14/11/2025: In Palermo for just one night, near the hotel I found this lovely, welcoming place, with two young waiters who make you feel at ease and good food. Excellent value for money. A little gem: when I got to the hotel, I noticed the tiramisu (delicious) I'd eaten was missing from the bill. I went back to pay for it, but with a big smile the waitress thanked me and said it was on the house... 🤩 What can I say... try it and believe it!

15/10/2025: A family dinner introduced us to this restaurant. Located on the busy Via Montepellegrino, it's easy to get to, but parking is a bit more difficult. The location is welcoming and elegant, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The dishes—we had appetizers, pasta, main courses, and pizza—were beautifully presented and of good quality and flavor. Good value for money.

24/11/2025: Excellent food, excellent service. The atmosphere is a bit cramped and noisy. It has both indoor and outdoor tables. Prices are naturally reasonable for the quality. Each dish costs no less than €25. Reservations are recommended, especially if you want to secure an outdoor table in the warmer months.

16/11/2025: It was absolutely fine! The food was fresh! The portion sizes were also appropriate! Kind, helpful service!

06/11/2025: A delightful restaurant. Intimate, tastefully and wittyly decorated, with a welcoming, family atmosphere. We ate wonderfully and were completely satisfied with everything.

10/11/2025: Small room (no. 110) the wardrobe door did not open completely as it hit against the bed... in the evening/night we warmed ourselves with an electric heater as the heat pump heating was only turned on after our insistence, but we turned it off almost immediately as the fan was making an unbearable noise... what can I say... excluding the restaurant which is truly impeccable both in terms of service and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, as far as the hotel is concerned it certainly cannot be classified as a 4-star... I will not return and I do not recommend it:

22/11/2025: Looking to have a glass of evening wine while raining, relaxed small bar that shares an interior door with a fashion atelier. Looks like they have a light lunch menu and also a bottle shop.

16/11/2025: We had lunch on the terrace. The dishes were vegetarian and very good. Be aware that the portions aren't very large; we ordered one main course and another to share. The waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed and weren't very welcoming, but it's still a place we recommend.

15/10/2025: Fantastic sea food restaurant! The food and wine here were delicious - every dish was was thought-through without overthinking, original and experimental without overdoing it. Every ingredient made sense and the flavours were amazing! We were served delicious bread along with our dishes which we used to sweep up the last bit of sauce on our plates. Sitting at the "chef's table" we could watch the magic being done right in front of us. The only weak point was the service which seemed a bit overwhelmed - it wasn't always possible to get their attention. If we ever come to Palermo again, we will definitely come back!

14/10/2025: Suck the brain. A bold motto - as is the tasting menu. Unfortunately, bold does not mean good in this case. The menu started off with a small fried triangle that contained burning hot oil to burn your entire mouth. Taste was fish/prawn - alright. Off to a good start. Next up were raw prawns with an oyster mayonnaise that didn't taste like oyster at all. Actually quite good but more focus on the prawns would've been great. Next we had to "suck the brain". The question is: Why? Just putting two severed prawn heads on a plate and telling us to suck it is just low effort. There was no special taste, smart modification or even spice on it. Just cooked heads. This is their statement dish and it just doesn't make sense. The mackerel with tuna was good although the oregano sauce was tasteless and thin. Then it got worse. Pasta with cocoa sauce, a slimy piece of prawn (intestines?) and a few pieces of lobster. Terrible dish. Unbalanced, way too rich. It is not fun to eat and it tastes outright bad. I get the idea but the execution is just not right. The pasta itself was on point though. Next up squid. The 100% guarantee of sea-based food didn't matter anymore apparently. Chicken jus and sweetbread. This dish was pure fat and two of us couldn't finish it because it was so rich. Even the mushrooms tasted just like fat. Again, not enjoyable at all. The fish of the day was more mackerel and it came with sardella and raisins. The sauce tasted like the cocoa sauce from the earlier dish again and didn't harmonize with the fish at all. Bitter, unpleasant. Then we were served some blueberry(?) sorbet with olive oil and capers. We got no explanation what it is (even though we asked, they just left). The sorbet wasn't sweet and adding the capers made no sense. It was neither good nor enjoyable. The highlight of the menu was the dessert. Not only because you're finally done with tasting the menu but because it's actually good. Buttery, sweet, smooth with a nice crunch. The staff was unmotivated, unfriendly and most of all absent. We weren't served any drinks for well over an hour. They just put the plates on our table, read the dish name and left immediately without any explanation of what we were served and what the chef wants us to experience. At least we got more cutlery for every dish than we could ever use (two forks and a knife for the pasta?). The wine recommendation was a frizzante which was fine. Overall I recommend staying away from this restaurant and go find another one. Palermo has so much more to offer.

01/12/2025: ...Intrigued by the videos, we went to this fry shop... what can I say... Very good... we ordered a buttered arancini and a pizzotto... we were satisfied. We will definitely be back. But if I may make one point... I must say that the buttered arancini contains black pepper. Highly recommended place...

29/11/2025: Let me start by saying, "Congratulations for everything," from the fast, attentive, and courteous service, to the clean, fresh location, and, of course, the delicious traditional food. We had the trio of sandwiches, delicious (milk, panelle, eggplant, and croquettes), a delicious buttered arancini, and the fried pizza, light and beautifully seasoned.

17/11/2025: Overall, I was very satisfied, but I'd like to elaborate on a few things: I'll start by saying that the place wasn't very well-maintained, but despite that, the service was good. The food was very good; the ravioli were juicy and flavorful, and the WenZhou noodles were absolutely delicious, although I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who doesn't like garlic. Finally, the Chinese noodles were good but nothing special. The meat was good, but the broth was really bland in the pork version, while the veal ones were definitely better. A great experience and an excellent alternative to other places that are now overcrowded.

01/11/2025: The food is amazing and the best Chinese food I have tried in Italy. The prices are more than fair. So if you want great food please come. But the ambiente and the service is maybe not the best for people who appreciate these kind. Than just take the food out, but you have to come here :)
