23/11/2025: Excellent pizza, friendly and helpful staff. Recommended.

17/11/2025: We stopped by to pick up a few slices of pizza to go. The quality of the pizzas was really good, nothing to complain about the taste. What left us very perplexed, however, was the bill: 7 slices of pizza and 2 small beers for €3 each, for a total of €38.10. For a takeaway pizza by the slice, it seemed honestly excessive. It's a shame, because the product is worth it, but with such high prices, we'll hardly be returning. UPDATE: The owner, after reading my review, contacted me immediately and very politely. She explained that there had been an error in the calculation and apologized for the inconvenience, inviting me to stop by when I could to refund the difference. A gesture that demonstrates seriousness, transparency, and attention to customers. Now I can say that, in addition to the excellent quality of the pizzas, the service and customer service are also top notch.

15/10/2025: The quality of the Zimat ice cream was excellent, especially in combination with the whipped cream. The price-performance ratio was also impressive.

19/09/2025: Visited here on our last day (forgot to take a photo of the gelato/ ice cream) and had a cone. It was my least favourite experience of ice cream in the week in Sicily. It was the most expensive (although still very fair - €3.20), most places are €3. Price definitely not an issue. Slightly smaller amount of ice cream than other places we visited. I would’ve happily paid more because the ice cream quality was some of the BEST we’d had. It’s stored in the steel (deep) tins which I believe is indicative of them making it themselves / higher quality. Overall, I would’ve just hoped for a bit more ice cream and would’ve happily paid more. My hopes were high but felt slightly let down. Maybe others will have a better experience. I’m rating 4 because of the ice cream quality being the most important part.

27/05/2025: Esperienza sublime ,servizio attento ad ogni esigenza del cliente .Cucina di alto livello .Ho gustato un flan di verdure come antipasto e un filetto delizioso al vino rosso e cipolla caramellata Dulcis in fondo una torta di mele con gelato vaniglia .All'interno del locale un'atmosfera che sa di semplicità raffinata .

27/11/2025: A wonderful restaurant, we popped in for lunch. All menu was available except for pizza as they only do a night. Food was delicious 😋. The best pasta dish I have had in the 4 yrs of visiting sicily. Good value and good service.

21/10/2025: Closed, although advertised as open. It's quite a long drive from Palermo. There's no signage on site either. Too bad, it looked good.

27/10/2025: We had the most delicious pastries here before setting off on the Magna Via Francigena. Get there early if you want a good selection. We arrived at 8:00 (2 hrs after opening) on a Sunday and by the time we left most of the pastries were gone.

14/12/2025: I guess we were too early, because we were the only ones there. We had a reservation. The food was delicious, the portions were huge. The prices were average and low. The staff was friendly and pleasant, and you could tell they were trying. I recommend it!

24/07/2025: Found the quant bar on our last night in a side street which has lots of tiny umbrellas hung from string overhead. Great choice of drinks and wife had her best vodka and coke on the island. Wished we found this bar earlier

29/11/2025: My daughter's graduation A wonderful evening thanks to the very kind owner and the staff led by Vincenzo, who were ready to satisfy our every request. The menu was excellent and plentiful. Everything was delicious.

17/11/2025: We visited this restaurant on a Saturday, at a table of four. After calling several times to have our order taken, we finally managed to place our order. The food arrived promptly, but the drinks weren't served with the dishes; we had to ask twice for them. After we finished the appetizers, the first courses were served, but the table hadn't yet been cleared. Although the staff noticed we were finished, no one came to collect our plates. The food was overall acceptable and the value was reasonable, but the service could be improved, especially in the management of the drinks and the attention to the tables.

12/11/2025: Excellent pizzeria in Alimena. Small and cozy. Friendly service, top-notch pizza.

17/09/2025: Delicious pizza on perhaps one of the busiest nights of the year, the Eve of The Feast of Saint Mary Magdelene. This little gem of a town, Alimena, was hopping and three hungry Americans -- we Ladies -- were so happy to sit for awhile with delicious pizza and fine white wine. Yummy! ❤️🍕❤️🍕❤️

02/12/2025: Excellent pastry shop or a quick work lunch. Everything was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

05/11/2025: After a long time since I'd frequented the historic bar in the upper part of Viale Strasburgo, I found it aesthetically renovated but, unfortunately, disappointing in its products. Breakfast was not a daily occurrence, and the coffee was burnt... undrinkable. What a shame!

09/12/2025: We were in the area and decided to get a maxi margherita plus a regular margherita to take away and we had the pleasure of tasting an excellent dough.
