Sciampagna In Palermo

I'll start by saying that I'm not crazy about desserts, but this pastry shop made me think again, there were two of us, we took 2 single portions, and then I had to take a third because they were both good to look at and taste, the prices may seem high, but for the quality, taste and all the work that goes into it, especially the area in which it is located, €5 is worth a lot to us

The desserts are delicious, but I would like to put one star less for the staff, they should be more kind and smiling.

What can I say if not superlative....when you start to taste their delicacies you get lost as if in a spell..

Piccola pasticceria alle spalle del teatro Politeama. Staff cortese e gentile, ambiente carino anche se piccolo. Pasticceria ottima e davvero particolare, attenzione e cura nella realizzazione delle specialità di pasticceria.

At the moment for me the best pastry shop in Palermo.

We've been to Sciampagna for more than 5 times, their macarons are divine (see photo below). I really think that they are great masters of pastry art. The place is absolutely worth visiting. As for their products, we can really not complain. However, the place is unreliable: in the last 6 months we found it closed twice (once we found out that they were on holidays, which they definitely deserved, but the other day-off was without any justification). The staff is nice, a bit reserved, but this kind of Western style is still ok. Their products are definitely expensive, but they guarantee a nice, clean space. I find the shop often empty, glass shelves are echoing without any displayed product, which is a pity and we don't really like the dine-in space upstairs. Nonetheless, if you like sophisticated well-designed and very French-styled cafés, Sciampagna will do for you.

Trovato per caso a Palermo, tanti anni fa ero stato a quello di Marineo. I dolci, solo a guardarli fanno venire l’acquolina in bocca. la persona dietro al banco è stata molto gentile a descriverci i vari dolci presenti, abbiamo assaggiato due meravigliosi maritozzi. Torneremo per assaggiare il resto

Abbiamo scovato per caso questa bellissima pasticceria con saletta superiore arredata in modo delizioso. Il bancone presenta dei piccoli capolavori a livello estetico, anche le torte sono bellissime. Io ho assaggiato un cannolo (riempito al momento, ricotta buona, una sfoglia con crema di frutti rossi e frutti rossi sopra e un mignon. Servizio da migliorare.
