Baglio Himera is a beautiful place. I consider it "Sicilian-style," meaning it respects its Sicilian origins, what makes us Sicilians special. The food is delicious; I had the pasta with pistachios, cream, and shrimp, which you must try here—delicious!—and the fried seafood was even better. The service is good, and the staff is kind and courteous. The atmosphere is beautiful, decorated in Sicilian tradition, well-maintained, and spacious, with plenty of seating. Highly recommended for a birthday party. In short, the place is perfect... highly recommended.

A pleasant discovery, an old farmhouse near the sea. It was recommended to us by friends while passing through Catania. Excellent lunch, all expertly prepared. The staff were truly courteous, attentive, and fast, despite the full dining room. Highly recommended.

We've passed this restaurant several times, always intrigued by its architecture, and during a visit to the Antiquarium of Himera, we decided to make a reservation to satisfy our curiosity. I must say it was a great choice: the beautiful setting exudes rural history and retains an authentic aspect, including a millstone and tools. The service was very professional and genuinely friendly, and the dishes were meticulously prepared, plentiful, and truly delicious. We were amazed by the appetizer buffet, featuring a wide variety of locally sourced artichokes, battered cardoons and broccoli, and the seafood-based pasta dishes. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered.

An experience to try over and over again... From meat to fish and even pizza! Very friendly staff and efficient service. The restaurant is wonderful, having been converted from an ancient farmhouse with an adjoining ancient olive oil mill. Highly recommended.

An iconic venue where you can admire vintage photos of Targa Florio cars and enjoy excellent quality dishes with top-notch, friendly service. You'll want to return for the pizza, too. Highly recommended (reservations are recommended on holidays).

11/06/2026: If you get the table at the back you get a great Seaview. The food was incredible. Three very tasty dishes not including the tuna sashimi which hit the mark. All in all a great experience
10/06/2026: The window seat I requested is absolutely stunning but unfortunately the air con blows so hard we had to move to the table on the street - if you do not mind ice cold air blowing in your eyes, you will have the best sunset view of your life there! The staff were attentive to us and while initially it was not possible to move to a less arctic table, the main boss made it possible. We were served promptly until it came to the final bill - in the end we needed to get up to pay despite the restaurant not being busy at all (Monday evening). Now on to the food - absolutely spectacular. The mackerel special was insane. It is not cheap but the quality and flavour is fantastic.
