17/04/2026: Barrel44 offers a magical atmosphere where you almost feel like part of the family, so much so that I decided to organize a birthday party in this place, which I already considered precious.
Marcello and his staff were delightful in their attention to every detail, from the welcome to the food and drinks!
Everything was amazing! After all, let's not forget that for years it was an undisputed mainstay of Jackass, a meeting place for Palermo's nightlife.
Adding to the vibrancy was Marina's charisma, who accompanied the evening with her voice and her charm!
Everything was perfect, and my friends were super happy too!
16/04/2026: A welcoming atmosphere, suitable for those who want a tasty aperitif accompanied by a good cocktail.

Value for money: Average, 6/10, €25 for one person is definitely on the pricey side for a standard African dish which I have had for less than 10€ in other restaurants.

14/12/2025: It was a horrible experience. We ordered two dishes, a water, and a cocktail. These two dishes arrived half an hour late! They weren't very hot either; the one with the meat had two pieces and wasn't even good. The other one, with the couscous, was better. The bathroom was dirty, the service was terrible; when these two dishes arrived, the cutlery was still missing, and the water and cocktail never arrived! And then we had to report it at checkout because they also charged us for the drinks, which never arrived. Overall, it's a shame because it could be a good idea to eat African food, but the quality and service were nonexistent. So don't go there; it's a waste of money, and we paid dearly for it. A total disappointment.

28/04/2026: A spontaneous visit. Absolutely recommended. A great selection of cakes, pastries, and savory items. The coffee is fantastic. We also had pistachio croissants. The price, service, and friendliness were outstanding. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: I dropped in by chance for dinner with a group of friends. The place looks nice, spacious, and rustic. The appetizers and pizza are really good, and the pizza doesn't leave you feeling heavy or thirsty. The service was a bit chaotic, but it was Saturday, so that's understandable. They were quick and efficient, however.

The pastry shop is good, served by the attentive young people at the counter, who are always kind and generous with information upon my requests.
14/10/2025: The pastries are delicious; every time I've found a wide selection, everything is truly delicious. The deli also deserves a mention, and after tasting them, I always use them for events. Plus, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff make you even appreciate a quick cup of coffee! Highly recommended!

03/06/2026: She was surprised. The sausage and mushroom pasta was delicious, as was the wood-fired pizza with a grain dough. It's a shame the wild boar ragù ran out...a reason to return.
14/05/2026: very kind waiter and chef! even with a language barrier we were helped amazingly! the amount of steak we received for that price was unbelievable good! we will also come back here to try the pasta!

31/12/2025: A beautiful location for events like weddings. The building is old, has a lovely garden, and inside, the walls are frescoed and the rooms are large. There's also a very charming fireplace in the winter. I've been to two weddings, one in summer and one in winter, and personally, I preferred the summer one not only because we were outside but also for the quality and quantity of food. In the winter, we were inside, and we guests were separated into two rooms. The bride and groom were in the central room, where we couldn't even see each other from our seating. The food was mediocre, the cake and desserts were good, and the entertainment was lovely.

12/04/2026: A very family-friendly pizzeria, with excellent, well-topped pizzas. Unfortunately, the staff isn't very efficient: only one competent adult waiter, followed by a bunch of kids who don't even know how to manage tables.
We arrived at 8:30 PM, ate appetizers at 11:00 PM, and pizza at 11:30 PM.
The service needs to be reviewed, but otherwise it's acceptable.
11/04/2026: For a family evening in a friendly and quiet place. Good pizza and very competitive prices. Very friendly and attentive service. Very homely.

11/09/2025: What can I say? A lovely, simple pub with a wide selection of beers and a good price. If you're looking for a quick, casual drink, this is the place to be! There's no table service, and the space is small. If you're comfortable with sidewalk seating... you're welcome! A great place to grab a beer with friends!
