14/12/2025: Value for Money was unbeatable: 12/10 Food: 10/10 excellent Atmosphere: 6/10 This is a no frills "if the food is good. I don't care about the settings" restaurant.

31/10/2025: The BEST food I had so far in Italy (we are here 6 weeks now). I love African food more than Italian food, so I was extremely happy to end up here. The quality is just exactly as it is in African countries. The portions are big and the prices very, very low (for Italian standards). If I would live in Palermo I would go here very often. An absolute recommendation. The 19 year old who served us is a delightful young woman. It was being back in West Africa for a while.

29/10/2025: I tried this place with some friends right after visiting the observatory (which I recommend). The place is very nice, not too big. Very popular. We had an aperitif with two platters, and we were pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were very good and the platter was varied, with delicious dishes. From pasta to sandwiches to potatoes... We finished with desserts and coffee. The price was excellent; in fact, we would have expected more given the offer! The staff was friendly and smiling! What can I say, I recommend it! 😉🪐🔭🍹

10/12/2025: This place is one of those gems you stumble upon by chance and fall in love with. We had spectacular cannoli and baked cassata. The sweetness is well-balanced, the ricotta delicious, and the staff super friendly. Forget the fancy pastry shops downtown and enjoy the authentic heart of the city.

05/08/2025: I went last year and wasn't very impressed, but this year I saw so many improvements that I gave it five stars, even though that's excessive for now, but I want to believe they'll improve even further. I recommend trying the sautéed mushrooms, which are as good as those at Filaga, but they also come with a pizza/focaccia cut into pieces and at a surprisingly low price. The pizza is excellent, and the fries are generously sized. I recommend anyone passing through Lercara to try it at least once. Enjoy your meal, everyone.

25/12/2025: I bought a delicious 1-kilo Sicilian buccellato. It's delicious and rivals the best pastry shops in Palermo. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the prices are excellent. You won't be disappointed when you bring it to friends or family.

19/10/2025: We had a lovely evening in this bar. The service was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We ate and drank well and the atmosphere was great. The very friendly owner even lent us a corkscrew the next day (we were renting accommodation very close by). I recommend it without hesitation.

28/09/2025: Excellent location, special thanks to Alessandro for hosting Mary and I, along with our post-wedding guests. It was a wonderful evening with great music, polite and friendly staff, excellent food, and it ended late at night, just as we expected.

29/10/2025: A typical street café with delicious croissants (Cornetto). It's worth stopping here for a quick espresso or cappuccino.

08/10/2025: This tiny cafe and bar doesn’t look like much from the street, but the cornetti are the finest I tasted in Palermo. I enjoyed a delicious coffee, friendly service and a bit of Italian banter every day for the duration of my course at nearby Scuola Lingua Siciliana. Grazie mille!

02/11/2025: Stayed at a near by all inclusive hotel. Without getting transport to closest tourist places, Cefalu or Palmero, there is nothing outside of the hotel complex. 2 weeks ago there was a Ferrari car tribute event so had a walk out along the road to watch AND stumbled on this GREAT LITTLE CAFE. Having already eaten, Just stopped for a coffee (and beer🫣😂). Looks to be run by a family, with a great selection of authentic food and drink. Also very reasonably priced. A good break from an all inclusive hotel, experiencing more culture. Very polite and welcoming. English isn't great so like a game of sharards but that was the authenticity we liked of true Sicily 😃. Overheard others who had a meal saying how nice the food was. Even if it's only a walk out of the hotel and a drnykike us, support this great independent
