18/01/2026: A pastry shop in the heart of a small village worth a visit. The owner is incredibly kind and the products are superb. Fresh ingredients and, above all, authentic, not at all cloying flavors. The owner kindly let us try several traditional delicacies, and we were more than satisfied with everything; the "sfoglio" (pastry rolls) were excellent, and the bocconcini (small bites) were special. Highly recommended.
06/01/2026: This afternoon we visited this delightful pastry shop in the historic center of Petralia Sottana. It was truly a delightful experience, filled with exquisite pastries and local delicacies. My heartfelt compliments to the owner, a man with old-world charm, kindness, and courtesy, who treated me to some truly unique delicacies. I hope to return with infinite pleasure!

10/06/2026: On a short vacation, I met Diego, owner of the Virginia bar, and his family on Via Sammartino in Palermo!
Highly recommended for their friendliness, helpfulness, and... fantastic croissants, savory breakfasts—what can I say, the best!

25/07/2026: I had lunch on the all-you-can-eat menu on a weekday for €16.90 plus cover charge, excluding drinks.
Unfortunately, I felt a little sick after lunch.
The dishes are very generous, especially the first courses.
The variety of dishes is typical of these restaurants.
The service is good.
Good value for money.

I had a fantastic experience at this sushi shop. The service was excellent—friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The food arrived very quickly, and every dish was fresh and beautifully presented. There was a great variety of sushi and fresh fish to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. It’s amazing value for money! Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back again.

09/03/2026: I stopped by chance, drawn by the time, thinking I'd find a classic street sandwich. I was sorely mistaken: it was anything but, simply, delicious! The owner who cooks is super friendly and welcoming. A definite plus is the cleanliness of the place and the well-stocked kitchen. My compliments, I'll definitely be back.

Atmosphere: 6/10 This is a no frills "if the food is good. I don't care about the settings" restaurant.
31/10/2025: The BEST food I had so far in Italy (we are here 6 weeks now). I love African food more than Italian food, so I was extremely happy to end up here. The quality is just exactly as it is in African countries. The portions are big and the prices very, very low (for Italian standards). If I would live in Palermo I would go here very often. An absolute recommendation. The 19 year old who served us is a delightful young woman. It was being back in West Africa for a while.

29/10/2025: I tried this place with some friends right after visiting the observatory (which I recommend). The place is very nice, not too big. Very popular. We had an aperitif with two platters, and we were pleasantly surprised. The cocktails were very good and the platter was varied, with delicious dishes. From pasta to sandwiches to potatoes... We finished with desserts and coffee. The price was excellent; in fact, we would have expected more given the offer! The staff was friendly and smiling!
What can I say, I recommend it! 😉🪐🔭🍹
