This dish was pure fat and two of us couldn't finish it because it was so rich. Even the mushrooms tasted just like fat. Again, not enjoyable at all. The fish of the day was more mackerel and it came with sardella and raisins. The sauce tasted like the cocoa sauce from the earlier dish again and didn't harmonize with the fish at all. Bitter, unpleasant. Then we were served some blueberry(?) sorbet with olive oil and capers. We got no explanation what it is (even though we asked, they just left). The sorbet wasn't sweet and adding the capers made no sense. It was neither good nor enjoyable. The highlight of the menu was the dessert. Not only because you're finally done with tasting the menu but because it's actually good. Buttery, sweet, smooth with a nice crunch. The staff was unmotivated, unfriendly and most of all absent. We weren't served any drinks for well over an hour. They just put the plates on our table, read the dish name and left immediately without any explanation of what we were served and what the chef wants us to experience. At least we got more cutlery for every dish than we could ever use (two forks and a knife for the pasta?). The wine recommendation was a frizzante which was fine. Overall I recommend staying away from this restaurant and go find another one. Palermo has so much more to offer.

25/09/2025: I believe that, at least for Sicily, this is the best restaurant in our region... We're talking about a refined atmosphere, top-notch staff, not to mention the quality, presentation, and flavor of the food... Prices are reasonable for the quality, cuisine, and freshness of the products (we're talking very high quality) they serve. I will definitely return on my next visit to Palermo and I highly recommend trying it.

10/09/2025: I came here for dinner and was already satisfied: - the service was polite and helpful - the food was truly delicious and the ingredients were of high quality - the restaurant was clean, spacious, and comfortable - the prices were expensive, however I believe the value for money deserves a 4-star rating.

07/10/2025: I have eaten here many times. The food is always good, the service is great and the atmosphere is great. My friends got big lunches and they were very pleased. I got a pizza, it was very fresh and delicious.

19/09/2025: The roof terrace on the sea front it’s just amazing! However, the food wasn’t great - only 3 involtini di pesce spada with no even a side salad for 18 euros!

08/10/2025: A beautiful place, you can feel the love for their guests. The food is excellent, simple Italian, including pasta, fish, and meat. The prices are more than reasonable. Seating is outside, sheltered from the wind. If there are more than 10 people, it's best to call ahead to be on the safe side.

06/10/2025: A small cafe serving typical Sicilian food. You can customize the dishes. A nice and friendly lady invited the chef to recommend dishes. We were also served by a young girl, probably the daughter of the owner – she was very friendly and always smiling. The place has plenty of tables outside, the food is good, and the cold drinks are affordable. We paid 40 euros for three courses and drinks. We will definitely be back. 👍 And a note: As I said, we came back twice as much, so it wasn't as pleasant as the first time. The waitress sells and charges whatever she wants. The water behind the counter in the cupboard costs 2 euros, and the woman charges 3 euros (this happened twice, so it's not a mistake). We paid 2.5 euros for ice cream on the spot, and my niece paid 5 euros for the same ice cream when she arrived 10 minutes later. This Italian lady charges whatever she wants, so please check the current price and what you will pay later at the register. As Italians do 👎, but not all of them, no offense to Italians, at least I had such a case 😕 in this place 👎
