30/05/2025: The hosts are the excellent, especially the one from Gambia. It is a wine bar and he knows all the wines from all the regions of Italy. Also he has a great smile and speaks English perfectly. The bar is in a chic neighborhood and fills up on the sidewalk with chic Palermo citizens.

09/09/2025: We had a terrible experience at Gagini which was a big disappointment as we were really looking forward to it for our last night in Palermo. We waited 1.5hrs for our starter and another 30 mins for our first course. We cancelled the second course as we did not want to wait any longer. It was an extremely disappointing experience and I would not recommend a visit.

03/09/2025: Excellent rotisserie chicken; I appreciated the vacuum-sealed packaging. The side dishes were good: a choice of potatoes and a small rotisserie. However, I'd say that overall, I wasn't entirely satisfied.

15/07/2025: On Bagheria's main street, a pastry shop with a good selection of sweet and savory treats. I had a ricotta croissant, which I'd say was good, but the coffee was really hard to drink. It only cost 2 euros, like being transported back 10 years.

02/09/2025: Good food, good service, 49€ for 4 people drinks included. We were all beyond full.

29/08/2025: We went here for lunch and got a table quickly. The staff told us Spritz cocktails were €5, so we ordered. The food was fine, nothing special, and the eatery itself feels a bit shabby and sometimes noisy. When the bill came, they charged €7 for the Hugo Spritz. I pointed out that they had said €5, but they insisted only Aperol Spritz is that price. Honestly, there’s no real difference between the two besides the color, so it felt misleading. They refused to honor what was said, which left a really bad impression. To make things worse, they don’t have prices written anywhere, so you have to verify before ordering. Very unprofessional. Because of this, they lose a lot of points with me, and I wouldn’t return. I even uploaded a photo of a nearby sign showing that prices for Aperol and Hugo Spritz are normally the same.

24/08/2025: The best sandwich I've ever eaten. Excellent service, very kind staff, and everything was delicious. There were four or five of us, sandwiches, and a crepe, and I couldn't choose which was my favorite. Congratulations, we'll see you again very soon.

29/08/2025: Donna Lavia's agriturismo is run by a husband and wife team, Karin and Luigi, whom we had the pleasure of meeting personally during our brief stay. They are deeply passionate about what they do and welcome their guests with attentiveness, helpfulness, and courtesy. We enjoyed their beautifully landscaped garden, which is meticulously maintained. The property, clean and efficient, seems to have stood still in time. The suite we stayed in is located in a magnificent tower that silently dominates the landscape with windows on all four sides. The sunsets are magnificent. Thank you, Karin and Luigi.

21/08/2025: Never again! Three colleagues and I went for breakfast at 7 a.m. They probably mistook us for tourists to be fleeced. Exorbitant prices for completely frozen croissants. Each item was at least 50-70 cents more expensive, and on top of that, they even charged you a €1 cover charge per person. Unacceptable. Never again.
