24/07/2026: A very pleasant surprise! This is a true gem located outside the very center of Palermo, away from the tourist bustle. This allows you to dine in peace and soak up the local atmosphere. We ordered panko-crusted shrimp, pasta with shrimp tartare, fritto misto, and pizza. All dishes were very tasty, prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The pasta with shrimp tartare was particularly impressive – original and full of flavor. The fritto misto was light and crispy, and the pizza was also of a very high standard. The service is also a big plus – very friendly, smiling, and helpful. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a good dinner in a place frequented by locals, this is definitely worth a visit.

01/04/2026: THIS REVIEW IS TO BRING ATTENTION TO AN UNPLEASANT INCIDENT The restaurants on Viale Strasburgo and Via Paternostro in Palermo, despite advertising on The Fork the possibility of using Yums to obtain a €20 discount, first accepted and then canceled reservations twice recently. Beyond the insult of losing the expiring Yums, I would like to highlight the behavior of the restaurant manager, especially the one on Viale Strasburgo, who confirmed reservations at 5:33 PM and then canceled at 6:40 PM. I have nothing to say about the manager's behavior, as, according to The Fork rules, he is entitled to free will, but a reputable platform like The Fork cannot allow such incidents, especially on expiration dates for the very products and/or discounts that they themselves advertise and offer. Finally, I hope to always be a welcome guest in a restaurant where I have always eaten well.

They offer a great variety of both sweet and savory products, so there’s something for everyone. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Visiting this café truly made us feel like part of the local culture and everyday life in Palermo, Sicily. Highly recommended!

05/08/2026: We stopped for lunch one day and were very pleasantly surprised. The prices are very reasonable compared to what you'd find in Cefalu. And the pizza was good!

18/07/2026: Hands down best meal we had in Sicily, so much so that we had to revisit it on our final night. This restaurant has to be on your list if you’re visiting Palermo - INCREDIBLE food, amazing views of the cathedral and the most welcoming service we’ve ever had. Angela and the chef absolutely made this experience - what amazing people. Don’t be deterred by it being tucked away in a less touristy and quieter area of the city - the food is absolutely sensational. Be sure to order the Caponata with the fish or the Melanzana, the tomato sauce is delicious!

08/09/2025: I discovered this hidden gem on my last day in Italy. The coffee and small pizzas were incredibly affordable and delicious, perfect for starting the day. The staff's smiles were as bright as the Sicilian morning sun.
