A place to spend some peaceful moments with a cake and a coffee

For those who love Viennese pastries and French pastries, this is a small oasis of salvation. Unfortunately, places like this in Palermo are a dream, but that doesn't mean the products are impeccable. 🙂 The selection of puff pastry is vast, but unfortunately, it lacks fragrance (I think it's because the products aren't baked on-site but rather transported pre-baked, since the Palermo location isn't the main one). However, the flavor is excellent, and the prices are reasonable for products of this caliber. Sometimes, some puff pastry is too soaked in syrup, which can be annoying, especially when the fragrance is lacking. But despite these flaws, it's hard to find a place that compares! I also had the chance to try the cakes, and for the price-quality ratio, they have no rivals among modern cakes; they're very balanced and never cloying. The atmosphere is very refined, and the window display looks like a true French-style jewelry store. Despite the criticism, it's one of my favorite places!

Very elegant place. I was there last Sunday: there were 12 of us and we waited about 15 minutes for a table. We had already ordered while waiting, but once we were seated, we had to wait even longer before being served, even though our order had already been placed. The pastries are nothing to write home about: the products are of excellent quality, truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff seemed unprofessional and inattentive. We also had to wait a long time for our coffee. The bathroom was a sore point: I didn't expect it to be so dirty, with no paper or soap. In conclusion, the pastries are excellent, but everything else needs improvement.

I've been to Sciampagna Pastry Shop many times, and each time I've found the service and customer service exceptional. Furthermore, the products are delicious and made with quality ingredients.

I tried their leavened pastries and I must say both the apple basket and the Venetian cream cake were fabulous. Recommended for those who love elaborate and well-made desserts. In the center of Palermo, next to the Wagner Hotel. Average prices. Very fast counter staff.

A positive experience; I would have expected more personality from this pastry shop given the excellent reviews. I will say, however, that the staff is friendly and there are plenty of options. A positive experience, although I missed that extra touch. Stop by and see for yourself.

Extremely well-kept atmosphere. Super fresh, top-quality products. Excellent service. It's no coincidence that Gambero Rosso named it one of the best patisseries in Italy.

Average breakfast; I expected something more; the croissant was heavy and undercooked inside. The cappuccino was good. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, distracted, and indifferent. The atmosphere was pleasant and tasteful, with a small but well-curated display case and aesthetically perfect pastries.

The place is small but meticulously maintained; as soon as you enter, you immediately sense an elegant atmosphere and a wonderful sense of cleanliness. I've only tried the takeaway pastries, and they're truly excellent. Special mention for the Dolcetto Rosso: simply delicious.
