13/08/2025: A small, unassuming restaurant located in a small alleyway in the center of Palermo. Quite far from the tourist hustle and bustle, it's quiet, with about ten tables outside. It offers simple but tasty and well-seasoned Sicilian cuisine. A very fresh and delicious spritz for 3 euros, dishes costing 12 euros on average, and very friendly staff. Truly a little gem.

31/05/2025: Title: "The Mystery Sandwiches – Chronicles of Three Hungry Teachers" On a sunny Sicilian afternoon, when even the cats seem to melt on the sidewalks and the shops close their shutters like Egyptian tombs, three schoolmates, armed only with backpacks, irony, and desperation, venture along Corso Umberto I in Cinisi. The sun beats down, hunger pangs gnaw at their stomachs. Time has passed, 2 PM has long since struck, and their hopes are as faint as worn chalk. "We can't eat here anymore!" exclaims the first, in a tone reminiscent of a Greek tragedy. "Not even a sandwich in sight..." sighs the second, ready to give up. But the third, the most intrepid of the trio, peers down the street and... sees it. A sign. A flash. "The Art of Bread": the only remaining bastion in that gastronomic desert. A vibrant bakery. Busy. Illuminated by smiles and the smell of baking. The three of them, as if they were Tomb Raiders of flour, throw open the door like in a Western. Inside, the girls at the counter, true priestesses of irony, welcome them with an energy not seen on the first day of school. Two of them order sandwiches. But the third, the slightly more poetic (or hungrier) one, goes all out for the Sicilian sfincione. One bite and... BAM! Ecstasy. A warm, flavorful caress on the taste buds, with that soft base that seems to be made of clouds mixed with tomato and oregano. And since destiny had been rewritten, a Coca-Cola was a must. But not just any Coca-Cola: one with your name printed on it. The mission begins: "Find the name of your heart." She fishes it out. But the name is... the wrong one. "Nooooo, not that name!" the other two shout, as if they'd seen an ex at the supermarket. Laughter, teasing, and in the end? All three of them buy it. Like any self-respecting legend, the obstacle turns into a celebration. Honorable mention to the owner and staff: ironic, brilliant, with a quick wit and the desire to make every customer feel part of a little floury fairytale. And so, between laughter and crumbs, the teachers discover a place they'd never been before, in a part of the course they'd never been before. Because sometimes the best roads are the ones less traveled. Congratulations to L'Arte del Pane: for the sandwiches, the sfincione... and the unexpected culinary adventure. We'll be back. But this time... with more names on the Coke. 😄

09/09/2025: I've been to SOLLEONE Palermo and I have to say the food is truly excellent: generous portions, well-seasoned meat, and flavorful sandwiches. The fries were crispy and tasty, really well-made. The wait was moderate, all in all acceptable considering the place was packed. The only flaw: the confusion, but that's understandable given the influx of customers. Compliments to the staff who never stopped: organized, fast, and always available, despite the heavy workload. 🔹 In summary: ✅ Excellent food and generous portions ✅ Super-efficient staff ⚠️ Very crowded and a bit noisy Recommended for those who want to enjoy a casual evening with rich and flavorful dishes!

06/09/2025: The food is good, but the service leaves much to be desired: you have to ask for everything, from cutlery to plates. To make matters worse, only after I got home did I realize I'd also paid for a beer I hadn't ordered.

12/09/2025: Long waits and high prices. I paid 10 euros for a Biancaneve with three slices of prosciutto. Disappointed.

27/08/2025: We chose the fixed-price menu, but in hindsight, it was a poor choice. Sure, you eat a lot, but you expect more when you go to a restaurant for dinner. Everything is edible, and the products seem fresh, but the kitchen clearly failed to transform the ingredients into something truly delicious! Shrimp drowned in abundant pink sauce, a very dry sardine roll, sliced ​​salmon and tuna comparable to what you find in the supermarket, a banal crostini, a good bluefish meatball, an edible seafood salad, mussels and mini arancini were swapped for something else without our knowledge (they couldn't change the menu on the website, we were told). The mezze maniche were good, the caserecce were edible, the rice was just plain wrong. The fried fish was one of the worst I've ever tasted, and the swordfish was edible: we tried the main courses but left almost all of them. The sorbet was good, but I didn't receive a digestif. In short, a lot of food, but nothing special or inviting. I wouldn't recommend the menu at all. Maybe in the future I'll try an à la carte dish. There were four of us, and we were all disappointed, probably because we had different expectations.

01/07/2025: Tempi di attesa troppo lunghi per i primi. Lo sptriz era acqua. Seduti fuori il ventilatore spento, chiediamo che venga acceso ma puntualmente si staccava dopo poco. Non il prossimo locale che verrà in mente certamente.

24/08/2025: Great food in a beautiful tucked-away location away from the crowds. Every dish was memorable, beautifully presented, and wait staff very attentive. Sublime cod with caramelised onion and zucchini and prawn risotto. Highly recommended.
