18/05/2026: Well, the food was good. The stake medium, not medium rare. The shrimp oast was lovely. The only disappointment I had was that the menu was fairly short. It has nothing to do with the menu presented here on Google Maps.

17/07/2026: All the pastas were really tasty. Homemade and rich flavour. Daily chages in the menu which shows is fresh. Staff were quick and helpful too.

16/07/2026: Giving two stars because my pasta was nice. The antipasti plate was not, sending half of it back to the kitchen uneaten. The service was very slow despite not being busy. The staff all look unhappy and can sense they are being watched by owners/management. As mentioned in another review, the music is horrendously loud. For the entire time the TV was set to a Youtube channel playing AI slop reggae, over and over again, the generic, repetitive sounding songs. Combine with the owner watching TikTok on his phone at full volume throughout, even leaving his phone playing at the table as he went to the till to collect money from people. Honestly it was a sensory overload nightmare.

05/05/2026: This is not really a Palazzo anymore, but a museum instead. Upon walking in, the lady at the desk was very kind and told me the next tour was in 45 minutes. I came back only to be led around by a "guide" who was a young woman who clearly hated her job. You are able to scan a QR code to bring up an audio guide on your phone, (they had English & Italian, not sure if any other languages) & listen to a minute or so about each room. The kind lady initially said the audio guide would supplement what the tour guide had to say. My tour guide said absolutely nothing about the museum or artifacts, just did some glaring at our small group & prompting to head to the next room. The museum has a very nice collection, but unfortunately I had a very awful "guide".

19/07/2026: Everything was wonderful. We had lunch for three for work. I hadn't been to this restaurant in at least 20-25 years. I found the location very elegant, the service quality and impeccable staff were excellent. The prawn tartare, the turbot on a bed of potatoes, and the spaghetti with prawns and pistachios were excellent. We ordered a myriad of things, all good, but these dishes really won me over. Try the almond parfait... Not with hot chocolate, though; I serve it with coffee and Baileys. It's sublime... I'll happily return.

08/07/2026: We booked this restaurant, which is beautiful from the photos and has a wonderful presence. The location was truly perfect, with an open kitchen and a relaxed atmosphere. The owner told us they only serve fish, and we were looking for a place to eat excellent fresh fish. So, we had very high expectations. The menu was limited, but decisive. The raw fish appetizer was delicious and very fresh. For the main courses, we had the octopus au gratin on a bed of mashed potatoes, which was also delicious, but... the other main course we chose, the Mazzara shrimp frozen on board (it was written there, and they claim it), was unfortunately disappointing. It was cooked well, but I'm sorry, it wasn't Mazzara shrimp, since we know it very well, very well, and we've eaten it both fresh and frozen beforehand, and it's recognizable even to those who aren't experts. This shrimp they brought us is the classic one found frozen in large packages, also because you can recognize it by its color, flavor, and the fact that it doesn't come off its shell. For this reason, we were honestly very disappointed. We didn't say anything to the owner because he seemed rude. But why waste time on a glass of water if everything else was impeccable? Raise the price a bit and serve a top-quality product. Otherwise, don't write "Mazzara shrimp," please!!! The baked potatoes were excellent. For everything else, we congratulate you and will definitely be back. NICOLL AND CALO. P.S.: I would recommend some very soft music to accompany lunch or dinner, to muffle the commotion in the kitchen and still enhance the food. That relaxing Chinese or Japanese music, since that's mostly the theme.

20/07/2026: We spent our last two evenings here watching the World Cup. The atmosphere, the people, the drinks, and the food – everything was perfect! I highly recommend this place. If I ever come back to Palermo, I'll be happy to visit Ai Bagnoli again 🥰

31/05/2026: Very nice. The food was excellent. We were overcharged a bit on the bottled wine. The house wine was undrinkable, at least for us. The bottled wine was too expensive. Nevertheless, the best restaurant in town.

19/07/2026: If I had to describe "Il Ghiottone Raffinato" and "Casale Amato" in three words, I'd say: Taste, Care, Magic. From the first bite to the tasting menu, they made us feel pampered, not just customers. "Casale Amato" did the rest: a dream location, meticulously curated down to the last detail, which made our day even more special. On the wedding day, everything went perfectly: "Il Ghiottone Raffinato" dishes were served at the perfect time, hot, beautiful to look at, and even better to eat. Our guests continued to compliment us until late... between the food and the atmosphere at Casale Amato, it was a 10/10. And to be honest, we still talk about it. Beyond the food, the "Il Ghiottone Raffinato" team was pure gold: discreet, professional, and always smiling. Rosi, the manager of "Casale Amato," made us feel at home from the very first visit. They lifted a huge weight off our shoulders and allowed us to enjoy our day 100%. Thank you so much to both of you for making our "I do" unforgettable. If you're getting married, close your eyes and choose them. We would make this choice 1,000 times over.

15/01/2026: I went there for the first time for an aperitif, and everything was truly delicious! The vegan cacio e pepe (with their own "cheese") was delicious, as were all the other vegan appetizers on the platter. The cocktails were also delicious, and the staff was very kind and helpful. A truly pleasant discovery that I especially recommend to those following a plant-based diet. 🤗

28/04/2026: We stayed at the hotel that's part of the restaurant. A very kind person greeted us and showed us to our table. We ordered two appetizers and two first courses. Both were very good. We'll definitely be back and I recommend it.
