30/04/2026: The restaurant is located on the water with both indoor and outdoor dining with nice views. I ordered croaker fish as my main course. I absolutely loved it! Cooked perfectly for my liking. Sweet and tender flaky white fish grilled vegetables on the side. 20 euros. My friend enjoyed her meal as well. Highly recommend!

10/05/2026: Special dishes based on pistachio cream and chopped pistachios, both pasta dishes and pizzas, specialties!! As for the rest, I had classic bruschetta and tonnarelli with fried zucchini and Mazzara red shrimp. Good, good ingredients, but not excellent! Very fast service. Friendly and efficient, even when it was packed on a Saturday night—not for everyone! Well done!

Located at Via Roma 330, it's run with love and passion by a family who has created a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing yet special evening. When it comes to beers, Shelby never disappoints. My absolute favorite is the Apollo IPA. It's a beer like no other, with a full, well-balanced flavor, citrusy and slightly resinous notes. Every sip is a pleasure, and for IPA lovers, it's an experience not to be missed. Another aspect that makes this pub unique is the possibility of finding Guinness on tap, a true rarity in Palermo. There's nothing better than enjoying a perfectly poured pint in such a welcoming atmosphere. And speaking of hospitality, I can't help but mention Clara, who with her kindness and professionalism always manages to make everyone feel at home. It's truly rare to find such attentive and warm service. And then there's Oreo, the pub cat, a loving presence that makes the atmosphere even more special. It's impossible not to grow fond of him! In short, Shelby is much more than just a pub: it's a place where every detail is taken care of to offer an unforgettable experience, where the quality of the beers pairs perfectly with a welcome that makes you feel part of a big family. Returning yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised to find Brewdog Punk IPA on tap. This beer, a West Coast IPA, is an explosion of flavors thanks to its intense hops and rebellious malts. Furthermore, right across the street from the pub, the "Palazzo Liberty Unique Hotel" has just opened. This hotel offers a luxurious experience in an Art Nouveau building, with an elegant combination of modern furnishings and historic details. Its central location between the Teatro Massimo and the Teatro Politeama makes it ideal for both business and leisure stays.

28/05/2026: We were hardly bothered by the train running right across the campsite. The pitches were large and neatly maintained. We even got a double pitch. The pitch is on concrete, so it is hardly possible to hammer pegs into the ground. If you want to use an awning, ask for a pitch on grass or something similar. The sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean. I just don't understand why there is no toilet seat on the toilet. It took some getting used to that toilet paper was not allowed to be thrown in the toilet. In summary, a customer-friendly, neat campsite. We found it a nice bonus that the village of Finale offers some catering establishments within walking distance.

26/05/2026: Nice parking spaces downstairs (not the ones on the concrete slab above), friendly staff and a great pizzeria right next door (definitely eat there, the wine is delicious and reasonably priced, pizzas from €7)

25/04/2026: Entering Duomi Sushi in Palermo for the first time today was a delightful discovery in every way. We were immediately greeted with warmth, in a refined, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere, accompanied by simply impeccable and helpful staff, smiling and attentive to every detail. The culinary experience was excellent. Each dish stood out for its quality, freshness, and flavor, but what particularly struck me was the attention to service: the food always arrived piping hot, a detail that is far from predictable and rarely seen in other similar establishments. The passion the entire staff puts into their work is evident: everyone, without exception, was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming, helping make the lunch even more enjoyable. A 5-star experience in every way. I will definitely return every time I'm in Palermo with great pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, attentive service, and a truly special atmosphere.
