19/11/2025: We stopped by Alter Ego after a few friends recommended Gesualdo's cuisine. Not only did we enjoy delicious food on our first night, but we also returned the second night to try the pizza, which we were extremely pleased with as well. All this was complemented by Gesualdo's friendliness and his invaluable advice. Every time we pass through Caltavuturo, Gesualdo's restaurant will be a regular stop!

16/11/2025: Get off the beaten track, visit this lovely town and do not forget to go to this restaurant! They produce almost everything (including grain for the pasta, pizza and desserts!) themselves. Interior is modern, the staff knows a lot about their food, you’ll meet some unique Sicilian dishes and ingredients. It’s honest and delicious and it won’t cost much. Buon appetito!

24/11/2025: We had dinner at Il Baro pizzeria and had a truly excellent experience! We had an appetizer and three pizzas: the appetizer was very good, but the pizzas were simply extraordinary. The pizza of the day, created by the master pizza chef, was an incredible surprise for its taste and originality, with an exceptional balance of flavors. The service was precise, friendly, and very fast, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. Good value: we spent about €60 for a €0.50 draft beer, three pizzas, a water, and an appetizer. Definitely a place to return!

18/11/2025: It's a shame there's no option to give 0. We arrive on Sunday at 1:30 PM and are seated at 2:00 PM. When we make our reservation, they tell us there's a half-hour wait for the first courses, which is fine. At 3:00 PM, the people next to us leave without eating, tired by now. We ask the waitress how far the pasta is going, and she walks away and disappears. We get up too, fed up, and go to pay for our drinks, but nothing. The owner tells us they were preparing them, but by then we'd lost our appetite. At 3:20 PM, we leave hungry. Maybe the food is worth it, I haven't had a chance to try it, but the service certainly isn't. Too many seats for a kitchen that's probably too small. Non-existent service.

04/11/2025: The best gluten-free pizza I've ever had! We celiacs know how difficult it is to find a gluten-free pizza that's even slightly edible...well, Pacinotti's gluten-free pizza is as good as, if not better than, "regular" pizzas. The dough is both soft and crispy, and they also come in so many flavors, you'll easily find one you like. Highly recommended!

06/08/2025: Veramente top. Personale squisito. Competente, professionale, mai invadente. Materia prima di eccellente qualità, cucinata bene e presentata in modo elegante. La parmigiana…….ha ricordato quella della nonna. La tartare con i pomodori secchi e Burrata la migliore mai degustata. Nessun commensale ha trovato nulla da ridire, tutti soddisfatti al massimo. Ubicato in pieno centro ma in zona tranquilla. All interno il locale è molto bello,accogliente. Ero perplesso sul fatto che fosse disponibile una sola birra e pure in bottiglia, per un locale di carne mi sembrava deludente. Dopo averla bevuta ed aver sentito la spiegazione………ho capito. Vale la pena di berla, eccome. Complimenti al personale di sala ed allo chef. Bravi veramente.

31/07/2025: Fantastisk oplevelse. Super venligt personale der sørgede for os bord til os, trods vi ikke havde bestilt bord og der var mange mennesker så snart de åbnede kl. 19.30. De ydede god service, var smilende og gode til at spørge ind til maden. De var ligeledes gode til at oplyse om mad, vin m.v. Maden var fantastisk. Vi fik kød, som var så mørt at det nærmest ikke skulle skæres! Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse. Vi kommer gerne igen!

13/07/2025: My first Sicilian Gelateria after a long sail from America. We stayed in the harbor for a month and this place and the local neighbors made us feel welcome. I haven't found more delicious flavors or the same quality anywhere else. We sailed back to Arenella this summer to have this nearby and sadly it was temporary closed due to a fire.

22/03/2025: Great fine dining experience in Termini. I wanted to see the place months before I actually travelled there because I respect their vision and, of course, food looked great in all pictures. They were flexible enough to change my reservation even one hour before, as booking ahead sometimes can come with surprises. When I did manage to eat there, I found two great people, presenting the restaurant and the food in a simple, but meaningful way. Had the degustation menu and 3 wine pairing- food was excellent, all dishes. Some surprising tastes and textures, well balanced food. The wines they chose are the best I drank in Sicily, from Sicily. I recommend it with all my heart.

03/10/2025: Highly recommend!! I had a really pleasant experience. The vegan aperitif was super generous and really good quality. I also appreciated the beer selection. The staff was super friendly and made me feel at ease right away. The atmosphere was lovely and the food was good.

18/09/2025: This place literally has the best vegan Pasta I had forever! Staff is super friendly and the overall atmosphere is soo chill. Also they have an amazing Playlist ;)

21/09/2025: Historic bakery on the Corso di Cinisi where you can buy excellent quality baked goods at a fair price. Polite and professional operators.
